Woooo made it to chapter 20! lets do this!

Nico's POV

The voice echoed through the room. I watched as Percy fell to the floor, head in hands, shaking.

"PERCY GET THE FUCK UP WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" I had no choice but to say that.

He looked up at me. "What?"

"You heard me you son of a bitch. Get your ass up and think of something before we all die." Tears came to my eyes. "Do you really just want to watch me die? Is that it? You gave up on us? On me?"

He looked heartbroken and then said. "I'm trying Nico. But I dont know what to do."

"Did you not hear me? Think of something! You are so much smarter than people say you are."

He got up and looked around the whole room again. There was nothing. The room was bare.

*1 hr timio skipio*

The rope around my neck tightened. Or at least started to.

"Percy!"

He saw and tried so hard to think of something. I started to choke. Grover was hyperventilating.

"Pe-Percy c-come on."

They grew tighter quicker than I expected. Percy was frantic. He started screaming. He fell to his knees and pulled on his hair. He kept screaming.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

I couldnt respond. I couldnt breathe.

Percy's POV

Dead

Alone

Helpless

Drowning

Choking

Dying

They wont leave my head. They clouded my thoughts. I looked up and saw Nico choking. I didnt know what to do. I took Riptide out and reached forward. I didnt want to do this the whole time. I leaned forward and put the tip to the rope on his neck. I gently sliced through it but gave Nico a small cut in the process. He gasped.

"Why.... didnt... you.... do.... that.... sooner?"

I sliced off the other bonds.

"I didnt want to hurt you. They keep telling me your either dead or dying or to kill you. I was scared that I might slice your neck. But then I took the risk."

He looked up at me and smiled. I missed his smiles so much. He got up slowly and walked to me. He leaned forward and I did too and we kissed through the bars. He grabbed my shirt and pulled me closer I had my hands around his face. I heard Grover fake gag and smiled. He pulled off first and said.

"Ok. We gotta get you two out now. Im gonna hate this." He shadow traveled to a dark spot in my cage and pulled me over. We were out of the cage now.

"Wow. That felt weird."

He went into Grovers cage but stumbled when he entered. When they came out, Nico collapsed. I caught him just in time.

"Nico! Wake up!"

"Perce calm down. He just used way too much energy."

I sighed and picked him up bridal style. Grover smiled at me.

"What now?"

"He looks so cute in your arms like that."

"Haha yeah he does."

*Timero skippppz*

No use in finding a way out. Then I heard Sir Douche Alot again.

"You cant escape here. Your trapped without Nico. He's the only one capable of getting you out. When he wakes he can take one and one only out then never return."

"Gods dammit. What now?"

"I will send in a challenge. Whoever surrvives can leave with Nico."

A panel opened up on the floor. Out came armor for two, and a sword. I uncapped Riptide. We put on our armor and Grover picked up the sword. I set Nico down gently in the corner.

"Look man, I serriously dont want to do this. I'll gladly let you take Nico out of here."

"No. I cant have it that way. I'll feel too guilty. We both fight for real and not try to sacrifice oursleves."

"Deal."

A panel on the wall opened. And out came someone decked in full armor, a poisoned sword and bow and arrows on their back. One word escaped my mouth.

"Annabeth."

I know, I know, we all knew it was gonna be her. but I didnt know who else to put there. anyway. AHEM
