Night comes, Jeongguk decides to sleep with me in my small hut.
His excuse was—there might be harmful and dangerous wild animals here, so I have to stay with you for the night—and even though I find his excuse stupid, I don't stop him. Maybe some company tonight might keep the nightmares away.
"Since there's only one bed, I'll take the floor and you can take the bed. This is your hut after all," Jeongguk says while wrapping himself inside the thick blanket I gave him earlier.
"We can sleep together," I blurt out.
Jeongguk looks at me weirdly, and an awkward silence fills the room. I grunt when I realise how wrong that sounded, and say, "W-what I meant is, we can . . . y-you know . . . share the bed. The both of us are guys anyways, it's n-not a big deal." A nervous chuckle slips past my lip. Jeongguk watches me stutter with an amused expression.
"BUT YOU'RE LIKE A WOMAN! YOU HAVE BLOOD FLOWING OUT OF YOUR PRIVATE HOLE EVERY MONTH. YOU'RE AN OMEAGA, TAEHYUNG! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT?" My wolf screeches painfully.
"Shut up," I tell my wolf.
"Okay then." Jeongguk scrambles to his feet and crawls under the sheets, beside me. His face is so close to mine, and the gap between us is so small—five inches at most— and I consider closing the gap. I feel myself moving closer and closer, it's like I've lost complete control of my body.
"Taehyung, your mind is going astray," My wolf interrupts, stopping me from moving forward.
I clear my throat and blow out the small candle. My heart slams against my rib cage harshly at the close proximity between Jeongguk and my body. "Goodnight," I say, and turn my back towards Jeongguk.
"Goodnight, Taehyung. Sleep tight."

Warm breath tickling my neck wakes me up.
"No nightmares," I tell myself with a tight smile.
"Good morning," A voice from behind says, scaring me. I let out a screech and push myself off Jeongguk, causing me to tumble to the floor.
"Ouch," I grunt in pain when I land on my tailbone. Jeongguk looks at me in amazement, and holds out his hand to pull me to my feet.
"You're going to have to apologise to Namjoon today," He scolds me sternly, making me feel like a child being reprimanded by his father.
"Fine," I say childishly, and fold my arms with a pout on my face. A hearty chuckle echoes in my hut, and my heart flutters at how nice it sounded. Jeongguk ruffles my hair, and comments, "I've never seen you act this cute before."
He's right, I've never acted this way towards anyone else except Jimin and Namjoon. My body shudders. I've only known Jeongguk for less than a month, but he's already melting the four walls I've built since young. I want to retort back, but I don't. Instead I let out a giggle. "Jeongguk?"
"Yeah?" He says while looking at me weirdly.
"Your breath stinks!" I exclaim with a smile on my face.
Maybe I should get closer with Jeongguk, because everytime I'm with him, it eases me.
Instead of putting on an angry face, Jeongguk smirks, and whispers, "I'm glad you're feeling comfortable around me."
√a.n.
Here's a boring filler for y'all. Don't kill me, I just woke up, so this chapter is pretty shitty.
I'm actually thinking of deleting my books because I've got no more motivation for them.
Edit: I posted this chapter so many times but it doesn't come up. Wattpad and I need to talk over tea.
