My suspension was now over, they were the longest three days of my life. I know staying home doesn't sound all that hard but I constantly had Mike, Gina and Tracy on my back. Plus I had no other kids to talk to all day. Anyway this morning I had a 'back to school' meeting. I was going to be on report so they could keep an eye on me.

I had already been to Maths and got a 1 which was the lowest unless you got chucked out of class. My mouth always seemed to engage before my brain which was going to make this a lot harder than it should be, but then I guess if it was easy then I wouldn't have got suspended and currently be on report.

"Finally It's the end of the day." I say as we start packing up after our r.e class.

"Teags we still have one more lesson left." Jody tells me.

"Oh god, is it at least one I like?" I questioned.

"You don't like any of them." she fires back.

"Funny one, I like English."

"Yeah we had double English this morning."

"So is that a no I am not going to like it."

"No your not, we have French."

"Well this might as well go in the bin then." I say throwing my report in the bin as we left the classroom. I had been trying really hard but I just knew that this was not going to go well.

"No, It's not." she tries to act positive as we walk to class.

"Jodes there is no way I am getting even a 1 on the piece of paper. You do remember he is the whole reason I got suspended in the first place. I will get myself into trouble." I tell her.

"Well I'm going to be there to get you out of trouble, hopefully before you get into it." she tells me.

"that's a suicide mission." I laughed but she was clearly determined.

We walked into the lesson, Jody placed my report down on Mr Goodwin's desk and we both took a seat at the back of class. Every time I tried to interject with a smart comment or back chat I got an elbow in the ribs from Jody.

We left the room 40 minutes later and my ribs were aching. Jody grabbed my hand and we ran out of school as though I was some sort of ticking time bomb that was about to explode which to be fair I did do.

"Well the was the worst lesson of my life. You don't know how hard it was to stay silent for that whole lesson. I had no idea what was going on for most of it and he's such a twat." I moaned.

Jody laughed a little at my rant and then we started walking home.

"God, he only gave me a 2 for that. I so deserved at least a 4." I moaned noticing the mark I had on my report.

Once we got home Mike collared me and asked for my report. He wasn't happy about the 2 that I got in french but was about the 4 that I got in English this morning so at least it balanced out and wasn't a terrible day all round.
