1. Kits will be apprenticed at 6 moons old.

2. Defend your tribe, even with the cost of your life.

3. Do not hunt or trespass on another tribe's territory.

4. Do not neglect a kit if hurt or in danger even if from a different tribe.

5. Elders and kits must be fed before anyone else.

6.If a guardian steals or breaks a sacred gem they will be exiled with wounds.

8.Newly appointed guardians will sit vigil for one night after receiving their name.

9. A cat cannot be made deputy without mentoring at least one apprentice.

10.The deputy will be made tribe leader after the leader dies or retires.

11.If a guardian kills the guards of the gems, then steals or breaks a gem they will be KILLED.

12. After the death, retirement, or exile of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moon high.

13. A gathering of all packs and clans is held at full moon. There is a truce during that night. There shall be no fighting among the tribes at this time.

14.Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

16.A honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats (or wolves) to win his battle, unless they are outside The Guardian Code or if it’s necessary for self-defense.

17.Trespassers are to be challenged but not killed unless necessary.

19.If a deputy is killed or retires a new deputy will be appointed by moon high. A leader has one day to choose a new deputy.

20.Medicine cats can have mates if their apprentice is trained enough.
