It was a cold and foggy morning. The loud sound of a ship's bell / horn could be heard. Then through the fog there was a young Willy Wonka who had been traveling the seas for years in search of this city which he could now see on the horizon. He sang a song as he boarded off the ship and walked around the city.

Meanwhile in the Laundry House, Rose woke up early that morning to her mother shouting her and Noodle's names. "ROSE! NOODLE! GET UP! ITS TIME TO GET TO WORK YOU WORTHLESS BRATS!" Rose then quickly got to her feet and got ready.

She and Noodle had separate rooms. Although it wasn't always like that. They shared a room up until Rose turned 16. Because that's when Mr Bleacher started raping Rose and of course they didn't want Noodle to hear it so Rose was moved into her own room. This made Rose even more lonely and she missed rooming with Noodle.

Rose quickly put on a tattered pink dress, flats, and tied her long reddish blonde hair up with a ribbon.
Then she hurried to where the staff lined up for roll call everyday. Abracus, Piper, Lottie, and Larry were already there. Noodle made it there the same time as Rose did.

"Rose! Noodle! It's about time! You're both late once again! You better not have snuck to each others rooms to talk in the middle of the night again!"
Mrs Scrubbit yelled at them.

Both Rose and Noodle got a bit nervous with guilty looks on their faces because they obviously had done that. They sneak to each other's rooms every night to talk. That's why they usually take longer to get up in the morning.

Mrs Scrubbit saw the looks on their faces which gave away that they had in fact been continuing to sneak to each other's rooms at night to talk. She became furious.

"You did didn't you?! I can tell by the looks on your faces! That's it! As punishment your jobs for today will be cleaning and scrubbing the floors and walls of every room in the laundry house! Next time you brats are gonna be thrown into the coop! Understand?!"
She yelled at them.

Rose and Noodle nodded their heads slowly and then got to work. They got all the cleaning supplies and then started scrubbing everything. Rose then decided to lighten the mood by singing a song,

Rose then started to dance around with a mop, pretending she was like a princess dancing at the ball with her prince. Noodle giggled at this and joined in dancing with a broom and sung with her,

After they finished the song they were giggling a lot, feeling better already. The song made Rose feel very hopeful about her dreams coming true and hoped it did the same for Noodle.
Unfortunately Mrs Scrubbit overheard them and came storming in.

"WHATS THIS?! GOOFING OFF ON THE JOB?! THATS IT! TO THE COOP WITH BOTH OF YOU WORTHLESS BRATS!"
She screamed at them and then grabbed both of them and threw them into the coop and locked it.

Noodle then turned to Rose sadly.
"While your song was nice, dreams can't come true for people like us. Its best if we accept that..."

Rose sighed.
"Maybe your right Noodle...I don't know..."

Rose held back tears. She didn't want to believe that what Noodle was saying was true, but it didn't seem like her dreams or wishes would ever come true.

They were let out of the coop later on and told to finish their chores which they did.
Once they finished they were reading their favorite books. Then suddenly they heard a commotion out front and Mrs Scrubbit was yelling for Noodle.

"Uhhh I'll be right back." She said to Rose and the went to see what Mrs Scrubbit wanted.
She then came back a moment later.
"Well? What's going on?" Rose asked.

"Mrs Scrubbit wants me to get a glass of gin of our guest."
Noodle told her as she went to the get the glass of gin.

"Guest?..."
Rose said quietly.
It had been quite a long while since they had a guest. Rose decided to take a peek since she wasn't allowed to go out and meet any visitors.

She took a peek through the hatch that was behind the main counter. She saw her mother and Mr Bleacher talking to a young man. He was kind of tall and had long dark hair, hazel eyes, pale skin, and the cutest smile she'd ever seen. He was also wearing a top hat and long coat with a scarf and had a cane.

Rose couldn't take her eyes off him. He was so handsome. Then Noodle walked past her with glasses filled with gin. She saw how Rose was watching the young man and smirked. Then she brought out the gin.

It turned out the young man's name was Willy Wonka and he was an aspiring chocolatier. He told them his plans to unveil his chocolate tomorrow at the gallerie gourmet. He then went searching through his hat for some but kept pulling out other things instead.

Rose giggled and sighed. He was so sweet and funny. She never had chocolate before but was sure his was probably the best. She wished she could get closer to him and talk to him. But her mother would never allow that.

Then Noodle suddenly had came back there.
"You like him don't you?" She asked and Rose jumped up startled.
"Noodle you gave me a fright! But to answer your question uh maybe I do a little bit..."
Noodle then gave Rose a look knowing that wasn't completely true.

"Ok I do a lot." Rose admitted.
"He's just so cute. I wish I could talk to him but you know my mother would never let me."

Noodle was about to say something about that when suddenly they heard Mrs Scrubbit giving Willy the contract for his room. They both knew about her scheme and didn't want Willy to fall for it.

They both poked their heads out from the hatch "Read the small print!" They said to Willy at the same time. Willy looked up "Huh?"

Then he saw the both of them. He was surprised to see another girl there which was Rose. She looked so beautiful to him and he wondered who she was. Their eyes met and it seemed like they were staring at each other for more then a minute. It was love at first sight.

Then Mrs Scrubbit quickly shut the hatch. She told Willy to ignore them and said Noodle had orphan syndrome. Willy questioned about the other girl but Mrs Scrubbit told him there was no other girl and that the gin must be getting to his head.

Willy read the rest of the contract including the small print. Mr Bleacher was coming up behind him but stopped as soon as he saw Willy signed the contract. Then Mrs Scrubbit rung the bell and brought him to his room.

"Oh poor Willy.. he doesn't know what's going to happen to him.."
Rose said to Noodle sadly knowing he'd signed the contract.

"Well we tried to warn him."
Noodle responded as she was still reading her book.

Then they heard Mrs Scrubbit calling their names "Noodle & Rose! Oh Noodle & Rose!"

They appeared in front of her.
"Yes Mrs Scrubbit?" They said at the same time.

"I've been looking for you both." Mrs Scrubbit told them.

"What do you want mother?" Rose asked.

Mrs Scrubbit looked furious and she started hitting Rose.

"Ow!" cried Rose.

"Rose don't ever call me that! I've told you before that I don't want to be addressed as the mother of a worthless ugly brat like you! And I want to teach you and this miserable bookworm a lesson!""

She then grabbed both of them by their ears, kicked open the coop and threw them both in.
"If either of you ever interfere in my business again you'll be in the coop all week! Understand?!"
She shouted angrily at them.

"Yes Mrs Scrubbit, Sorry Mrs Scrubbit." They said sadly. Mrs Scrubbit then slammed the door shut and locked it. Leaving them both stuck in there once again.

Rose stayed quiet the whole time they were in there and cried quietly. She was so hurt by her mothers words and of course had bruises from being hit.
But she also couldn't stop thinking about Willy.

And soon of course Mr Bleacher came for Rose and brought her to her room. Noodle wondered what he always wanted Rose at night for, but Mr Bleacher wouldn't say and told Noodle to mind her own business.

Rose suffered the rest of the night at the hands of Mr Bleacher raping her, but she still thought about Willy the whole time.
