Michael's POV
Leanne and I got back 2 days ago, but I haven't been able to speak to Randy yet because we were so tired after the flight and we needed a day to rest before going back to work. I spoke to Randy briefly on the phone while I was gone, but I couldn't speak to hin for very long because I had Leanne and the babies with me most of the time, but what little he did tell me was enough to make me wanna murder him, but lucky for him I've calmed down a little, but still pissed off that he's done this.
I'm in my room getting ready for work and I hear Leanne downstairs talking to someone in the living room.
"Hey! What are you doing here so early?" I smile, giving Janet a hug. "Well I thought I'd come over a little early so I could hang out with Leanne for awhile before she goes to the hotel" she smiles at me through pursed lips and I look at her nervously, but don't say anything.
"Anything interesting happen while we were gone?" Leanne asks changing the topic. "Not much. Randy's been a nightmare to work with though"
"How come?"
"Aren't you supposed to be doing interviews today?" I cut in before Janet can answer. "Yeah, why?" Leanne turns to me confused. "Then don't you think you should start getting dressed soon? You don't wanna be rushing around last minute"
"Weren't you supposed to be so work 10 minutes ago?" She raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, but I'm not interviewing anybody" I point out. "You may as Well start getting dressed now while me and Janet are here to watch Ryan and Annabelle. You don't wanna be turning up at the same time as the people your interviewing"
"OK... dad" she says in a joking yet slightly sarcastic tone and gets up and leaves the room.
"Since when did she have to take orders from you?" Janet asks when Leanne goes upstairs. "What did he say to you?"
"What?" She looks at me confused. "Randy. What has he been saying?"
"Nothing why?"
"So what was that about before when You were saying he's been a nightmare to work with"
"And he has. He's barley done any work all week and has been really distant with everybody. Have you two had an argument or something?" She frowns and I shake my head. "Then why are you worried about what he's been saying?" She frowns confused. "It doesn't matter" I smile at her through pursed lips, seeing she clearly has no idea what I'm talking about.
"Well what ever it is that 'doesn't matter' sort it out Because he's been miserable all week and he's been bringing down my good vibes"
"Don't worry. I will be" I mutter under my breath. "Good. Your grown ass men, not little kids" she frowns.
"Is everything ok?" Leanne asks walking back into the room. "Everything's great. I should probably get to work now" I smile and peck her lips then go over and say goodbye to Ryan and Annabelle before leaving.

Leanne's POV
"What was all that about?" I ask confused, when Michael leaves. "I think him and Randy got into a fight"
"He hasn't said anything to me about it"
"I'm sure it's not important. You know how siblings fight over dumb stuff" she shrugs. "I was an only child" I point out. "Then you were lucky. Sibling are the biggest pain in the ass and sometimes you gotta fight it out" she chuckles making me doing the same. "Well luckily our two are the best of friends" I smile at Ryan and Annabelle. "That's because their babies. Trust me, when they learn to walk an talk. You'll know what I'm talking about" she chuckles.
"So how come your going back to the hotel anyway? I thought Michael hired a new manager?" She asks changing the topic. "He did. I'm just gonna be running the resturant in there so I can get some experience before I buy my own buisness" I explain. "But you and Michael are married now. So everything that he owns is yours too. So technically you already own a resturant"
"Well yeah. 'Technically' but it's not really the same. Michael took an old hotel that was run down and going out of business and turned it into a success and now it's the best hotel in the city and that's what I wanna do with a resturant. I wanna build up my own business and make it a success, not just have it given to me" I explain. "You got more ambition than I did at 18" she giggle slightly. "I always knew I was gonna be working for my parents property company so I never really had to think about what I wanted for my future. Because I knew I'd always have a job there"
"I always knew I could get a job working with my mom because she always took me to work with her and taught me how to cook and manage a kitchen, But that didn't stop me from having a dream of me and my mom owning our own resturant. I know she's not here anymore, but that doesn't mean I can't still do it" I point out. "And there's no reason you can't either"
"I guess" she mumbles "I never really thought about any other career or have a dream job. It's too late to be thinking about all that now anyway" she shrugs "No it's not. Michael's only 27 and he's gone out and done something different by owning and running his own hotel. So of he can do it and I can do it, then there's no reason you can't do something you want or living out your dreams"
"I guess. I've never really been good at anything else though" she shrugs then turns and picks up Annabelle. "I'm sure these two won't have that worry though" she coos at her.

