Natayshia's (Na-tay-see-ya) POV.

I shiver against him as his words register in my mind. Any punishment from him I know must be good. I had no idea running from him would bring out this reaction from him or myself. When did I start acting like this? I've never been the girl to tease a man, never in my life have a done this to anyone. Not that I'm complaining, I had so much fun running from him and knowing he was chasing me. The thrill of it would have been enough for me but that kiss we just shared. Wow, just wow. I've heard people in my pack talk about what being with your mate feels like but never did I imagine it would feel like that. My whole body is tingling with shocks because his body is pressed entirely against mine.

"What is your name beautiful?" I hear him ask me.

For a couple seconds I'm unable to answer with my mind to clouded with thoughts of him. "Natayshia Lincole, future Alpha of the Silver Claw Pack." I see a look of shock register on his face as I say my name.

"You're the future Alpha of the Silver Claw Pack? I didn't know it was you. Your father at Wolf Council meetings only mentioned Nat was talking over for him but I never thought it was a woman."

I frown at his words, "Do you have a problem with a female Alpha?"

"Oh no! Sorry I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I just never really thought too much of what your dad said until now. I have no problem with an Alpha being a female. It just shows how strong you are and I actually find it kind of sexy." he says as he moves his head to my neck and rubs his nose against the spot where his mark will be.

With that I try and collect my thoughts to answer him as I try to not think of how good it feels to have him touching the spot where my mark will be. "Oh...well...then maybe we can go to my pack house and talk some things out." I push him away from me and mind link Trent to come around to my side. He has been standing at his side of the car watching us the whole time, awkward!!

As Trent moves towards me I hear a growl come from Kelner, if I remember correctly from when his mother said his name. I slap him lightly on the shoulder and push him further from me, I can tell by the look on his face that he is not happy about that. Even more so when I move further away and closer to Trent, but I ignore it.

"Kelner, let me introduce to you my future Beta and life-long best friend Trent Matthews." I say as I rest my hand on Trent's shoulder.

I see a look of shock and relief pass over my mates face as he realizes his mistake. "Nice to meet you Trent," he says as he raises his hand for Trent to shake "and I'm sorry for my bad behaviour in the theatre. It appears I am the jealous type when it comes to my mate. I didn't think to find out the background story first."

Trent looks at him and his hand for a little before taking it in his grasp, "It's alright Alpha Kelner. I'd probably get just as upset if someone did the same with my mate. But I feel I should warn you, what you saw today was exactly how my friendship with Nattie is. Knowing how stubborn she can be if you try to tell her to change something I'd suggest you get used to us, we aren't going to change and you'll only push her further away from you if you do. I'm letting you know now that you can trust me and her. We may act a certain way together but you have no reason to fear. She has been my best friend since we were kids. I would never do anything to jeopardize her happiness and that includes you."

Kelner's face breaks into a full-out grin, I almost swoon at how handsome he looks when he smiles like that. "Thank you for your reassurances Trent. From listening to what you have to say, it makes me know I can trust you. I will work on my jealousy and will never allow it to come between myself and my mate or your friendship with her."

I am so happy that he has accepted my relationship with Trent that I quickly move over and throw my arms around him and bring his lips down to mine for a kiss. Ever since we were children I always worried my mate would not accept Trent in my life but hearing those words made my fears wash away completely. I break us apart and give Kelner my biggest smile as he opens his eyes to look at me. I never noticed he had closed them when I kissed him. He smiles my already favourite smile and grabs my hand.

"I suppose I should formerly introduce you to my mother and sister. Then we can get headed to your pack and then mine so we can introduce each other to them."

I nod my head in response and we all head in the direction of the cinema to where we can see his mother and sister waiting for us.

When we walk inside his mother and sister rush over to us and grab me in a tight hug. "Oh my gosh! My brother has finally found his mate! It's about time, I thought you would never find her and you would be single forever!"
I look up at Kelner to see him roll his eyes, "Please ignore my sister, she is forever the drama queen." I giggle and slap his arm lightly, "Don't be mean Kelner, she's just excited that you finally found me and wouldn't be forever alone. I mean you are getting pretty old."

I see him frown, "I'm almost twenty five, I wouldn't call that old at all!", he then turns and whispers in my ear "I can also prove to you I'm not that old. I have the longest stamina you'll ever find."

I choke on my own saliva at his words and try and find my voice again as a blush makes itself known on my cheeks. I turn to look at the others to see they have a pretty good idea of what is making me blush.

"Anyway, let me introduce myself. My name is Natayshia Lincole and this is my future Beta Trent Matthews. We are from the Silver Claw Pack."

I see both Kelner's mother and his sister's face as they realize that I'm going to be future Alpha of my pack. They don't answer right away so Kelner clears his throat and makes the introductions for them, "This is my mother Lucinda and my sister Rahlia. We are from the Red Wolf Pack."

I remember hearing about their pack and being told that they are one of the strongest packs in Canada next to mine. Okay so I'm mated to the Alpha of a strong pack, good to know. My father will be pleased to hear of this, he likes having allies to call on when there is a time of need.
