Eyes flooded with tears,
That dark place one no longer fears.
Dwelling in the abyss, staring out to space,
Physically here, but spirituality gone without a trace...
Literally no feelings, absolutely numb,
Continue to remain silent, continue to act dumb...
Wanting to cry, not to be heard
No reason at all, at least not that can be said in words.
Eyes feeling heavy, but not with tears,
But with everything that's bottled inside because no one truly cares.

I'm emotionally tired, but I pull it all together as it's just another day,
Another day to go through events but I continue to pray.
At this point, I just wanna sit in the rain,
Where I can openly cry as the raindrops mask this pain.
