It was getting late and I was on my way to bed. There was a knock on the door but Mo had already shouted out that he would get it so I carried on my way. I stopped in my tracks when I heard an unmistakeable voice, one that I hadn't heard in a long time but it couldn't be. Why now? Why at 11pm? I shook my head trying to get rid of the voice that clearly was all in my head.

"Where's Frank?" I heard the person at the door ask. 

"He is at the cinema with Jonny." I heard Mo reply. 

"How long will he be?"

"I don't know, I can get Mike for you."

"No, No it's fine I should be going." he replied and with that the shadowy figure turned around to leave but not before I had got a glimpse of his face from the stair window. There was now no doubt in my mind about who I had just seen. The anger and sadness built up inside of me, he didn't even want to see me. didn't even ask after me. It's fine I never wanted to see him anyway I told myself to try to feel better. 

"Jody are you awake?" I ask going into my best friends room. 

"Yeah, who was that knocking at the door?" She asks. 

"That's what I came to tell you, I swear it was Liam." I tell her. 

"What do you mean it was Liam? He hasn't come round since he left and it's a 11pm why would he be here now?" She asks.

"I don't know Jody but I know I saw him. I mean it was dark and he had his hood up but it was definitely Liam." I tell her. 

"Teags maybe that's just who you want it to be. There is no reason for it to be him. Just get some sleep." Jody tells me rolling over in her bed clearly finished with our conversation. 

I went into my room and got ready to go to bed but I couldn't sleep, most of the night I just tossed and turned thinking about what happened. What if Jody was right and I had made it up? What if I was right and it was him? Why now? Why only wanting Frank?

I must have finally drifted off at some point as I woke up around 10 the next morning. The house was loud as per usual which was probably why I woke up. I got dressed and left my room to go to the bathroom and have a shower.

"Look Frank, Can I just stay here for a while. You don't have to tell anyone." I heard the same voice as last night say but it was coming from Franks room. 

'It's all in your head. It's just what you want to happen.' I tried to tell myself as I walked past his room resisting the urge to burst in and carried on to the bathroom. Every now and then I swear I could hear his voice but I put it to the back of my mind and carried on. I got dressed and went down for breakfast only to get the shock of my life.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I questioned angrily walking towards the table. 

"Teagen!" Mike warns since he could tell I was angry.

"No, No he doesn't get to do this, He doesn't get to just turn up at the breakfast table like nothing ever happened." I argue. 

"Teags, lets get out of here." Jody says leading me towards the door.
