The sound of metal twisting and snapping could be heard all throughout the now overrun installation. A line of heavy artillery stood with Karl, Raichu, and Marowak behind them. They all looked with terrified anticipation at the metal cover. Gengars emerged from a tiny hole, but snipers quickly dispatched them. Suddenly a clawed fist burst from the metal, and sparks flew everywhere, igniting a patch of dry grass. "MANAKUMA!" Burned in everyone's ears as the beast let out a thundering roar. The fist was covered in mangy fur and it was at least six feet wide. Eventually another fist came through, followed by a swarm of gengar. The marshal raised his hand and yelled at them to fire at the hand. RPG bullets whooshed through the air, on track to hit the hand, but instead they simply stopped, turned around, and were returned to their senders. The soldiers ducked for cover, but few were spared from their fiery demise. The last soldiers grabbed their pistols and fought desperately against the gengar horde. Meanwhile the cover blasted off its hinges, thrown by a telekinetic force, and another "MANAKUMA" could be heard. A head emerged from the hole, its white hair blowing in the wind. It's eyes glowed with purple fire, and its mouth was filled with jagged fangs. It used its arms to lift itself from its prison, and sprinted at amazing speeds towards the soldiers. The bottom half of its chest was devoid of flesh, and was merely a jet black rib cage. Its arms were spindly compared to its humongous hands, and you could see the bones crawling underneath the pale skin. It roared and swung its arms, sending soldiers flying. The remaining soldiers ran, and only the three protectors of Bloomtown stood in the beast's way. Raichu sent a thunderbolt careening into the side of the beast's face filling the field with the smell of burning fur. The beast grabbed marowak with two fingers and pressed down. Marowak disappeared in a burst of chromatic light. Raichu crawled up the beast's back and sent a stream of electricity into the beast's pressure point, making it spasm on the ground, however it quickly rolled over, crushing Raichu beneath its multiple tonnes of mass. The beast jumped to its feet and reached its arm out, grabbing Karl by the head. The beast'a fingertips crackled with purple energy, and incinerated Karl, leaving only a cloud of purple embers, floating in the wind.
