Leanne's POV

"Y-your.. your p-pregnant?" Micheal stutters after what felt like forever of just standing silently and I nod "about 3 months" I mumble and he doesn't say anything for a moment.

"You went to a doctor?" He asks and I shake my head "I did a test a few days ago" I mutter and again he goes silent.

"I'm sorry"

"For what?" He looks at me confused "You didn't do anything wrong" he says softly, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me close and I can hear him sniffling. "Am I really gonna be father?" He croaks wiping his tears and I nod and he leans forward kissing me softly. "Thank you" he say shakily onto my lip. "You have know idea how much this means to me" he croaks, pulling me back close to him again.

"Your not mad with me?"

"Of course not" he says softly. "Is that why you've been off lately? Because you thought I'd be upset? Baby you mean everything to me and we're gonna have a baby" he smiles "I'm gonna be a daddy!" He says excitedly.

Emma's POV

Leanne and Micheal have been in the office talking for a really long time and i'm standing by the reception desk waiting, unsure if I should have left Leanne alone with Micheal or not. I know I told her to tell him about Mary's confession tape, but she looked really nervous when I left and I feel really bad for not staying and giving her the moral support she needed.

I still don't get why it's taken her this long to say anything and I really don't understand why she's copied it on her ipod and been crying and listening to it all this time. I only heard Mary say those things once and it still send chills down my spine remembering every little detail Mary went it to and I didn't even know these people and I can't imagine what Leanne must be going through hearing that about her parents. She always talked about them when we were in the brothel and she was clearly close with them and loved them deeply which is why I don't understand why she's torturing herself listening over and over to every little detail of how they were murdered.

After a few more minutes go by I walk over to the office and as I'm about to knock the door opens. "I just came to check everything ok" I say softly. "Everything great!" Micheal smiles excitedly. "You have told him haven't you?" I turn to Leanne confused by his reaction. "She told me" Micheal replies for her. "I still can't believe we're gonna have a baby!" He says excitedly to Leanne and I look at her confused. "I'm just gonna make a few calls and get everbody together and will can tell them all the great news" he says going back into his office "we'll just be out here while we're waiting" I say and he nods. "Ok, I'll be really quick I promise" he says and pecks Leanne's lips then starts  dialling and I lead Leanne outside and over to where there's nobody around.

"You didn't tell him!?" I say in a hushed tones incase anyone hears us. "Well I can't tell him right now can I? You saw how happy he is"

"Are you really pregnant?"

"Of course I am!?" She frowned offended. "Why would I tell him that if I wasn't"

"As a diversion maybe? Because that's why you said it isn't it?"

"He would have found out I was pregnant eventually" she shrugs "I get that, but if you are pregnant then telling him that so you can change the subject isn't fare on him. This isn't gonna go away and it doesn't matter how many times you push it back and try and block it out because your gonna have to deal with it eventually"

"And I will just not today"

"Then when?"

"Soon, but for now please don't say anything? I really don't want this moment to be ruined" she says and I sigh heavily. As much as I want Leanne to tell Micheal and the police about Mary's confession. Finding out their going to be parents is a really special moment and even though I know she only told him so she didn't have to tell him about Mary, I agreed not to say anything because I don't want to ruin it for them.

Micheal's POV

After calling everybody and telling them to meet us at our house, I sit back in the chair for a moment taking it all in. Leanne's really pregnant with a real baby and I'm really gonna be a father this time and I know Leanne's telling the truth and she's not pretending like Lisa did. This is really happening.

I've been imaging for a long time what it would be like if me and her were to have a family, but I always imagined it would be a few years from now, but it's not it's here now and it's really happening. I'm gonna be a father and the woman I love more than anything and want to spend the rest of my life with is the one carrying my child.

Leanne's POV

Emma continues talking and finally Micheal comes out of the office. "Hey, you ready to go?" I smile walking over to him before Emma can say anymore to me.

"Yup. Everybody's gonna meet us at our place. Janet already knows what it's about, but I invited her anyway" he smiles. "Is that what you and Janet were doing in the bathroom on my birthday?" He asks and I nod. "She was there when I did the test"

"She wanted me to tell you then, but..."

"It's ok. I'm not mad" he cuts me off. "Like you said. You didn't know how I'd feel. It's not like we ever talked about kids. I wanted to, but to be honest I was worried you'd freak out and think in was going to fast" he smiles and I see Emma walking towards us. "We should get going. We don't wanna leave everyone waiting" I smile and he nods following behind me.

