Twirling my straw around in my cup I sighed. "Why Dont people respect me Paul?" Pulling me back against him he wrappes his arms around me trapping me against his chest. "Our Pack Respects you and we get the situation other packs dont Mea Lux" tucking a strand behind my ear. He kissed my cheek "Just Relax Alpha" hearing a growl I turned to my left "oh great look what the rouges dragged in" I muttered "can I help you? Shouldnt you be on your way home" I asked my hand tensing on my glass. "Mate" he growled huskly. I felt the glass shatter in my hand.

Rens P.O.V

The Bed Underneath my body felt uncomfortable and I felt my sides groan out. The wound my be healed but my side still ached. The stupid Rouge had Ripped into me and got a good attack before I could kill him. Standing I streched my body protesting. Opening the oddly painted door I peeked into the hallway and when the strong smell of strawberries and vanilla filled my nose. Mate. The word tasted weird in my mouth. Following the smell I stooped infrount of the kitchen. I could hear The Alpha talking another pack member. Feeling overwhelmed I needed to touch my mate feel her molded against my chest. Walking I watched as some tall tan guy folded My mate against his chest. Letting out a growl her bright blue eyes found me "Mate" I growled the sound animalistic as my wolf urged me to Kill the wolf holding my mate. My eyes Zeroed in ready to make the kill when my mates whimpers pulled me out of the strategy. Blood was dripping in waves down her hand as she plucked glass from the wound. "Crap" she mumbled getting up to run her hand under the water in the sink. "Beta pick up the glass please" "Yes Alpha the wolf repylrd stifly" bending down he picked up the the shattered glass. "Are you just going to ignore me?" I asked my wolf whimpering at the thought of rejection. "We are not mates" she whispered her muscles tensing. "We Cant be, We both have Packs to be Alphas of and I refuse to be some Luna we arent mates lets leave it settled there" pushing past me she disappeared before I could say anything. "Dont take it personal she doesnt date guys.....She falls for them but doesnt date them....Shes scared to end up like her mom and she says she wont let that happen to our pack twice" "So your close?" I asked feeling my wolf anger again. "Shes like my sister we grew up together trained to be one Alpha and Beta we were forced to get along and we Always did" with a shrug he dumped all the glass into the trash can.
