Soulmates

Days come and go,

Weeks, and then months pass by.

But some things don't go.

They stay with you till you breathe your last breath.

Just like my bittersweet memories of you,

The way we used laugh,

How we broke rules, a few.

Now laughing and crying together,

As if we were one soul,

Years have passed.

Time took its toll on us,

Though we grew together our ways are now apart.

And we can't make any fuss.

Just live on until time comes.

When everything becomes still,

And the bright light comes,

Then would destiny reunite us.