Randy's POV
I'm in my office working and I hear talking in the hallway and nervously walk over towards the door and listen to Michael speaking with his assistant.
"MR Charles has called quite a few times while you were gone too. It seemed pretty important"
"Thank's, I'll give him a call now. Why don't you go take your break for a while" I hear Michael say then hear is office door close.
I wait a few moments and listen out and once it's quiet I open the door to leave quickly while he's still busy in his office.
"Going somewhere?" Michael frowns standing right in front of the door, blocking me. "No I was just coming to find you and..."
"Well now you have" he cuts me off and pushes me back into my office and closes the door. "Now your not leaving here until you tell me everything that's been going on. And wanna know when all this started and I wanna know every little detail" he frowns and I nod and start tell him everything.
"You should have told me... No! Infact you shouldn't have done it in the first place! Why would you do something so stupid!? Do you have any idea what this is gonna do if she..."
"She won't" I cut him off. "And how can you be so sure? Have you still been talking to her?" He frowns and I shake my head. "I blocked her number so she couldn't contact me again"
"Why didn't you do that the first time she called you!?"
"I don't know. I felt bad for her, but I told her she got the wrong..."
"I don't give a fuck what you told her! You shouldn't have done it in the first place and we wouldn't be in this mess!"
"Well I did! And I'm sorry. I don't know how many times or ways I can tell you I'm sorry. And I didn't tell you because I was scared and I didn't know what to do"
"You should have come to me and told me!"
"I'm sor..."
"Don't even dare say your sorry again! Fuck your sorry! Sorry isn't gonna change anything is it!?" He snaps getting more and more worked up.

Leanne's POV
"Are you sure your gonna be ok with both of them?" I ask nervously. "We'll be fine. Quit worrying" Janet rolls her eyes playfully. "Ok, but don't forget their due their bottles in an hour and you need to burp them after and when you changed their diapers, don't forget to clean them before you out another..."
"I know" she cuts me off. "I promise you they'll be ok and I'll take care of them as if they were my own babies and I'll call you if theirs an emergency... which there won't be"
"Maybe I should stay and help you. Ryan's really fussy when you try and feed him"
"I'll manage and you can't stay. You have to interview for a new cook don't you? It's not fare to cancle on those people who are going all the way to the hotel for the interview. They'll be fine I promise" she reassures me.
After some hesitation I finally get in the car and I still can't stop feeling guilty about leaving the twins with Janet. I've left them alone before, but only with Michael and even though Janet is my sister in law and we're close, it still feels weird leaving her to babysit.
When I get to the hotel I'm about to go into my office and I hear my name being called. "Hey! I haven't seen you in like forever!" Emma smiles, coming over to me and gives me a hug. "Hey" I smile, hugging her back. "Sorry I haven't come to see you. I've just been crazy busy"
"That's ok. I'm sure having twins keeps you busy non stop and... Is that a wedding ring?" She points at my hand confused. "Mhm... Me and Michael got married last week on my birthday" I smile. "Oh.. um.. congratulations" she mutters then smiles at me through pursed lips. "Are you ok?" I ask confused by her reaction. "Yeah. I'm fine" she shrugs. "I'm just surprised you didn't tell me you were getting married is all" she mutters. "I didn't even know myself until the day" I shrug. "How can you not know your engaged?" She frowns confused and I tell her everything that happened.
"He'd spent all year planning it and didn't even tell you!?" She widens her eyes. "What would he have done if you'd said No?"
"Of course I wouldn't have said no" I giggle slightly, but even though she's smiling I can see she's still a little upset about not being their on my wedding day. "I'm sorry you didn't get to come. If I'd known about it then.."
