Some people write to dip their toe in a world completely different from their own.

But oftentimes I just want to disappear into the worlds I create.

Where everything is as I say it is.

Where everything makes sense.

Where things don't spiral out of control.

Where I am in control.

I never thought there would be anything worse than wanting to just disappear.

Then I realized that wanting to not exist in the first place is far worse.
