"Sometime this week, we'll be doing something special. We'll be combining with Dusk Light Pack," Jiyeong announces and half of the class cheers while the other half groans.

"Heard that, Taehyung? We're combining with the pack Jeongguk is in, even the instructor ships it." Jimin wiggles his eyebrows after finishing his sentence and I glare at him pointedly. "Do you want to die?"

"Hey, I'm older than you, you should respect me!" He shouts and Jiyeong shoots us a dirty glare that shuts both Jimin and me up.

"See you got us into trouble, prick," I scold and Jimin rolls his eyes.

"Jimin and Taehyung, can the both of you pay attention to what I'm about to say?" Jiyeong snaps and I cower in fear before nodding my head. He shakes his head before continuing to explain to our class.

"As I was saying, this programme will allow us to strengthen our pack and learn how to defend ourselves thanks to Dusk Light Pack and we will be assigning the werewolf we have chosen to pair up with the alpha of Dusk Light," Jiyeong explains and Hyungsik raises his hand up.

"Why do we need to pair up with him?" He asks curiously and arches an eyebrow.

"Because Hyungsik, this programme will strengthen our pack. It will also improve the fighting skills of the chosen werewolf . . ." Jiyeong pauses and his eyes scans the crowd, and they land on me.

Jiyeong uses his index finger and points to himself and our other coach, Jihyun. "Jihyun and I have already chose the werewolf that will be pairing up with the alpha of Dusk Light Pack. And that werewolf will be, Kim Taehyung."

"Out of all people, it had to be me." I bang my head on my study desk. Training ended hours ago but I still couldn't stop complaining.

"Shut up, I know you're secretly happy." Jimin throws a chip towards me. I grumble in disgust when it lands on the crown of my head, and with a glare, I ask him. "Where's your mate?"

"Oh, Yoongi? He's at his own pack house," Jimin mumbles inaudibly as he stuffs his mouth with a handful of chips.

"Oh and do you know that Jeongguk is very protective over Yoongi?" Jimin asks and my heart beat accelerates when Jeongguk's name slips out of Jimin's mouth.

"Is hearing Jeongguk's name affecting you?" Jimin asks with a hint of mischief in his voice, and wiggles his eyebrows. "No."

"Oh and Yoongi told me Jeongguk gets super protective when he comes to his girlfriend, but don't you find it weird that he didn't use his alpha voice on you, hm?" Jimin asks me. A weight drops in my stomach when Jimin told me that Jeongguk is protective of his girlfriend.

"But don't be too disappointed, she's not his mate," Jimin says and my heart beat accelerates.

Ding dong!

The sound of the doorbell chimes. Jimin looks at me before saying, "Did you invite anyone over?"

"No," I say with a frown. Jimin places his bag of chips on the bed and pushes me out of my room.

"Go be a good doggy and get the door," He demands before slapping my room door right in my face. And with a grumble, I walk over to the front door to open it.

"Oh hey Yoongi," I greet Yoongi when I see him standing behind outside of my house. His face wears a placid smile.

"Must've been Jimin who told him your address," My wolf says and I mumble a duh. A well-built figure steps out from behind Yoongi, and I have to squint my eyes in concentration to the person's face as the glaring noonday sun outlines only his body but not his face.

My eyes widens when I see the person's face clearly.

"Jeon Jeongguk?"
