Miles unfold

Miles of danger

Danger to life

Love the one waiting

Love n' dance for joy

Joy of meeting

Joy of seeing

Seeing their mate

Seeing their young fly

Fly side by side

Fly for life

Life spent wandering

Life so wondrous

Wondrous when in sight

Flight to wander

Flight to leave

Leave land behind

Cold human hearts

Cold too cold to thaw

Thaw this icy land

Life free of strife

(A/N: This poem is inspired by my favourite bird The Wandering Albatross. I've never written a Blitz before, even when the Blitz style collection was up and running. It was a style I was too scared to try. But this competition has pushed me to try out quite a few new styles, and although Blitz was probably the one that daunted me the most, I enjoyed it immensely!)
