Hold tight cause this could be boring a bit. But it is needed for the story to move on. So, bear with me, guys.

In Kasetsart campus hospital,

Phana and Beam walk out of Kit's room as they checked the dimpled guy in drips. His fever is still high but, it's under control. He is sleeping for now.

They met the rest of the engineering gang together with the newcomer in the resting area. The first floor is shut out from the outsiders by the newcomer.

"What's going on here, Forth? What's with the fight in our campus and, what's with the guns involvement?" questioned Phana angrily.

Forth turned towards the person who has been sitting beside Lam quietly since they got here.

"Why don't you say something!" said Forth sternly.

"I'm sorry for betraying our own. But, I was not helping the Ritdya gang since the flag ceremony. It was P'See's idea," stated Posh, defending himself.

"P'See? Isn't he the former head hazer of the Ritdya? What this has to do with him?" asked Park.

He remembers punching his face a few times in between their fights.

"Why were you involved in the first place?" asked Lam sternly as well.

"I joined here because it's the best engineering university in Thailand. At first, I wanted to help my brother. All he asked me was to report our sotus spot. But, I happened to overhear their conversation with P'See during the last time I went there," added Posh.

"What was that?" asked Forth, still sternly.

"P'See wants to hurt Ming in all way. He doesn't mind even if Ming dies in those fights he caused here," commented Posh frustratedly.

"WHAT THE HELL!!!" exclaimed Max.

"Even if the other head hazers and my brother Kim was against his ideas, P'See still brought outsiders to our gear-giving ceremony to cause trouble. Luckily my brother managed to change the location details before P'See could get to the beach. But we didn't expect him to fight us on our campus," explained Posh.

"That fight at the hotel was his doing as well," questioned Park angrily.

"Why in the hell, he wants to kill Ming? What did Nong Ming do in the first place?" asked Tul confusedly.

All this time, three-person in the group didn't say a word.

It was Ming, Wayo and, the newcomer. They were watching the conversation like a show.

The newcomer gets a call from someone. So, he walked a bit far to attend to it. Ming watched his expression which, turns grim.

When he got off the call, he instructs his man to round up the floor.

Forth and the gang was startled by the number of new people surrounding them suddenly.

All of the newcomers were in a coat suit with a clean cut. But somehow, they look scary and intimidating.

"Boys, guard our young master and report to me all the details. Don't leave him alone and, the same goes to Nong Yo too," instructed P'Pete.

"P'Pete, you don't have to do this," said Wayo worriedly. He doesn't want to cause more confusion here.

"Nong Yo, this is not something small anymore. I have warned Nong Ming about this but, he told me not to get involved," said P'Pete as he glared at Ming, who has been silent all this time.

"Ming......," called Wayo worriedly.

"Nong Yo, at least you explain what's going on here," asked Park in tension.

"First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm Pete, one of the safety security in charge under Blue Dragon Construction," stated Pete with a friendly smile as he explains his job scope subtlely.

To sum it up, he explained undercover bodyguard with Maria background into a safe and soft occupation.

"I have admitted the injured man in the outskirt hospital and handled the fight scene into something else. I cooked up some lies so that Mo Kit's name or any of your names gets involved," explained P'Pete.

"Thank you so much, Phi," said Phana.

As medical students, they can't have any criminal records on their graduation sheets.

"Are they mafia, Phi?" questioned Beam worriedly.

"Yes, they are. Those men are the undercover mafia under Scorpion," answered Pete.

"I have seen a scorpion tattoo on P'See before," commented Posh.

"WHY DON'T MY OLD MAN STOP SPOILING MY LIFE? WHY DO HIS PAST MISTAKES HAUNT ME DOWN?!! IS HE TRYING TO KILL ME WITH HIS NEGLECTMENT OR HIS STUPID ONCE RIVAL?!!" yelled Ming angrily.

He has been quiet all this time and waited for a proper explanation. But, seems like they all are in the same group and, he is not. All of them are keeping the secret from him for way too long.

"NEVER RAISE YOUR VOICE TOWARDS HIM, NONG MING. THIS FIGHT IS NOT ANYBODIES FAULT, AND YOU KNEW THAT," shouted the newcomer who just walked past the heavy security calmly like he won that place.

It was P'Kao. He was the personal bodyguard sent by Wayo's dad to look after Wayo secretly and, Wayo knew this. If Pete is under Ming's dad and in charge of his safety, Kao is under Wayo's dad and responsible for Wayo's protection.

