Natayshia's POV.

I woke up this morning feeling so happy; I was finally an Alpha! Trent became Beta last night as well- while the Alpha is given their position at the beginning of the night, in tradition the beta is made at the end of the night. Knowing he will always be there to help me with every and anything is such a relief, I was surly going to need my best friend now more than ever.

Last night when Kelner showed up was like a dream come true, I felt his attentive gaze on me throughout the whole night. I have never felt more beautiful then when I looked into his eyes and could see how happy he was to be with me. Now all that needs to happen next is for him to become Alpha and everything will just be perfect. I've never felt more sure of myself then right now.

I hear footsteps moving towards my door and already know by the strut who it is. Two seconds later Trent walks into my bedroom "get your lazy butt out of bed right now. Don't tell me you just woke up? We have things to do! You better not be already chucking your duties?!" He grabs a pillow that somehow found its way to the end of my bed and throws it at me, I grunt as it hits me in the face. "Alright, alright, I'm getting up! Anyway what are you talking about? It's seven in the morning, the time I've always gotten up along with my father." He rolls his eyes at me, "Well I thought for your first day as Alpha you would be up much earlier but I guess not." I chuckle at him and stretch as I answer "nope, I'm getting up at the time I always do. Another thing, what are you doing in my room? I know we've done this before but I don't think Kelner would be happy to find you in my room. So get the hell out!"

I laugh as I throw the pillow back at him with all my strength, he squeals like a little girl as it knocks his head back and makes him stumble. "Good point, I'm out of here! And- ow...did you forget you would get stronger once you became Alpha? I think my nose is going to bruise." As he says that his nose begins to bleed and I quickly get up and run to the bathroom to grab some toilet paper to stop the flow of blood. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I did forget...shoot, well I better be more careful these next few day until I get used to the extra strength I have.

I press the toilet paper to his nose and hold the arch of his nose lightly so I don't accidentally make it worse, I drag Trent to my bed and sit him down. As I stand there waiting for the blood to stop and occasionally switching the bloodied toilet paper for a new wad, I think about how all this started with a pillow. I begin to laugh really hard as the hilarity of it all hits me "are you sure you just don't have a weak nose? You...got a...nosebleed...from getting...hit... with...a pillow!" I laugh between words as I speak. Trent frowns and just as he opens his mouth to speak, we hear from the direction of the door a deep angry voice "what is Trent doing in your room, and on your bed?"

We both look at the door quickly to see Kelner standing there. I'm sure if I could see myself I would have a look of surprise and from what I can see in the corner of my eye, Trent's face is slightly scared. Kelner's stands there with a disapproving face but as I lock eyes with him I see a gleam of laughter, his lips twitch from trying to contain the cracking of a smile. I burst out laughing and I see Trent look at me as if I've gone insane and at that moment Kelner bursts out laughing also. Both of us are in stitches leaving Trent staring at us confused with his hand holding the tissue to his nose.

Kelner stops laughing first and steps further into my room "what happened? I assume you gave Trent the bloody nose?" I press my lips together trying to hold in my chuckles as I turn to answer him "yup! I forgot I gained a whole lot of strength when I became Alpha so when he came to wake me up extra early I threw a pillow at him, and well...I'm sure you can put together the rest." Kelner nods and turns to Trent, "you got a nose bleed from a pillow?" Trent's face scrunches in annoyance "Hey, I wasn't expecting her to throw that hard! She wasn't exactly that much stronger than me before. Now as Alpha she's got quite a bit more strength then I remember."

Kelner nods his head in understanding, "I'll give you that. I'm sure it will take her about a week until she becomes accustom to handling it." His eyes connect with mine and I see a cheerful shine in his eyes, "anyway I came here to walk down with you to breakfast. Care to join me, my lady?" He walks over, bows to me and displays the crook of his elbow.

"I would love to, your grace" I grab onto it and we walk to the door, but as we get close we are stopped by Trent's words "Nattie, don't you think you should change before going downstairs? I don't think a tank top and bootie shorts are exactly appropriate for a new Alpha to present to her pack." Kelner and I stop before opening my door, we both look down at my outfit and before he can say anything- which I know he was going to because of the deep frown on his face- I quickly moved to my walk-in closet and change into something more presentable. I choose a dark pair of skinny jeans and a simple blue top, as Kelner's eyes connected with mine he stands up with approval and together we exit my room with Trent walking ahead of us.

Well, it's time to show the world what Alpha Natayshia is made of. Let's just hope I don't make too many mistakes a long the way.

Well, my sweets. I hope this chapter is okay, I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with it but I wanted a funny chapter between Trent and Natayshia again with Kelner in it too. Kelner and his disapproving Alpha face too haha.
