A winding path, you follow, the flowers coloring the haze

The pretty colors mask the ugly, but prominent, it still remains

Oh, how tempting the palace is, a golden throne to soothe the ache of want

But on the other side, a bittersweet reality hits so hard, the luxury of one that breaks the backs of the others

The world was harsh, the littlest girl being built on the foundations of beauty, not another thought did they grace her with

And the littlest boy, filled with dreams of his possible future, however horrible it may be

Yet every wrong done was a step towards right, and every failure was a leap towards success...

Sacrifices had to be made, but never in vain, as failure was not encouraged, but in the end, unavoidable
