We got our room in the hotel and by the time we walked in, it was already 1am. Grayson dropped his bags and jumped onto the bed. I put my bag down and laid down beside him, my head on his chest. I could feel his heartbeat against my head.
*knock knock knock* Grayson groaned.
"I'll get it." He said. He got up and padded to the door, looking through the peep hole. I looked up to see a worried look on his face.
"OPEN UP BITCHES!" A too familiar voice said. Grayson ran to me and picked my up and grabbed my bag.
"Trust me" he whispered to me. He carried me into the bathroom and placed me carefully in the bathtub.
"I love you" he mouthed.
"I love you too." I said he walked out of the bathroom closing the door and leaving me in the cold,dark bathtub.
-Grayson-
I closed the bathroom door and walked to the door, revealing Devin in baggy sweatpants, a cast on his right wrist and a dirty t-shirt. To be honest- he looked like he'd been through hell and back again.
"Where's my girlfriend you dirty bastard?" He said through gritted teeth. I grabbed him by his collar and picked him up off the ground since I was about half a head taller.
"Look" I said angrily.
"She is my girlfriend now and you will stay away from her for all long as I can protect her." I dropped him down and went to go close the door, but his foot stopped it. He was about to sprint into our room but I stopped him. He was weak compared to me and weighed less than Lindsay, so I could pick him up with ease. Which I did. Then I threw him into the hallway and slammed the door.
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT YOU DIRTY ASS CUNT" Devin yelled. I walked into the bathroom to find Lindsay sobbing.
"Linds what happened??" I asked picking the poor thing up. She nuzzled into my chest getting both of our shirts wet, but I didn't care. I placed her down on the edge of the bed and kneeled in front of her.
"Baby, it's okay. I'll protect you for as long as I am on this earth. And even when I leave. I will be watching you from above" I grabbed her hands in mine.
"Devin won't get to you anymore, I promise baby girl." It hurts so much to watch someone you love cry and all you can do is cry with them. My tears rolled off my cheeks and onto the floor. Lindsay pulled her hands from mine, standing up. She pulled her shirt above her, revealing her black bra. There were large black and purple bruises, bigger than my hand, all over her stomach, chest, and back.
"Lindsay...." I said stunned.
"He-He abused and beaten me... And-and punished me... And-and....." Lindsay stuttered sobbing. I rubbed the dark spots with my thumb lightly in circular motions. She winced and I pulled away. I stumbled backwards crying.
"Lindsay.. Wh- how-" she walked over and put her arms around my neck. She buried her face in my neck and I buried mine in her strawberry smelling hair. I rubbed her back gently, and she some how managed to come closer.
"To the farthest Galaxy and back." She said.
"To the farthest Galaxy and back" I repeated.
