The first few hours were perfect, she felt as free as she could ever be. Free from her father, free from the kingdom, free from everything, and for the first time in her life, she felt whole. 

She soared through the sky, touched the clouds and her personal favorite, she saw a bunch of mermaids swimming, and singing along in the middle of the vibrant sea

But the fun couldn’t have lasted forever, Celena knew that she had to find shelter, the sun was going to go down soon and it would be to dark for her to see.

She looked around trying to find somewhere to land and somehow the fates must have been on her side today, there was an island not far from where she was gliding from.

It wasn’t too small nor was it too big, it was the perfect size
Celena was already tired from flying around for hours, she just wanted to land then curl up and fall asleep, but she knew better.

All those years of survival, sword fighting, and archery training made her more cautious and wary. She slowly circled the island, careful to not be in the line of sight of potential enemies.
As she felt there were no threats, she started to descend down onto the island, looking around she felt at peace with the sound of the waves crashing to the rocks and the serene scene. 

Celena started trudging into the forest, she knew she needed to find things like wood to make a fire and find some non-poisonous fruits to eat, and she could always hunt some animals if she needed to.

She started picking up some stray sticks on her way, the forest seemed so noiseless, the sun hasn’t even set yet.

When Celena felt she had enough wood, she went to search for fruits and tried to track some animals for her hunt. A few minutes later she came back with coconuts, apples, and a few berries she was positive were not poisonous but no trace of any animals anywhere.

Celena thought it was quite odd, there were no animals aside from the fish in the sea. There was no sound what so ever.

What island did she exactly land on? And why is it completely abandoned? With all these thoughts, she decided it was better to take rest and fly away to find a new place to stay tomorrow.

As she walked back to where she first landed, Celena saw the sun has started to set, she felt so entranced by it. The way its orange beams were going down so gracefully, and the way it was about disappear behind the Horizon. Sunsets were one of the things she has come to love from her younger days, it reminded her of how easy and warm her childhood was

Then she sensed the aura of the island change, from a calm and serene to a lively and energetic. She felt warmth and happiness seep through her body, it made her feel at happy, and at peace.

Even the animals felt it too. They started pouring out of nowhere, the birds started chirping, the bunnies were jumping out of their holes, and even a family of foxes came out and nudged Celena’s leg.

She was mesmerized by the sight of it all. The way the aura of the island completely changed. She sat down crossed leg and stroke the foxes fur, as it went into Celena’s embrace and sat down on her lap.

She gazed down into the fox’s eyes and Celena was blown away. It was as if the Fox had a kaleidoscope for eyes. The way its eyes changed color every few seconds, and expressed emotions in ways she had never seen before. She opened her mouth to say something but before she had the chance to, something rustled and the fox scurried away,
“Hey! Wait!”
 
But before she had wanted to run towards the fox, something caught her attention. Celena saw something glowing brightly in the distance, she knew she wasn’t supposed to approach unknown things but the warmth of the object made her curious, it made her wonder.

She walked toward the light and saw an odd orb. It was like a tiny version of the sun, floating in towards her.

She slowly reached out her hand, the small orb was suddenly shaped like a human. Celena furrowed her eyebrows, in all these years, even after seeing all of her mother’s odd contraptions, she had never seen something like this.

She quickly connected her hand with the ‘human’ but without warning, a hand shot out and held her hand.

Celena panicked and she instinctively drew out her sword from her pack and slashed it to the ‘human’. She thought she succeeded but she saw the thing had avoided her sword successfully. She tried again, and again, and again. But without her realizing, The thing had materialized into a real male human that glowed as brightly as the sun.

“Woah there!”
The guy side stepped and blocked her sword then proceeded to knock the weapon out of her hand. Celena’s instinct kicked in and she did a dropkick and aimed it to his head, she smirked, this was her go to move meaning it would not fail her.

Then the unexpected happened. The guy actually caught her foot and proceeded to judo flip her.

Celena’s mind thought of how this guy just easily bested her and she couldn’t bear the fact that an unknown guy had been able to beat her whereas even all the guards in her kingdom couldn’t even lay a finger on her. As she fell to the sand, she kicked his legs and that made him fall.
