Dear Bully,
I HATE YOU.
Do you think I can forgive so easily?
Do you even understand the pain you put me through?
. . .
The boy smiles as he looks in the mirror. He had changed his tight shirt and pants into a jacket and sweats. His grey sweats hang loosely around his waist, and his jacket is halfly zipped showing his bare hard chest.
"Ahh, that's more comfortable." He says turning around. He stops when he looks at his window.
He frowns, he goes to his window and tears down his blinds. When what is revealed behind his blinds, he freezes. His heart starts racing as watches the girl laugh on the phone pacing around her room. He watches as every movement of her body is perfectly rythmed. Her legs show with her slightly above mid thigh silky black shorts with a matching tank top showing her bare back. Her beautiful black hair is pulled into a ponytail, which lays perfectly on her shoulder.
"Wow." He gasps
The girl laughs at Chelsea's joke, "Oh my, that is so corny."
"I know right! I just read it off a meme right!" Chelsea laughs through the phone.
"Oh my gosh, I love memes. Have you seen the birdbox memes? They are all over the place, I don't think I can go through the internet without seeing at least one on them." The girl laughs.
"Dude don't forgot about the airpods one." Chelsea adds.
"Oh my lord, let's not even start with those," The girl smiles, she turns towards her window and freezes, "Um, hey I'll call you back."
The girl hangs up her phone and walks to her window. There behind the glass shows an image that can heal any sore eyes. The boy stands there with a small smile on his full lips and his skin glows with the light of the sunset. His 'comfy' outfit now looked like an outfit of the gods and his bare hard chest glows.
Both the boy and the girl stare out their window looking at each other with lustful eyes. Both not able to control their heart beats, and the tingling sensation running through their body.
Gathering enough courage the boy smoothly points towards their front yards, and the girl nods. They both quickly climb down their stair and meet in the girl's drive way. Her heart beats quickly as his presence makes her nervous.
"What am I doing?" She mutters to herself snapping back to reality.
"H-hey..." the boy says. His courage is gone, he is now a nervous wreck.
"Hey..." the girl replies with a sigh.
"So you took down your blinds?" the boys ask the obvious. He shoves his hands into his pockets and sways on his feet nervously, but the girl does not notice this. Her head is too busy racing, wondering if the boy was mad at her for taking down her blinds. Is he going to punish her?
"Uh yeah, I see you did too. If you want I can put my back up so you can keep yours down, you know so you're not bothered by me-" she suggests
"No!" The boy replies quickly, then mentally slaps himself.
"So what did you call me down here for?" She asks confuse.
"Umm, I- Actually I don't how to put this so I'm going to say it straight foward, I-" he takes a deep breathe and looks straight into the girl's eyes, "I like..." He sighs and shakes his head.
The girl raises her eyebrow and tilts her head to look at his face clearer. Then her eyes widen, he's blushing?
"Why are you blushing?" She asks bluntly.
He chuckles at her blunt question. "Because. I don't know." He says looking away from her to hide his blush.
Confused and blinded, she sighs jumping to the first conclusion.
"Ah, I know why you called me out here." She states crossing her arms over her chest and leans to one leg.
"You do?" The boy asks in shock, looking back at her again with a slight smile on his face as his heart rate picks up and his body stiffens.
"Yeah, you like Chelsea and want me to help you get with her." She says already knowing how being the uglier friend works.
The boy frowns, how did she come to that conclusion he wonders. As he is about to respond he stops, and decides to use this opportunity as something to get close to her.
"Oh yeah totally, I definitely like Chelsea." He replies with a forced smile.
"Well too bad I'm not helping, goodnight Nathan." She says not wanting to get involved in others business. She turns around ready to go back inside.
"Danny, wait." He says and runs besides her.
With a low amount of confidence he leans down and looks straight in her eyes then at her smooth lips. He breathing stops, and the girl is now dazed. He leans down farther and closes his eyes. The girl snaps out her daze and pulls back. She slaps the boy and runs inside her house shutting the door behind her.
"Ow, what the fuck?" The boy says feeling his anger rise. "No." He says forcing himself to remain calm.
He races into his room and swings his night drawer open. With quick shaky hands he searches for a orange pill tube. When he finds it, he opens it and pops a pill into his mouth and swallows dry. At that moment his mother walks in.
"Oh you are taking your pills again? Good your therapist said your anger problems have gotten worse over the years, we figured you stop taking them." His mother says taking a seat next to him on his bed.
"Mom what do you want?" He says with a hint of irritation.
"Nothing dear I saw you outside with Danny, is everything okay?" She asks.
The boy freezes. "How much did you see?" He asks.
"Not much, I'm not nosy son. I know to give you privacy, so as curious as I am I will not ask what you two were talking about." She states smiling.
"We were just talking about a English project we are partners for. We will be working on it outside of school, so don't count on me coming home right after school." He says placing his pills back into his drawer.
"Oh well I'm sure you guys won't get anything done Sunday. She is leaving out of town to see her little sister." She replies.
"She has a little sister? Mom I've been meaning to ask what is the deal with Danny anyways? Why is she living with the Collins?"
"Well you see Danny and her younger sister were placed into foster care at a young age. Now the Collins found Danny at the cafe near the city hall crying and asked her what was wrong. She told them how she was in an abusive foster home with alcoholics and wanted to be with her sister. The Collins then took the roll of fostering her and even plan to adopt her. So yeah Danny has had a bumpy road, but the Collins plan to show her a better life. They are such lovely people." She gushes admiring the Collins' kindness.
The boy frowns. He had not know this about Danny he always thought she had came from a happy family and came to visit the Collins as relatives. Now lots of guilt piled on the boy's shoulders tugging a slight frown on his lips. Here he had a happy family growing up, until recently, and still thought his life was worse than others around him. When the only true family the girl had was her little sister, but yet they were forced away from each other.
"What about her sister are they going to adopt her too?" He asks.
"It's not that easy. The family she is with also want to adopt her, so there is court dates scheduled to see who will get little Kayla." She says shaking her head.
The boy feels a sudden rush of sadness and sleepiness. "Mom, I feel tired now."
"Oh right it's almost 9pm, I'll let you sleep. I guess I'll head to my lonely room." She says standing up. The boy frowns his mother has been down since she saw told about her husband's affair and she seeked comfort in long laps and lots of wine.
"Mom," the boy sighs,"I glad you're my mother. I love you."
He stands up and hugs his mom who fights back her tears, "I love you too honey."