Once we arrive everybody Is already standing outside the house waiting for us "So what's all this about?" Joesph asks confused. "Lets go inside and we can talk better" Micheal says opening the door and everybody follows behind him.

"Leanne's pregant" Micheal blurts out as everybody's walking in the living room and everyone stops and and turns to us. "Do you just say what I think you did?" Kathrine asks and he nods. "Your pregnant?" Joesph turns to me and I nod, not saying anything "she's about 3 months" Micheal cuts in. "But, you said the two of you haven't been.. You know" Kathrine says confused "Well there was this one time after we came out of the hostpital and.."

"We don't need the details" Joesph cuts Micheal off. "Soo.. is this good news or?" Randy asks in unsure. "Of course it's good news! Their having a baby" Janet cuts in.

"Congratulations!" Randy then smiles giving us both a hug.

Micheal's POV

Everybody has mixed emotions about mine and Leanne's news and I'm still unsure how exactly my parents feel. I don't know if their shocked or pissed of with me or what, but their not yelling so that's a plus.

I'm in the kitchen making some drinks for my parents because they look like they really need one and Tito walks in.

"So your gonna be a daddy, huh?"

"Mhm. I still can't believe it myself" I smile. "You don't think it's a little soon to be thinking about babies and stuff?"

"I've been thinking about how great would be for us to have a family for awhile, but I always thought it would be years from now to be honest"

"But your happy about it?"

"Of course! I'm gonna get married and have a baby with the woman I love. What's not to be happy about?" I smile "So does this mean your gonna be proposing earlier than planned?"
"I can't do it now"

"Why not?" He frowns confused. "Because she's just told me she's pregnant. If I propose today then she's gonna think I'm just doing it because I have to and not because I love her. I'm gonna do it on her birthday like I planned"

"But, if you work out the dates then Leanne would be giving  birth a month before and.."

"Which is perfect because she won't be worried about going into labour on the day. I'll have to get her measurements for the dress, but I could just ask Janet to take her to the store and say it's for a party or something and..."

"Don't you think your jumping the gun a little?" He cuts me off. "How do you mean?" I frown confused. "Well you've already started making arrangements for a wedding and you haven't even proposed to the girl yet"

"I told you why. It's not her birthday yet. I have it all planned out and that's the day I'm gonna propose" I smile.

"But you've already booked a church an everything for that day. You don't think you should give her a little heads up? You can't wait until she walking down the isle before you do it" he chuckles slightly. "Obviously, I'm not gonna wait that long" I roll my eyes "i'm gonna ask her in the morning and the wedding will be in the afternoon. It's gonna be perfect" I smile.

Leanne's POV

"So Micheal took the news well then" Janet smiles and I nod. "I thought he'd be mad, but he's actually really excited"

"Why would you think he'd be mad at you? He's just as responsible for this as you" She frowns confused. "We've never spoken about stuff like that. I just assumed he didn't children. especially after what happened with Lisa"

"Micheal wasn't upset because Lisa was pregnant. He was upset because she lied about it. she even had fake ultrasound pictures made and everything"

"She took it that far?" I widen my eyes and she nods. "He was heartbroken when he found out she'd lied about the whole thing" she says then sighs heavily "But none of that matters anymore because Michael has you now and he's finally happy and this time his baby's gonna be real" she smiles "I wasn't sure if you were gonna keep it to be honest"

"Why would you think that?" I mumble. "Just the way you reacted when you found out. You didn't seem to happy about it"

"I was just a little shocked is all" I shrug "well I'm glad you decided to keep it. You have know idea how much this means to Micheal" she smiles at me through pursed lips and I smile back at her the same way.

Emma's POV

I'm really for Leanne and Micheal, but I do think it was wrong the way she told him. I could see how excited Micheal was about having a baby, but Leanne didn't seem that excited and was more interested how Micheal was feeling. It was probably just me, but it was clear she only told him as an excuse not to tell him about Mary. I get she would have had to tell him eventually, but she's known for weeks about Mary and still hasn't said a word to anybody and seems to always have an excuse to use as a diversion so she doesn't have to say anything, but Mary's trial is coming up soon and Leanne is the only one that has the full confession on tape and without that tape then Mary could walk free so she really needs to take that tape to the police soon before it's to late.
