Takumi
A single cherry tree blossom bloomed on the almost dead tree as spring was coming back to the land of Hosido.
You woke up to the winter smell along with Jakob waking you up for the day. You rubbed your eyes as you put on your gear and when outside.
It was chilly as you put on a cloak to cover yourself with. You heard the sound of whistling in the wind as it came from the forest outside the castle.
You hesitate, but brought along Yato in case as you entered the dark forest. The smell of tree filled your nose as it woke your sore and cut body up.
The sound of whistling as louder you as looked ahead from all the trees to find your younger brother, Takumi, shooting arrows into a tree.
You watched as his calluses tumb and fingers held the green arrow as it appeared when he touched the bow. He pulled back the arrow, as he let it go and spilt the other arrow in the tree in a perfect spilt.
You were amazed and unhid yourself from the trees, "Wow Takumi. I didn't think a shot like that could be done!"
Takumi spun around and faced you. His face looked at you with disgust as his voice held anger, "Oh, It's just the nohrian scum."
You winced at the nickname he gave you, "H-hey. I may I lived my life at Nohr, but I chose Hosido over my other family."
"HA!" Takumi laughed, "I still don't trust you. The others might, but I can't trust a stranger who just came from out of the woods"
"I just heard you practicing and though I would come by to see."
"Oh really? I'm surprised you didn't try to kill me with my back turned to you. Mother killer."
Guilt and agony stabbed at your heart as an image of mother flashed across your vision, "T-Takumi..." Your voice cracked with sadness.
"And don't even speak my name, I don't want a nohrian scum speaking it."
Takumi stormed out of the way as your heart was being ripped into two at Takumi's words of pain...
*A week later*
You did your best to avoid Takumi as you didn't want your heart to be hurt. Ryoma and Takumi himself notice you weren't getting near him or talking to him like you did before.
Ryoma tried to talk it out with you what happened, but you wouldn't and couldn't tell him.
You looked down at the battle ground as you were saving a village over run with Faceless.
You slashes at them with no effort at all. In less than an hour all the Faceless were cut down.
"Alright everyone! I think we're good!"
Everyone cheered as the glowing light started taking them back to the castle.
You sighed and started to go into the blue light, until a roar ringed through your ear as a Faceless appeared out of nowhere.
You screamed in pain as it took half your health points away from hitting your back. You didn't have time to react to doge the next attack as your heart stopped beating as each second the fist seemed to get closer.
"Nope!"
Someone pushed you out of the way in time as you saw it too be Takumi. Your eyes couldn't believe it as he shoot the Faceless down.
Takumi ran to you as he helped you up, "Are you okay?!"
You nodded your head a no as the Faceless's power hurt your back, "N-no! I'm b-bleeding pretty badly..."
Takumi stripped off your back gear as one look at your backside made his heart stop in horror at the bloody bruise already forming on your back.
"H-hold on! I'll get Sakura to heal you!"
Takumi picked you up and as he ran you into the light. You blacked out by the time he entered into it...

"Hey... wake up..."
A voice called out for you as it seemed to be familiar. You opened your eyes to Takumi and Jakob in your room.
Jakob gasped in relief as he dabbed your forehead, "My lady! Thank goodness you're awake!"
You sighed in relief as the washcloth felt all too good, "A-awake...? How long was I out?"
"About a week." Takumi said as he sat next to you as you laid down on the bed as he was sitting on a chair.
"A-a week?!"
Takumi nodded as he looked up at Jakob as he left the room in silence.
"Yeah. The wound almost took your life if I didn't bring you to Sakura in time."
"Wow... thanks Takumi..."
Takumi looked at you with surprise hazel eyes, "Why are you thanking me? I was being a jerk to you and almost got you killed because I was trying to accept the fact your here to help us, not fight against us."
You shook your head, "N-no... I'm just glad you were near me or I would have ended up dead..."
Takumi sighed, "Yeah you're lucky. I can't believe you were stupid enough to leave as the last one."
"S-sorry..."
"Don't be sorry."
Takumi got up from his chair as he turn the handle half way before stopping. He sighed he looked at you with an unexpressive face, "Look I'm sorry about being rude too you... like right now... maybe I can give you bow and arrow lessons to make it up."
For the first time in weeks, you smiled, "I would love that."
Takumi blushed as he turned his back to you, "Stupid idiot. I'm going to be a hard teacher too."
He closed the door as Jakob came in after to help heal you up.
*year later*
You were starting to get good with a bow and arrow as Takumi's learning help you quickly become an expert.
Takumi said as he was going to meet you in the spot in the woods were you practice. To pass time you shoot arrows one by one as they hit the tree perfectly.
You were about to shoot an arrow before a voice stopped you, "I see my training has been working out."
You turned to find Takumi smiling gently at you. You returned the smile back as he walked up to you in an even pace.
"Thank you for waiting to meet me out here." He said
You nodded as you put away your arrows, "Yeah. I just wanted to see what it was as we haven't been out here for a while since my last practice."
"I see, time does go by fast... then... if it does... maybe I should tell you now."
You tilted your head to the side, "Tell me what?"
Takumi blushed as he looked up at you as he got nearer and nearer, "Look (y/n). I like you, like you."
You blushed, knowing what that meant, "O-oh... but Takumi..."
"Wait!" He pulled out a letter as be handed it to you.
You eyed it before taking it and reading it over. Takumi and you weren't related. This shocked you as your heart beat could be heard inside your ear drum.
"W-what...?"
"I know this is a shock. But we aren't siblings! This means I can love you more than a sister!"
Takumi took your hands into his as they felt hard and rough from all the years of wars
He looked you into the eyes as he talked, "(y/n), when you chose Hosido over Nohr, I was speculating if you did this just to trick us. But after that Faceless attacking you I knew that wasn't the case."
He kneeled down on one knee as he took out a ring. The Hosido royal family jewel was inside as the ring held the patterns of cherry blossoms.
"If you were aiming for my heart, you've struck true. This was meant to be..."
You were at a loss for words as you let Takumi slide the ring on your ring finger. It shined beautifully in the Hosido morning light as it gleamed with Takumi's love.
"A-alright. I will marry and love you, Takumi."
Takumi smiled bright as he got up quickly and hugged you lovingly to his chest, "I promise to never hurt you." He pulled you back enough as your lips touched just an inch apart, "If I ever try, I wouldn't mind it if you killed me, my princess."
Before you could speak back his lips gently touched yours. It was perfect and sweet as you hummed and kiss him back as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
As the kiss ended, a cherry blossom fell from the blooming tree at the castle. Blessing a happy long life for the married couple.
