It was so cold it was unbearable. I could see my breath so clearly and the guards that watched over me also noticed the drop in temperature. But from what I heard it was only near my cell. I wondered if it was me if I somehow was causing this but I denied the thought. "Why the hell is it so damn cold over here!?" I glanced up. "We believe it's the girl." The guards tried explaining. "Well why the hell are you just standing here? Get doctor Hartman NOW!" The guards ran off and the person looked at me and jumped bac from the bars. The person mumbled, "What are you?" I felt myself grin unintentionally. "Yo-you...YOUR A MONSTER!" I heard doctor Hartman's voice,"Calm down Lizza she's only a girl you need not worry." The person laughed, "A girl isn't how I would describe her a monster is what she is I mean just look at those eyes dark and cold yet shines of blood." I tilted my head wondering what she meant. "I wouldn't say...woo it's quite cold around here." He rushed to the cell. "Oh no red eyes cold temperature." He banged his hand on the bars. "Damn I thought we had more time." I questioned what he was talking about what exactly was happening to me. "Better start talking Hartman what in god's name is going on here?" "She's...destablizing her powers are becoming dormant and radiating at amazing speed that's what you feel in the air it isn't cold it's her." "Powers..." I mumbled. I remembered Alex telling me about it he said I was special and that's why they were after me he tried explaining but I couldn't really understand.

Doctor Hartman told the guards to grab some medicine from his office and took out his keys to open the gate. "Wait?! Your not thinking of letting her out are you she's a demon I tell you she was better off killed once we brought her here not caged up she's no animal Hartman shes much worse." "SHUT UP LIZZA!" Lizza jumped back. "We're not killing anyone got that?" She nodded shocked Hartman's break in character. He walked over to me and put a hand on my cheek. I flinched. "Everything's going to be okay I promise." He whispered. The guards came back with the things Doctor Hartman asked for and he thanked them and told them to stand back. He set up a needle and took my arm. He looked at me and smiled in the reflection of his glasses i seen my glowing red eyes staring back at me. I jumped back frightned. "Everything's going to be fine." He leaned closer to inject the needle in my skin. "No...no don't stay away..." I mumbled. "I will kill you please leave me alone." The needle hit my skin and i broke free from my chains that binded me to the wall and pushed him away. Doctor Hartman flung to the other side of the room and his glasses flew off his face. The guards quickly went to unlock the gate. "NO!" I looked over at doctor Hartman who still held the needle in his hand. The point was completely bent. He pushed himself to his feet and grabbed his cracked glasses off the ground. "No don't come in no matter what." The guards took the key out the lock and Doctor Hartman looked at me and smiled. How could he smile after i just pushed his across the room. I questioned if i was wrong about him. He walked towards me and i moved away. He knelt down and layed the needle next to the broken chains and exited. "But...Hartman!" Lizza ran after him. "That's enough for today." She stopped and he continued to head bac to the clinic looking at his hand. I turned back to the needle and i seen blood on the tip. My heart skipped a beat. I never hurt anyone in my life...but now... "I want 24 hour watch of that...that thing don't let her out of your sight and don't enter that cell no matter what you got that." The guards nodded and Lizza ran after Doctor Hartman.
