Appearance- A short, slightly chubby male with baby blue eyes that have a yellow ring around the pupil, making them appear green from a distance, with bright, thick, blond hair. Sometimes he'll wear glasses due to being minorly farsighted. He also has a fair amount of large, fern-like scars on certain parts of his body, specifically on his left cheek, forearms, back, right hip, left thigh, and right shin. Also has a long, thin scar running down his right arm.

Personality- Patrick's a softie. But he isn't...too soft. His general nature is soft and kind. He'll treat anyone with the basic respect a person deserves, no matter what he's been told about them. He's a guy to always give someone a chance, no matter the reputation. If they seem like a good person and someone he'd like, he won't judge them. He won't judge anyone unless they genuinely piss him off or do something bad. Maybe he's a little too trusting of people. Naïve, even. He can be very naïve at times, allowing him to be manipulated quite easily. Everyone has some good in them, right?
Patrick's sensitive. He takes everything to heart, specifically the bad things. If someone has something bad about him to say, that means he needs to change something. Or, at least, that's the way he thinks. If someone tells him they don't like his hair or something simple like that, that means there's something wrong with it, right? Part of that way of thinking is due to his major insecurity with himself. With what he does, with his looks, even with his feelings at times. Being insecure on top of the sensitivity leads to a lot of feeling bad about himself, especially if he knows someone is openly judging him.
He has a breaking point. This breaking point can either lead to three things; a mental breakdown, actually managing to stand up for himself, or both, usually one after the other. More often than not, it's the first, but sometimes he'll stand up for himself, depending on the situation and how bad he's been hurt. Patrick hates being hurt; he's scared of it, whether it's physically or emotionally or mentally. He's scared of it all. Standing up for himself is something he's also scared of; what if he hurts the other person? No matter what the other could have done, he despises hurting others. Punching someone? Nope. Yelling at someone? Nope. When he does yell, he'll often feel bad about it later. If he doesn't feel bad, then honey, you've got a big storm coming.
On the rare occasion that you've actually managed to somehow make Patrick despise you (you probably shattered his trust and some other things if you actually managed this), be prepared. Patrick is scary when he's mad. He doesn't think when he's feeling a lot of emotions at once, or a lot of one emotion, so anything could happen. He might actually punch something, even maybe the person he hates. More than likely though, he'll resort to slapping instead of punching. Most of his comebacks are witty sass and carefully crafted remarks, and those aren't reserved for just when he hates someone. Just any time when he's annoyed or pissed off. Sometimes they can be rather childish, but that doesn't matter to him. It's at least something. But more often than not, he'll sit and take it, unless something makes him snap.
Overall, Patrick's a nice guy, with some built in sass and a sensitive soul. He gives everyone a chance, no matter what he's heard about them. Lots of emotions at once, or just a lot of emotion, can make him not think and possibly do something rash. At times, often when meeting someone new, he can be a little shy, but he often gets over it quickly. His anxiety can make him overthink the most simple situations, or any situation, really. But the good thing is that he's aware of it. He knows he overthinks, he knows about his anxiety, which means that he can hopefully work on making it a little better.

Quirks- He has some unusual fears: aichmophobia and astraphobia (fear of knives/sharp things and the fear of lighting and thunder). Both are quite severe, both due to childhood accidents. He also cannot flirt for the life of him, instead preferring to compliment people straight out.

Flaws- 
-His emotional and sensitive tendencies. Most often he tends to cry over things, quite often. This often gives him the title of being a baby, which he doesn't like. He's trying to find different ways to express his emotions, but it's been coming out in bad ways, like going silent and bottling it up, pretending to be fine and happy, or even lashing out. 
-If someone really pisses him off, it's hard for him to stop. He may get downright brutal with his words, but won't often resort to physical means. Though, he does tend not to think when his emotions are all over the place.

Hobbies- Playing/writing music, daydreaming, and he's trying to get better at cooking and baking

Habits- Patrick tends to bite his lip when he's nervous, or thinking something over. He also pulls the sleeves of his shirts over his hands when he's nervous, or needs something to do with his hands

Backstory- Patrick grew up as an only child, his childhood generally happy. His parents were very protective of him, sort of babying him from the cruel outside world. When Patrick was only two years old, his mother left a knife out on the table, and the little boy at the time was curious to what it was, and, not knowing any better, reached up at it. He accidentally knocked it off the table, and it sliced down his bare arm. Ever since then, he's been terrified of knives. Then, when Patrick was sixteen, another tragic accident happened. He was walking home from a friend's house during a thunderstorm, and while he was walking, a bolt of lightning struck a pole that was next to him. It electrocuted him, almost killing him, but he survived. After the incident, he developed chronic BPPV, a type of vertigo. He gets dizzy spells occasionally, which can range from barely nothing to him fainting. The scars that were described earlier are also from the lightning strike. Patrick tries to hide it all, not wanting people to think he's weak because of it. When he came out as gay at seventeen, his mom wasn't very supportive, and still isn't to this day. After graduating high school, Patrick went off to undergraduate medical school, getting a degree in biology, and is now a med school student, trying to become an internal medicine doctor and pediatrician.

Step/Parents-
Mother: Angelina Harper- Patrick's mother. Was always the one to be over protective of him, still babies him to this day, thinking he's much more disabled than he is. She doesn't support his sexuality, often making passive aggressive remarks about it instead of coming straight out and saying it. He's been getting real sick of it lately.
Father: Jaymes Harper- Patrick's father. Always was a little more lenient with him, trying to let him do what he wanted. Though, he can never stand up to Patrick's mother, his wife. He supports Patrick thoroughly and tries to ignore the urge to baby the heck out of him, but sometimes it happen. He can't help it, he doesn't like seeing his son hurting.
