Now the thing with making lemonades, it can vary in taste,
Life throws us lemons, and all is well.
We sweeten, quench our thirst and in the goodness of life we dwell.
Other days it might get too sweet, and we take advantage of life so called "treats".
Waking up in the morning, breathing fresh air,
It's literally a privilege, but we act like we don't care.

Bombardment of lemons, but I'm not thirsty today,
Lemonade is now sour, for better days we pray.
The truth about my life, I need somewhere to put my mind,
The things I've been thinking about are far beyond this time.

There will be times when your lemonade will taste rather fresh,
Don't discriminate its taste as it might be refreshing nonetheless.
Take each cup as a blessing,
Whether fresh, sweet or sour.
The fact that you were able to experience having a cup gives you more than enough power.
If it's fresh, use the beautiful things each day has to offer to sweeten that cup,
You'd be surprised to be having more and more of a drink you never wanted so much.
If it's sour, then limit your reactions to every bombardment and take some time to breathe,
Remember an agitated mind has no direction to lead.
And if it's too sweet, then spread some of that cheer,
Appreciate the ones that lets you know they care.
But always remember to keep things moderate at a time,
You don't wanna become too hyperactive, sometimes we truly need some lime.

Now that you have your lemonade,
Go ahead and have a sip.
Regardless of it's taste,
You're now grateful for even a little drip.
