Started from the bottom now we here, right?!

Second, I found an old folder with some of the covers I did when I just started back in 2013. So I thought I'd show you some of my most awkward covers and the evolution of my graphics in general.

Sorry in advance for talking in second person and the pokemon thing lol

I guess I will start at the beginning of everything when little Madeline ( a.k.a pokemon Madmander) didn't know wattpad covers had an specific size.... and oooh that good old slap text. Then she realized she could make the titles have a gradient effect (which really didn't make that much difference)

Madmander's covers:

then Madmander discovered freaking textures man and she became unstoppable. And so Madmander evolved into Madmeleon.

Now, with every tool she needed in her hands,  she discovered deviantart and was introduced to the world of stocks and better quality textures. At this time little Madmeleon also became more involved with the mdc, gained critiques, and learnt from tutorials... and just practised and practised,  and got closer to the style she wanted. Darker, more manipulated and fantasy-ish.

Then, she suddenly stopped making covers. And made two or three every other month, she wanted to focus on her writing . But after doing a few requests she realized designing was her passion and even if she wanted to stop, she always found a way to include graphics into her stories. So took requests again this book was born.

With a bit more practise she eventually evolved into the third level: MADIZARD.

These are the some of the last covers I made, still have a lot to improve and I haven't quite reached the style I want... but will I ever do?... I'll never be satisfied. #dathamiltonreferencetho
