Okay, this chapter will be consisted of Gray's point of view only. I will switch up what character will have which chapter and throw in some occasional other ships in their own chapter. This story is mainly Gruvia, but that doesn't mean I won't add a chapter or three of other ships. The second main ship in this story, if you have not already noticed, is Gajevy/Gale. So with that being said let's get on the train (Sorry all fellow dragon slayers) and prepare for a an emotional ride.

Gray's P.O.V. 

    I cannot believe what happened yesterday. The day started off great, then it went shit, but almost ended in a good note. I mean sure, I got Juvia to calm down and think rationally and stay in contact with me and Gajeel after whatever Angel threatened her with. Angel. That names puts a sour taste in my mouth, like a bootleg sour patch. She is sour, death, and stays. I thought I got rid her last month after the incident she pulled when we were dating. Yes, I dated Angel and to be honest it was the worse six months of my life. She was so different when we were alone that I thought she had a personal disorder or maybe just simply putting up a front to protect herself from others. But I was wrong she is just bat-sh*t, excuse my language, crazy.

   When I did find the courage to break-up with her Lucy came and I liked her a bit. Even though I liked her I saw Natsu and her acted together and I knew it wasn't going to happen, they were too compatible for one another. When I finally got over her Juvia came into the picture and to say I liked her right away would be a lie. I didn't like her right away per say, but the day I met her while she was in pool and I was playing basketball events happened and let's just say that was how I grew a father interest in her. This is how my day went down when I met Juvia.

    I woke up and started my morning routine of showering and going to wake up my Dad. I went into my Dad's room with a cup of ice and put them in his shirt. I walked out the room with the sounds of "Cold! COld!" and the crunching of ice. I went into the kitchen and ate my breakfast before walking out the door after hollering to my Dad goodbye. 

    I went into my car and drove to school in a timely manner and watched as my Pyro best frenemie, Natsu, flipped onto the curb and put his hands in front of his face as his scarf covered his mouth and nose. He looked around and spotted me before doing weird ninja poses and flips. "Hey Stripper." 

"Hey, Nat- wait. What did you call me?!!" 

"I called you a Stripper, Stripper." 

"Shut-up Fire Breath and what are you doing?"

 "I'm a ninja, duh."

"Yeah, but why?"

"I was going to scare Lucy, but I didn't know where she was so now I have sneak around to search for her." 

   I looked at him like he was stupid, even though he was just not entirely. He had the tendency to say stupid things but he did know how to help and take care of friends and family. If I ever need any help Natsu would be the guy I would ask if I was in a situation I needed back up on. I had his back the same way just controlled my emotions better than he does. I walk away shaking my head as he hid behind trees, lockers, and people as we walked into the building. 

   I went to my daily classes barely waiting before my gym period would come up. I had a lot of school paper stress and I would love to dribble it off. I went into the locker room and changed into my gym clothes and walked out. I bumped into a girl with blue hair as I walked into gym and apologized as I was asking if she was okay afterword. I walked her to her down the hall and told her where the pool was before getting back into the gym and started playing basketball with Natsu. 

   "So, what's up with the blue chick." I was going to tell him that she has a name, but I didn't even remember if she had said it or not.

"I don't know she might be a new student because I never seen her around before." I said as I dribbled passed him only for him to steal the ball and continue talking. 

"Why don't you ask her out? She seems like she could use a friend or more than that." He said with his eyebrows gesturing up and down. I stopped crouching and stared at him for a second before trying to get the ball away from him as he crossed me and dunked it. 

  "Why should I?"

"So you can get back to the way you were. Angel was stupid and evil when she did that crap and I think you deserve better. Try that blue chick on for size and enjoy yourself before denying." And with that we continued or game of basketball until we were out of breath and the girls were watching.

  I saw Juvia sitting down and watching us play. I walked over to her after giving Natsu a bye as he walked toward Lucy. He hugged and kissed her forehead as they sat on the bleachers and talked to one another. I sat next to her and spoke to her for a while before it was time to go. I noticed that she had one of the most beautiful shaded eyes, like the color of the sea. When we talked earlier I wanted to learn a little more about her and I did. 

   The day went on and I went home. To meet up with my family and sleep. Peaceful no very eventful besides meeting Juvia.

   I was laying on my bed staring at the ceiling thinking of how I wanted to injure Angel. I am still thanking Natsu for exposing her on her actions, that was the best moment of my life. He told me about her 'activities' when we were together and honestly I laughed. I just laughed broke up with her and walked left the scene. Natsu being Natsu stayed and laughed as Lucy insulted her continuously.  I will be sure to make sure that Juvia knows she is wanted and that she is not a bother. I promise. 

