anOTHER preview
Toby hadn't howled. He had screamed his agony, that was the only way Frisk could put it. He now lay on the cold floor, still screaming, as his life slowly bled out of his stomach.
It was terrifying.
But most of all, it was their fault.
And they were a terrible person, and they were still starving and dehydrated and exhausted and almost unable to mentally function as a Human being.
A funny thought came to them. Did Toby think with pictures instead of words? It seemed likely; after all, he was a dog. But in their universe, he could understand and speak Human language, as if he were a person rather than a dog. Maybe he could be more Human in this universe, too.
Toby coughed. He looked sick now.
Frisk averted their eyes, but couldn't get that face out of their head.
Gaster was now confused at their thoughts, almost troubled. Maybe he should have been, considering the huge mistake he had made.
Frisk picked up the knife and faced Gaster. They didn't speak, but they bared their teeth in anger, as if part of the bleeding dog's being had seeped into them.
Their was a pounding at the door. To Frisk it sounded like the pounding of blood in their ears.
Gaster almost answered the door, but stopped himself short. His eyes seemed to be stuck on Frisk.
They felt powerful. Angry. They overpowered Gaster, they could see that now; Fear me, their expression commanded. Fear me. Don't mess with me or my allies ever again.
And the reply was clear on Gaster's face: Okay, I fear you.
aka CorrupT!Frisk falls into shock and starts threatening Gaster non-verbally, and Gaster, who had been previously stabbed with their knife, doesn't feel himself and reacts differently to rebellious test subjects.
And a quick fun fact: the "Corrupted Knife" is the reason why Gaster is acting unusually nervous here; when someone is stabbed or injured with the knife, if they live they will have a small amount of corruption inside them, and it's kinda like getting a vaccine for the flu, except that it's side effects are instead a mental hindrance, and now you know why Sans is paranoid, and why Asgore doesn't leave his house unless it's to his garden, and why Doggo... (wait, Doggo actually isn't really affected, is he? Hmm.)
QUICK BONUS SKETCH

Let's branch off of AUs for a bit! So basically this is Shade (before the Omega episode) and the kitten there is Blackpelt (the neglected kitten/antagonist; Darkpelt was his "villain" name). This is supposed to be an exhaustion/fever dream of Shade meeting Blackpelt in the afterlife...? I guess???idrk
(...I guess this is kinda spoilers for After Humanity)
