"When I Write"

All these feelings are bottled up inside,

They seem to go up and down like the tide.

I could just explode, but instead my time I will bide.

I will try to release a little at a time,

So that I don't do something crazy like a crime.

I will release a little at a time, until it feels like I can fly.

You see, writing is a necessity for me,

Sometimes it confuses things, but other times it fills me with glee.

Writing helps me so much, writing is my key.

When I write, reality gets burred away,

And then I feel relieved for the rest of the day.

I would be rich, if with my writings, I could pay.

When I write, I feel an overwhelming calmness,

When I write I am filled with unspeakable bliss.

When I write, I wave goodbye to stress I will not miss.

Maybe soon though I can write for his glory,

So all of the nations will know his story.

If I do it wrong though, I feel like I am in misery,

And I am tempted as much as an alcoholic in a brewery.
