"Taehyung-ah, come here! I have a surprise for you"

It had been almost a year since Taehyung had moved in with Jimin and his mother and the two were extremely happy with their living arrangements.

Both Taehyung and Jimin had still been working every day and saving up their money, Jimin planning and saving for the life in the future.

Taehyung hadn't spoken to his mother since he was kicked out of his house. He occasionally spoke to his sister now who divorced her husband but she had moved cities so it was harder for him. He was just thankful that she understood and believed him and so they were both on good terms again.

"Where are you, Jimin?" Taehyung questioned as he walked out of their bedroom.

"In the living room, hurry"

Taehyung shook his head at his boyfriend's impatience, leisurely taking his time to the living room. "What is it?"

He saw Jimin sat on the sofa, cross legged, using his laptop. "Come here" The older patted the seat next to him, a huge grin on his face. Taehyung did as he was told, taking a seat next to him.

Jimin handed him the laptop, telling him to read whatever was on the screen.

"Thank you for your downpayment on our one bedroom apartment. I would like to confirm your moving in date for.. 20th July" Taehyung immediately turned to look at Jimin, surprised and confused.

"Keep reading"

"If you are able to, please come in again any time this week to sign the contract and for another viewing of the house. It was a pleasure meeting you and I hope you and your partner will enjoy living in our apartment.. Jimin, did you rent an apartment?" Taehyung questioned.

Jimin smiled and nodded his head. "With the money we've both saved up, we can easily pay the years rent. And given our work situations, we'll have no problem paying the future rent either. Taehyung I want to live with you and spend the rest of my life with you. So will you move out with me?"

Hearing Jimin's words almost brought the younger to tears. How could someone be so sweet?

"Of course I will. I'd do and go anywhere with you, Jimin. I love you" He placed the laptop to the side before pulling his boyfriend into a hug, holding onto him tightly.

"I love you too. So much. Now, shall we go check the apartment out?"

"These are such heavy boxes" Taehyung whined as he dragged his feet into the apartment, trying to drop everything in his hands.

"Hyung, stop being so weak" Jungkook commented as he also entered with some boxes.

"Shut up, Kookie. You're carrying one box of pillows" Taehyung retaliated, frowning a little.

Their friends, Jin, Jungkook, Namjoon, Daehyun and Jaebum were all at the apartment helping to move boxes in and set up their rooms. The two were both very grateful for the help since they knew they wouldn't be able to do it by themselves.

"No need to fear, Hobi is here. I can help you all" Hoseok announced as he skipped through the door.

"Hyung, you're 30 minutes late. Where were you?" Jimin questioned, narrowing his eyes at the older.

Hoseok grinned widely before holding up a small plastic bag. "I brought cake! It's your moving in day, we have to celebrate somehow" He replied, causing Taehyung to chuckle. "How cute. Thank you, Hoseok hyung"

"No problem, Tae! Take a break, guys. It's cake time"

As they all sat down on the floor in a circle, Jimin's phone buzzed, receiving and incoming message. He smiled as he read the message, immediately standing up. "Wait. I have a surprise" He spoke, walking towards the door, confusing Taehyung.

"What is it?"

Jimin opened the apartment door, revealing a now blonde haired Yuna stood smiling. "Noona!" Taehyung exclaimed, surprised. He hasn't seen his sister in a long while.

"Hey, Tae. Did you miss me?"

The younger instantly pulled his sister into a hug, causing her to chuckle. "Is that even a question? Of course I did. How is it in Daegu? Seoul isn't the same without you" He pouted.

Yuna smiled, ruffling Taehyung's hair. "Apart from you not being there, Daegu is great. And.. I've actually started dating again" She said, slightly shy.

"Realky? Who is it? I wanna meet them!" Taehyung was happy for his sister, she deserved another chance at love.

"Here" Yuna handed her phone to Taehyung, the younger looking at the photo on her lock screen.

He was slightly taking aback to see a selfie of his sister with another girl. "You.. R-Really?" Taehyung smiled, surprised but genuinely happy.

"Yeah" Yuna simply replied, scratching the back of her neck, feeling quite shy still.

"I'm happy for you. You guys are cute. Now come on, we have cake. Let's eat and celebrate!" He said, grabbing his sisters hand and dragging her to the circle where the others were sat.

Taehyung let out a sigh as he fell back on his and Jimin's bed. He closed his eyes, covering them with one of his arms. He felt a sudden weight on the bed beside him but didn't move since he knew who it was.

A pair of arms wrapped around his torso, hands gently caressing his skin. "You know I love you, right?" Jimin's soft voice spoke, causing a smile to creep up on his face.

"I know. And I love you too"

"When I said before that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I really meant it. I want us to always be together, Tae"

Taehyung slowly removed his arm from his face, turning his head to look at the older. "What do you mean?"

Jimin smiled, pecking the younger's cheek before sitting up on the bed, grabbing something out of his pocket. In his hand, he had a small navy blue box, slowly opening it to reveal a silver ring.

Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he saw that, slowly sitting up in bed.

"J-Jimin.."

"Kim Taehyung, since I met you, I knew you were special. I know you were going through a hard time but you were such a precious human being who I knew I needed to have in my life. Something about you drew me in and pulled me closer to you and I'm glad that I've had this opportunity to know and love you. And I dont want to ever let you go. So,"

Jimin shuffled off the bed and proceeded to get down on one knee, holding out the ring in front of him.

"Kim Taehyung, would you finally make my life complete and marry me?"

Taehyung was at a loss for words. He was not expecting this at all. He stutered a little as he tried to formulate a response but instead he simply hugged the older, tears falling from his eyes.

Jimin chuckled, holding the younger in his embrace. "Can I take that as a yes?" He asked, Taehyung nodding his head.

He pulled back slightly, smiling at the younger before wiping his tears away.

"I really do love you, Taehyung. You deserve the best in life"

Taehyung smiled, gently pressing his lips against Jimin's.

"And that's exactly what I have"
