☆Drillien Rp☆
The soft slither and hiss of grass fills your ears as you trek through the prairie, soft lights like fireflies glinting in the distance.
A dip in the ground, and you stumble, coming upon a large hollow, filled with Drilliens...

Welcome to the Drillien rp
*☆*
A few things you should know...
This isn't just some rp where you can pop in a form and be good to go. If you're going to make a Drillien, it needs to be with the understanding that this is an semi-closed species. That means I dont want fifteen million Drilliens to suddenly be made so you can rp
Don't make a coastal Drillien, and then say it lives in the arctic. Just don't. Each Drillien type has unique traits as to where it lives, and you can't just toss a creature that has lived its entire life on the beach, into the freezing cold
Drilliens don't necessarily mate for life, most of the time they just find the flashiest male, and have an egg together. However, if you really want to, I can mark Drilliens down as mates.
Don't run around becoming mates with Drilliens from across the island. Prairie and Arctic Drilliens will never meet unless brought together by humans. Use common sense
I feel like this is a lot of rules (sorry) so imma just add one more. Please let me know before you go do anything important, so you can get the go ahead. Such as, becoming mates, trying to have an egg (so I can give the success rate) or attacking another Drillien/human
Anyways, have fun! I hope those giant paragraphs up above didn't scare you off
Byeeeeeee

The Territories
*☆*

The Jungle:
The jungle is leafy place where little light shines through, filled with vibrant flowers and curling vines. There are various levels to the jungle, and the higher up you go, the more light gets through
On the east part of the jungle, there is a large, towering mountain that is rumored to be an ancient volcano.
On the northwest side, there is a small island filled with rare flowers, but also strange creatures. Younglings must travel to the island and return with a flower to become fully recognized.
The jungle is also filled with small tribes and villages of Inerians. Drilliens are advised to stay away from the tribes, and give them a wide berth.
The Savannah:
The savannah is filled with tall grasses, and clusters of trees dotted throughout. On the west side of the biome, the border to the Jungle is actually part of the mountain, as it is a sheer cliff.
On the east, there is a staggering drop down to the waters, but many Inerians carve homes out of the cliffs, and live just at the edge. They have many enticing flowers, but seem obsessed on riding Drilliens
There are large watering holes throughout the savanna, where large herds of Dukis (think antelope, but with an extra pair of legs and eyes) and pherons (large bird-like creatures, but with scales instead of feathers) tend to gather, which makes it good hunting grounds
Beware of the rainy season, however, as strange creatures appear in the night, and lone Drilliens have been found dead in the morning
Shallows/Coast
The shallows are a fairly unpredictable place, with the temperament of the waters varying by day. Coastal Drilliens live on the beach along with the Tropical Drilliens, but unlike Tropical Drilliens, they spend a lot a time in the water.
Some Drilliens are brave enough to plunge into the deep waters of the ocean, and can occasionally find rare foods, or even an occasional anenome, which are very coveted
They tend to spend their days playing in the waters, or sunbathing on the warm sands of the beach
Tropics
The tropics are like a tame version of the jungle, but there is an impenetrable wall of vines separating the two biomes. It is filled with large flowers and fruits, but many Drilliens prefer sand scuttlers and crabs
They spend a lot of their time doing things in the sand, or climbing the trees that are on the western side of the biome. More adventurous Drilliens will venture out into the waters of the shallows
They also spend a lot of time with the Coastal Drilliens, resulting in most hybrid Drilliens to be be between the two breed types
Woodlands
In the Woodlands, the branches are too high up for most Drilliens to climb up to them, so most stay down on the forest floor. Food consists of many fallen nuts and earthy things. They dont eat meat as often, as most creatures dwell high in the trees.
Inerians also live high in the forest, in strange bulb like homes. They are very kind to passing Drilliens, but they also seem fixated on trying to ride them
Woodland Drilliens are probably the most solitary breed type, living in small family clusters. They are still friendly to other family clusters, and seem strangely similar to how the Inerians live
Arctic
Not many Drilliens live in the arctic, and if they do, it is either near the floating ice, or at the rock wall the separates the biomes. The middle of the biome is harsh and cold, so few dare to live there
Drilliens scrape out their existence by eating kiwles (not even sure how to describe it) and sometimes diving down to catch fish and other water creatures
Arctic Drilliens live in large groups, as they sleep together at night to keep warm. Everyone is cared for as a community, the weakest tended to first
Caves
Cave Drilliens are very defensive against any threat. Food is scarce down in the caves, forcing Drilliens to fight for the chance to survive
All younglings are taken in large groups, and are often fed first before anyone else. However, old Drilliens are often chased out of the caves, for taking up space and eating food that could be given to stronger Drilliens
However, if domesticated, cave Drilliens are the most loyal and kindest, often going out and bringing home strange foods just to show affection
Speaking of showing affection, how male Cave Drilliens attract mates is by collecting a pile of food. If a female approves of the food and size of the pile, they will try for an egg together. If two males are competing for attention, the loser will often just bring the food as an offering to whoever leads the group
Prairies
Prairie Drilliens are skittish in solitary, living in groups no larger than three. They spend most of their time racing the wind and trying to catch the dukis that live there. Other foods include various grasses, and a strange plant called an ozumtur.
Prairie Drilliens, despite their flighty nature, can be very stubborn, and aren't a creature to be messed with, being faster than other Drilliens, and, like all breed types, have sharp fangs (similar to a cat's)
Inerians on this biome are few and far between, until you reach the cliffs overlooking the ocean. There, a bustling city has been founded, and looks very similar to a giant termite nest. Enticing flowers grow around the edge of the city, but don't get too close, are you might be captured
That is all the information you need (I think)! If you have any questions, please tag me and let me know, and I will tell you to the best of my ability
Have fun!
