If you have to explain your worth,
You're already too expensive for them.
Take action by respecting yourself
As the sword is mightier than the pen.
Some people will admire your strength,
But hate when you use it,
You refuse to settle for less,
And as such, they abuse it.
You shifted from being the victim,
To the one to be blamed.
Guilty on all counts,
even when the world knew you were framed.
No matter what you do,
don't hurt a soul that cannot express its pain,
For when they become silent,
they'll never open up ever again.
Ignore the world and remember who you are,
No need to validate your glow when you're already a star.
Sometimes we need to forget what we feel,
And remember what we deserve.
For life is a wheel,
And it moves with the curves.