P'Kao used to be P'San's best friend and, he used to hang out with them in Ming's house before the accident. Apart from P'San, Ming used to listen to Kao's bits of advice. He has unique ways of making others listen to him without arguing. Kao has a method for all types of people. He is good at words.

"You want the truth. I'll give you the truth," P'Kao stated angrily.

"Your father used to be an underground mafia lord with a partner and a successor. The partner was Wayo's dad and, the successor was the Scorpio gang leader, the only mafia left in Thailand. He is the Satan," said Kao.

"Does that a metaphor or is that his name, phi?" question Park frightened.

"That is his name, Nong. They dealt with guns, drugs and ruled the underground world. Your father left that world behind when San was born. He changed his profession from an underground mafia lord into a successful entrepreneur with the construction business.

His business became a huge success with Wayo dad's help. They build this new profession with the support they got from the police after they left their old job together.

Things took a different turn when their once successor decided to hunt them down. Since they were the famous trio in the mafia world, Ming and Wayo dads' departure has caused a lot of money and supporter loss.

The Scorpio leader is a bit of an egoist and also a narc. He didn't like it when your parents were living a successful life while he was not. He was having difficulty in keeping away the international police force and handling the supporters.

He wanted revenge. So, he attacked your parent's business, but unfortunately, Wayo's dad was too good at handling business and, Ming's dad was good at managing people. Everything was under control and, they continued their business without any trouble.

That's when he changed his target into you and your sister, Nong Ming. Satan once tried to kidnap you and your sister in your family's house by the lake. If Wayo's dad didn't receive the information soon, you both would have been dead long ago.

I guess you know what happened after that. Even though Satan is way younger than your fathers, he is good at what he does. That's why your dad chooses him as a successor after him," he concluded.

"This doesn't explain my parent's neglecting behavior towards us. This story is nowhere near what I wanted to know," Ming yelled again.

"Your parents tried to deceive Satan by acting like a divorced couple. They decided to portray a broken family image so that the Scorpion leader won't bother both of you again. Ai' San knows this too," added Kao.

"Well, guess what. We become a real broken family. They don't have to try hard to portray anything cause it's real," replied Ming with tears in his eyes. Those angry tears are so stubborn.

"Your parents trusted your uncle and left him in charge. But, they didn't know that he was the black sheep in the family. Your uncle was a very jealous man. He was a maniac with anger management too. San tried to save you multiple times from your uncle and inform all the mistreatments to your parents. However, the news never reached your parents.

That's when we figure out that your uncle joined hands with Satan. So, She sends me to bring your parents back. But, She was involved in the accident before I could do so," said Kao sadly.

"After the accident, we lost your trust and, it was too dangerous to send you away from the capital city. But, the boss still sends you away to study here because he cares about you. But somehow, the Scorpion Leader knows your whereabouts and trying to kill you.

According to rural quotes, 'Losing a son is more grief than losing the wealth or health,' so he is aiming to kill you, Young master," added Pete as Kao couldn't complete the story. The loss of a friend is hard to forget.

Ming was not shocked by the truth. He somehow guesses it before. But Ming doesn't want that to be true. If it's true, all the things he did in high school to get his parent's attention will be pointless.

"I sincerely hope that you don't hate your parents for this. Even if the method is wrong, they still tried their best protecting you both. That's why San never blamed your parents," stated Kao as he hugged the poor soul.

Ming hugged him tight as he cried his eyes out. All of his life seems like a lie. Everything he believed and blamed his parents for was not their fault in the first place. But, he still hoped they choose a different route ten years ago.

Wayo joined the hug as he shed silent tears too.

The whole scenario was a complete roller coaster for the others' presents there. Start from the campus fight to the hospital lockdown to mafia involvement in Ming's life and Ming's past.

What are they going to do now?

Will the mafia gang will attack them again?

What will they do then?

These kinds of questions were running in their head wildly. But, they waited patiently without judging. Kao and Ming stopped crying after few minutes. Ming felt so stupid about his outburst before and, he regrets all the time he hated his parents.

Pete and Kao decided to keep their guard up and put Ming and Wayo under their supervision for the time being. As Kao tries to comfort the crying Ming and Wayo, Pete sends his men away with instructions to stay undercover and stay close.

Forth asked Posh to arrange a meeting between the Kasetsart and Ritdya gang while Park and Lam, together with Max and Tul, left the hospital to take care of the freshmen and the rest of the faculty.