   I got up and went down stairs and into the kitchen. I looked around the room and grabbed some food and ate it before going into the living and watching a movie. I played Suicide Squad and fell asleep before finishing it or getting my favorite parts. My conscious slipped into the dream state and let my imagination take off.

   I woke up to water being splashed on to my face. As I opened my eyes I saw my cousin Lyon splashing water on my face. I rolled my eyes and looked at him as I sat up with a sigh. He was staring at me with a grin and I really didn't want to hear anything from him right because he clearly didn't get the memo that I liked sleeping. He sat down next and turned off the tv and started drinking the cup of juice that was, coming from the unmelted ice, just recently placed on the table. He took a gulp of the contents before putting back down and started the conversation. 

   "So, I met this gorgeous girl today and she had bluest eyes that I thought I was staring into the open sky. She has wavy hair that reminded me of waves at the beach going down her back." His words reminded me of Juvia's hair, but her eyes are darker more like the ocean blue on a no cloud day. I hope he isn't going to make her come to him with his 'flirtatious' lines from the heart again. The last time that happened he ended up with a broken nose and a sore pride after hearing my on going laughs for a week. 

    "Here is a picture of my beautiful goddess."

  "Wait. You're dating her already? Since whe-" He pulled out his phone and showed me Juvia on his screen with a smile his face. I refuse to believe that is the same girl he talking about because he will be named color blind from saying light blue eyes. The photo of her was a look of shock and a lightly brushed blush on her cheeks and it tinge of sweat on the side of her face. She looked lovely and seeing but the light I can tell why he thought light blue, her eyes mirrored the sky. 

    "You cannot have her." 

   "WHAT!! Yes, I can and I saw her first. Finders keepers losers weepers slowpoke." 

     "What are you five? I saw her first because she is in the same school as me and I have known her longer than you. Besides she is not an object and if she was she would clearly be mine. Now get out of my house so I can go back to sleep."

   "I refuse to lose her to the likes of Gray. I will have my blue goddess and she will love me like I love her."

    "You don' t even know her name. So how exactly will she be yours?" I said humorously. 

     "It's called love at first sight and the formalities will surely come later."

   "Wow. Okay, we'll see if she will take you. When you fail I will laugh at you so hard in your face and will not let you live this down."

   "So it's a bet?" He offered his hand to me to shake. I shook my head and pushed his hand down. I am not falling for that crap trap. That bet is just asking for a double ended sword so if I when I still get killed for being an ass and making a bet on her. 

   "No, I am not that stupid. I will not bet on her like that. She is not a trophy. And if you do succeed you know how angry the will make her to hear that you made a bet on her like an object and not a person?" He nodded his head and stood up understanding where I am coming from. He should seeing as he went down that road before already. An man was it bad, he came over with milkshake all over himself claiming I was the closets relative to him and size to wash up. I walked him out and before he could say anymore words to prevent my sleep I slammed it shut. 

    I sighed and walked into the living room and cleaned up before going up stairs and taking a shower. I played on my bed in boxers and decided to text Juvia. It was 6pm she should be off of work by now.  

'Hey Juvia'

'Hey, Gray-sama. What are you doing?'

'Nothing much just texting you and laying down. Pretty bored. And you?'

'Juvia is just laying down on her bed texting Gray-sama.'

'I wanted to know Juvia did you meet anyone new today?'

'Yes, Juvia did and the person was really strange. Smiled at Juvia and said that she was the love of his life.'

'Wow'

'Then he took a picture of Juvia and walked away squealing saying he can't wait to make his cousin jealous about not still having a girlfriend.'

Wow I thought he was childish before this just takes the cake.

'So Juvia are you doing anything this weekend?'

'No, why?'

'I just wanted to take you on a date sometime this weekend.'

This is so embarrassing. I cannot believe that I am doing over the phone.... wait I am doing this over the phone...... The phone. I need to do this right and make it better I don't want to be like her last boyfriend and make it terrible and get in the category of her last boyfriend. That anal I want to end him and hang in front of Jose's door so he knows that he is gong to be the next one on my list. 

'No Juvia I will talk to you tomorrow forget what I just typed okay...okay. Bye.'

'Okay, bye?'

I turned off my phone and started planning on what I was going to do to ask her out. I made moves to address her the best way possible and make her feel like the queen she is. She will be able to smile about the times she dated someone if I can help and hopefully we won't have a ton of bumps in the road. Welp that's all folks. See y'all later fandom. Gray out.