"It's fine" she smiles at me through pursed lips. "I'm sure Michael probably just forgot. You know with making all the arrangement and stuff. He was bound to forget something" she shrugs. "Yeah, he does feel really bad about it" I lie
It's pretty obvious why Michael didn't invite Emma to our wedding, but she already seems upset about not being there and I'd rather not start bringing up the past.
"Well it's done now. What are you doing here anyway?" Emma asks changing the topic and I tell her about the interviews.
"So your gonna be here all day?"
"Probably not. I don't need anybody too skilled. Just someone with basic cooking skills who's eager to learn is enough. I had to fire one of the cooks because he was pissing everybody off with his attitude and stealing food so I'm a cook down. The jobs just for an assistant chef to help the others with whatever they need so I'm sure it won't take me that long to find someone"
"If it's just basic cooking skills they need then you could probably just hire the first person you interview and be done for the day" she suggests. "As good as that sounds. I kinda need to I interview all of them. It's only 5 people so hopefully it won't take to long"
*
"... And as a vegan I refuse to touch any meat or dairy or any product that came from an animal and I'm going to need a break every two hours to rest my feet and I don't work weekends or do over time" Tommy the guy I'm interviewing says as he continues giving me a long list of things he expects when he takes the job.
"OK.. now we've aired out what you don't do. Why don't you tell me what you CAN do?" I fake a smile at him. "Well... As you can see from my resume. I graduated from Harvard and I've won multiple cooking contests" he says confidently. "So... when do I start?"
"Umm.. I have a few other people that are here for an interview too so I'll call you and let you know" I fake a smile at him. "Well. Personally. I think your wasting you time interviewing them, but I'll speak to you soon" he smiles and shakes my hand.
I get up to show him to the door and as he's leaving, Emma is walking towards my office. "Hey! I thought I'd come see how your interviews are doing while I'm on my break" she smiles coming into my office.
"Horrible" I sigh closing the door behind us. "Why? I thought you were just looking for an assistant cook that didn't need much experience? I can't see it being that hard" she shrugs. "I didn't think so either, But ever person I've interviewed either doesn't give a shit. Is annoying as hell or like that last guy who's totally up his own ass and thinks he can start making demands like he runs the place" I frown. "So what are you gonna do? Was that the last one?' She asks and I shake my head. "I have one more. I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one though" I sigh heavily. "Well on the bright side. At least it's the last one" She smiles. "I guess" I mutter. "So what's been going on with around here anyway?" I ask changing the topic. "Not much. I'd rather hear what's been going on with you. So what Was the wedding like? And how did Michael propose? Was he like really romantic and get on one knee?"
I sit and tell Emma all about the wedding and as we're talking there's a knock on the door.
"There's someone here for an interview" Stacy, One of the recptionsist informs me. "I'll catch up with you later" Emma smiles and leaves as I invite the woman into my office.
"Hi, I'm Leanne" I smile shaking her hand. "I'm um.. I'm Carley... Jones.... Carley Jones" she stutters nervously. "Nice to meet you. Why don't you take a seat" I smile motioning her towards my desk and I can't help, but feel like I know her from somewhere.
"Have we met before? You look familiar" I ask sitting opisit her. "I... I don't think.... No. No we've never met" she stutters nervously. "It's ok you don't have to be nervous" I smile trying to make her feel more relaxed.
"So what made you want to come for this job?" I ask getting straight to the point. "Um... Well I know I don't have much experience, but I really needs this job and I'm really eager to learn"
"Well the job is only for an assistant so it's mainly just helping out the others, but I can always help you if there's anything your struggling with" I smile, looking through her resume. Which doesn't have much. Just a few cashier jobs. "You'll be here alot?" She asks and I nod. "Mhm.. I'll be the one running the kitchen so if you need any help or aren't sure about something then you can always come to me, but I'm sure you'll be fine" I smile. "You- your giving me the job?" she smiles slightly. "It'll be on a trial basis at first, but I'm sure you'll be great" I smile, getting up from my seat.
