"Icekit give it back!" frostkit yowled, running after her brother. Icekit had stolen her moss ball and she was trying to get it back, without hope. She hisses in anger and just goes back to the nursery where her mother, Amberpelt was. She plopped in the nest and huffs.

Amberpelt looks at frostkit. "Did Icekit steal your moss ball again?"  Frostkit nods in anger. "He took it from me when I was playing. He'll regret it." Frostkit says darkly. "It was my moss ball. Not his." Amberpelt purrs in amusement.

Frostkit sighs and gets up. "I'm going to see if stonepaw will share a mouse with me." She pads out the nursery and goes to the fresh kill pile and gets a mouse off the pile before going to the apprentice den and poking her head in. "Stonepaw?" she calls.

stonepaw looks up from his nest. "Hello frostkit. What do you need?"  Frostkit shuffles her paws. "Would you like to share a mouse with me?" She asks nervously. Stonepaw smiles. "Sure" he gets up and shakes his pelt out before padding to frostkit and leading her to where the apprentices eat. He sits down and looks at frostkit.

Frostkit sets the mouse down and slides it to him. "You can have the first bite" Stonepaw smiles and takes a bite out of the mouse before sliding it to frostkit. Frostkit takes a bite of the still-warm mouse and swallows.

"Your apprentice ceremony is coming up" Stonepaw says. "Ill make a nest for you beside mine." He smiles and looks at her. Frostkit blushes a little. "thank you stonepaw. I cant wait to be a apprentice!"

Frostkit looks up as Amberpelt calls her and Icekit in for the night. Frostkit looks at stonepaw. "Ill see you tomorrow ok stonepaw?"

stonepaw purrs and nods, licking frostkit's cheek goodnight. Frostkit smiles and goes to the nursery, laying down in the nest beside Amberpelt and Icekit and slowly falling asleep, dreaming of stonepaw.