Phana was shocked by the different side of Wayo but, he is not afraid of him. How could he be scared or mad at the cute guy with puffy eyes due to crying?

He can't be frightened of his sweet boyfriend or be mad at him for doing the right thing. Moreover, who is he to judge his past or family history?

Phana just waited for the right time to bring the so-called brave guy into his arms. Beam stays seated beside Forth while holding his hands to give him his moral support. His partner needs that more right now.

As they all were in their thoughts, the nurse on duty approached them.

"Patient Kittitan is awake. He asked for his friends. Who are Phana and Beam here?" she asked.

"We are. How is Kit's fever now, phi?" asked Beam worriedly.

"The fever has dropped to 37.5 degrees celsius. The patient will get better soon," she stated as she waited for them to follow her.

"Let's check him first, Beam," said Phana as he brought Beam with him into the hospital room.

They entered the room carefully to avoid making the dimpled guy anxious but, the first thing they saw when they entered was an anxious-looking Kit on the bed.

"Did he died?" was his first question to them.

He looked damn worried and was ready to cry his eyes out if something had happened to Ming.

"No," replied Beam softly.

"Did he get hurt?" was the next question.

"He is still alive without a scratch. Worry about yourself, will you," stated Phana despairingly.

"Do you want to meet him?" Beam asked again softly.

Kit just nodded his head as yes. Phana went out to bring the new campus moon inside while Beam kept Kit company.

"What happened while I was out?" questioned Kit to Beam.

"Too much to explain at the moment and, it's not my story to share. Why don't you ask Nong Ming in a while?" suggested Beam gently.

Kit nodded his head again as he rested his head on Beam's shoulder.

Soon Ming entered the room alone without Phana tagging along and, Beam left them alone to talk.

Ming hugged Kit as soon as Beam left them as he said, "You scared me there, P'Kit Kat."

"I thought you died due to the shoot-out," commended Kit in Ming's embrace.

"I'm alive. Everything is good," stated Ming, yet his eyes betrayed him. He ended up crying in Kit's presence once again.

"All my life has been a lie, and I didn't know anything about it. I blamed people who are not responsible for what I had to go through," he cried more.

"Do you regret what you did in the past? Do you still blame others for it?" questioned Kit softly.

Ming nods and shakes his head as the answer to Kit's question.

"Then you're not at fault. It's natural to make mistakes and, it's even more natural to blame others. If you learned a lesson from it, then It's all good. I'm sure that you won't repeat it," replied Kit in a dry voice.

Ming loosed the hug as he extends his arms to get water for Kit. His voice is dry and hoarse due to fainting and also his still high fever.

"I don't know if you're ready to listen to this, but I've to tell this to you now. The moment I thought that I lost you in the gunfight, I almost died. I don't want to waste any more time in doubt or worry about the future," said Kit.

Ming stopped in his spot and looked into Kit's eyes. Kit continued talking as he saw the younger one give him his full attention.

"I was and am not cherished since birth. I was ordered around since childhood. I was taught not to defend myself. Every time that I tried to say my point of view, my parents scolded me harshly. My dad nearly slapped me for questioning his mistreatment once.

Even my brother beat me up before. He say that he did it as playing. But I know better.

Belittling is my family's extraordinary talent.

I grew up in survival mode.

Although I don't show it, I have a lot of insecurities.

I fear losing people.

I have trust issues.

I am not perfect and, I am not a healthy person.

After all the childhood trauma, you can't expect me to be a healthy person too. I won't even be surprised if I have any mental disorder hidden in me. I don't know if I could love you like any other couples out there.

I might lack in many areas. But the one thing I can promise you is, I'll fight for you.

I am this and, this is me.

So, tell me now. Do you still want to love me and spend the rest of your life with me?" asked Kit doubtfully.

Today Ming's life has been a hell of a roller coaster. The truth about his past and parents to his precious P'Kit Kat's confession was too many things to handle. But, Ming decided to avoid making the same old mistake again.

Life is too short for any doubts or conflicts. If his life turns into a melody, then he better enjoy it with a bowl of popcorns. Not to forget, with P'Kit Kat beside him.

He takes in a deep breath and holds his precious P'Kit Kat's hand carefully. He doesn't want to hurt his injected hands by mistake.

"I am not perfect too, P'Kit Kat. Let's try our best to make the imperfections perfect, shall we?" asked Ming with a small, soft smile.