"Thank you so much" she smiles, getting up. "You have no idea how much this means to me, Sofia. Thank you"
"Sofia?" I frown confused. "L- Leanne. I meant to say Leanne" she stutters nervously. "It's ok I'm terrible with names too" I smile.
I was kinda pissed off how quickly Carley had forgotten my name, but out of all the people I interviewed. She's the only one that didn't come across as an asshole. She may not be the most skilled, but she seems more like the kind of person the rest of the kitchen will get along with.

Michael's POV
"There. That's the last picture deleted" Randy says showing me his Facebook page. "Good. Now don't ever post photo's of Leanne or my kids on there again" I frown. "You may wanna tell the others that too. Janet has hundreds of photo's of Leanne and the twins on her page"
"Yeah, but hers is private and she doesn't have some psycho looking for her on their" I frown. "I'm pretty sure Ryan and Anna were the psycho's" he mumbles. "No they weren't. They loved Leanne and they were great parents to her" I frown. "But they weren't her parent's though were they? And if their not psycho then what do you call stealing a new born baby from a hostpital? Or even more sick giving her a middle name what her REAL mother named her and a locket that again her MOTHER gave her. And your no better either. You named your kids after the people that stole a baby and..."
"Don't even dare bring my kids into this Randy!" I snap "and why are you defending her? Have you told her where she is?"
"Of course not and I'm defending her because she isn't the one that did any wrong"
"No... You did!" I frown. "If you hadn't posted all that shit online then Carley never would have found you or..."
"How was I supposed to know she'd find out my name or my phone number?" He cuts me off. "Maybe because you used your real name and email address on her site and posted all that shit on another other site! Of course she was gonna find you. All she would have had to do was Google your name and you have pictures of Leanne on your Facebook. You fucking idiot!"
"She didn't look on Leanne's page" he mutters "because 1st off me and her don't have any social media pages and 2nd Carley didn't know what Ryan and Anna renamed her"
"Then how can she be so sure Leanne is the one she's looking for?"
"Because she saw a photo of her on your fucking Facebook! You don't think she's gonna know her own child!?"
"She hasn't seen her since she was a few days old. She's 18 now. Carley couldn't possibly have been able to recognise her"
"Of course she's gonna recognise her own daughter. It doesn't matter how long it's been since since she last saw her. Trust me. When you have kids you'd recognise them anywhere and now not only does Carley know who Leanne is.... Thanks to you! She also knows everything that happened to her and what Mary did and..."
"I never mentioned the murder part?" He mumbles "and that makes it ok? Why did you post all that anyway?" I frown. "I told you why. When you first found out about Carley, I posted it on the site where people can ask questions and get advice"
"I already gave you advice. Take that shit down and stay out of it! If you would have just done as I said then we wouldn't be here right now"
"Well it's done now and everything's been deleted and I've blocked her from my emails and phone and anyway of contacting me again. It's over now"
"Maybe now, but it shouldn't have started in the first place" I frown and he's about to speak when my phone starts ringing.
"Hey, baby girl. How's the interviewing going?" I smile, answering the phone to Leanne. "Oh my god! It was horrible at first, but the last woman I interviewed was really nice. She doesn't have that much experience, but she seems eager to learn so I hired her"
"That's great! So what are you gonna do now? Are you still at the hotel?"
"Nah... I'm on my way home"
"Ok, well I'll be home really soon too"
"Isn't it kinda early for you to be coming home?" She asks confused. "Well there's not much left for me to do here so I'll see you soon"
"Ok. I love you"
"I love you more baby girl" I smile down the phone and hang up.
"Was that Leanne?" Randy asks when I hang up "duh! Who else is it gonna be?" I say sarcastically.
"So what happens now?" He asks. Ignoring my comment. "We forget all about Carley Jones and that stupid letter and YOU stay away from any of those sites. Leanne's in the best place she's been in a long time and the last thing we need is her showing up" I say sternly and he nods. "I'm gonna go home to be with Leanne and the twins" I say and turn to leave.
"Michael" Randy calls and I turn back to him. "I really am sorry" he mutters. "It's over now. Let's just forget about it" I sigh then turn and leave.
