Leanne's POV

It's been 7 months since I started to get to know Carley and David and the 3 of is have really bonded and even Michael and Carley are getting along great and today I'm celebrating my first birthday with them.

I found it really hard at first and felt guilty because I felt like I was replacing my parents who raised me, but Carley and David never talk about them in a bad light and even come with me every Sunday to put flowers on their grave and even thank them for caring for me and raising me to be the person I am today.

Whenever I feel guilty, Michael always reminds me that I have nothing to feel guilty about and he's right. Most people only ever get two or sometimes only one parent in their life and I've been blessed to have not one but four parents who love me. I was heart broken when I first found out, but now I realise just how lucky I am and I actually have the perfect life. I have an amazing husband, two beautiful children. The coolest little brother and a whole family that loves me.

I may have been through some dark times in my past, but I no longer look back at those times and feel heartache, because if it wasn't for those dark times I wouldn't be where I am today and I'm a stronger person because of those things and I know if I can survive what happened in the past then I can survive anything.

My story may have started with pain and heartache, but I finally got my happy ever after.
