It was a nice summers day so I had decided to go out and read in the garden. There was a few people playing a game of football but as long as I went towards the back of the garden it shouldn't be a problem. There was a small secluded area right at the back so I picked up a book from my shelf and made my way down there.

"Hey Jodes, I'm just reading." I said thinking it was my best friend who was trying to navigate her way through the bushes to where I was sat. 

"It's not Jody." I hear an all to familiar voice tell me.

"You...You shouldn't even be here." I grumble not even taking my eyes of my book since I didn't want to look at him. 

"Look, I'm sorry about what happened Teags. I didn't mean for any of it to turn out like that." He tells me.

"I don't care about your excuses Harley. You could be arrested for even being here so I think you better go."

"I'm not going anywhere without you." he replies grabbing hold of my arm.

"Let go off me." I argue trying to wriggle free from his grip.

"I said I am not going anywhere without you and I meant it. Stop making a fuss." He tells me becoming angry.

I had to think, and I had to do it quickly. He wasn't going to let go of me so I was going to have to make him another way. He pulled me in close, I took the opportunity and lifted my knee hitting him in the nuts. He quickly pushed me causing me to fall onto the hard ground. I grumbled but I need to get away so I ran as fast as I could back to the house.

"Teagan?" I hear my name being called probably from the kid playing football but I ignored them.

"Teagen."Mike says stopping me in my tracks and looking me in the eye which caused the tears to finally start flowing. "What's happened?"

"H..Harley's in the garden at the back where I read." I told him. 

"Go to the quiet room, I'll sort it and come and see you when I am done." Mike tells me hurrying off outside.

I go into the quiet room and sit in the corner sobbing. 

"He's gone now." Mike tells me as he comes in a little while later.

He sits down next to me and takes my arm in his hand looking at the bruise that was starting to form. 

"He held it really tight and then when I kneed him and he pushed me to the floor. Now my side really hurts." I say lifting up my top a little to show him where it hurt.

"You have a big bruise, you probably fell on something. I will get you an ice pack." Mike tells me.

He came back a few minutes later with an ice pack and sat with me until I finally stopped sobbing. 

"You better go tend to the rabble." I mumbled a few seconds later as we could hear the house getting louder and louder with arguments.

"Yeah I probably should. I will come and check on you in a bit if I don't see you round the house." Mike tells me.

I took a few moments to compose myself in the quiet room before standing up to go and face the rest of them. I walked out and went to make my way upstairs to try and find Jody and Tyler. As I looked out of the window I could see Him out front with Tee. 

'It will just be Jonny trying to wind you up. She will be fine.' I told myself but I couldn't bring myself to walk away from the window and leave them out there together.
