BTS' SHADOW SELVES
As a lover of all things "Jung," you can bet your sweet Aunt Biffy that I'm back at it with another Carl Jung-inspired post. lol This time, I learnededed about our Shadow Selves. And since BTS makes everything 3000 times more interesting, I'mma let you all know what I learned about BTS' Shadow Selves.
First, what is a Shadow Self?
Also known as our Shadow Functions, in really basic terms, it's your dark side. I don't care HOW good you think you are, EVERYBODY has a dark side, even our seven "perfect" angels. The Shadow Self is normally repressed; it chooses to come out during times of extreme stress, and essentially, it's the opposite of who you usually are. But as BTS tried to teach us, or really just Namjoon and maybe Yoongi, you gotta face your shadows in order to be whole, healthy and move forward.
Also, for the most part, whenever someone is healthy, they aren't going to be stuck in their Shadow. So what I'm about to tell you about BTS only applies to when they are being their Shadow Self - or the very worst, most unhealthy version of themselves.
They good people. Don't worry. Relax. It's fine.
So in Myers Briggs, there are 8 different functions (though each type primarily uses 4) that all the types use in different ways that make up their unique personality, of which there are 16 kinds. In order to find your Shadow Self, ya just gotta find your type, find your function stack, and then reverse them. (Or basically just flip the letters to the opposite ones, yo.)
We'll use me as an example, cuz I'm so flavorful.~
I am an INFJ. This means that, normally, I rely on Introverted Intuition (the ability to listen to people and the world around me to form patterns and figure out what people are thinking or what's gonna happen... so basically I'm a psychic. sup?), Extroverted Feeling (which just basically means I'm super empathetic and i'mma cry like 24/7 if you're sad so i'mma do all I can to make you happy), Introverted Thinking (which means I can think logically as well as emotionally but don't really trust my own thinking; I need your approval in order to use my brain so decisions are hard for me) and Extraverted Sensing (means I live in my head and I don't like loud noises or crowded places or i'mma shit my pants).
BUT when my Shadow Self comes out to play, I turn briefly into an ESTP. That's when my four functions are flipped on their heads. So instead of my Extraverted Sensing coming last, it becomes my dominant function and instead of cowering away from crowds of people, I dive right in (which stresses me right out). Then my Introverted Thinking kicks it up a few thousand notches, and I stop listening to people, and just decide to make my own decisions, fuck what everyone else thinks, I'm way smarter than the whole world. (See how our Shadows are dicks?) Suddenly, my Extraverted Feeling takes a backseat, and I stop giving a shit about other people's feelings, because mine are most important after all, right? (Wrong.) And lastly, my Introverted Intuition all but jumps ship. Since I ain't paying attention to anybody but me, someone could come up and bash me over the head with a frying pan and I'd never even see it coming. (I also become a hyper NUT JOB. I know this from experience. I work NONSTOP. I OVERDO everything. I get into fights when normally I avoid them. I only see the bad in people, ignoring the good. I get selfish. I talk WAY TOO MUCH when normally I'm the world's #1 best listener.)
While it ain't bad to be an ESTP, it IS bad to be an ESTP if you are an INFJ. Cuz it ain't natural, it ain't sustainable and it's fighting against the very core of who you are. It's very stressful, and after an X amount of time, you will break and you will shut down until you get a grip on that Shadow Bitch.
In the past, my Shadow Self is probably the bitch responsible for the issues I had with overexercising and the HORRIBLE ATTITUDE I had as a teenager. I'm much better now, thanks for asking. lol
But anyway, so yeah. I'mma now do this all over again, for all 7 members, so we can see what they are REALLY like when push comes to shove.
Buckle your seatbelts, bitches. It's time to explore BTS' bad sides.
First of all, this again:

Those are their MBTI types. Who they are naturally, heathyily. <-- New word. Just invented it. Feel free to use it. Anyway, if you wanna know what all that means, rewind your booty to the chapter of this book entitled: PERSONALITY SHIPPING. Or just Google it. Or basically just picture BTS' personalities. You're an ARMY. You know these boys. You know how they are. I ain't gonna explain that today. Too much work. I'mma JUST focus on how their functions flip onto their assholebuns and see how different they become under stress.
LESS GET IT!
RM, SUGA, JUNG KOOK - ESTJ Shadow
As always, these three lovely doves share the same personality type (though they all 3 have very different personalities. that's a subject for another time. i ain't explaining that here either lol) so we're going to do them first. What I say here applies to all three of them under stress.
Their normal, healthy, INFP functions:
1. Introverted Feeling - This means their feelings are very deeply rooted inwardly. They're very sensitive and can hurt deeply but they can also be very empathetic because they know what true pain feels like and they don't wanna cause it in other people. They value honesty and hate when people are fake. They rely on "gut feelings." They are private with their emotions. They are individualistic and don't like it when society tells them how to look, talk, dress or act. They don't want to force their beliefs on others. You can't always tell what's going on in their heads; they are hard to read.
2. Extroverted Intuition - Extroverted Intuition is basically noticing the hidden meanings in the world and interpreting them. They are able to see all possible outcomes of any one event, so basically they're aware of the consequences for each of their (and other people's) actions. They are drawn towards the mysteries of life and wanna figure them out like a puzzle. They like to brainstorm with others. They focus on the future and sometimes forget about the present. Very open minded. They see how everything is connected. They like challenges.
3. Introverted Sensing - It calms them down to go over and over an event in their head until they figure it out. Not just bad ones, they love reliving good old memories in their head as well. They like routine and structure. They learn from their mistakes quickly because they're so self aware. They're good at remembering little details about people and events. They know when something is out of place. They like facts, yo. They have good senses of humor... but they don't always share it and can surprise people with it.
4. Extroverted Thinking - They good at telling people what to do so that shit gets done. They don't procrastinate. They want everything to be fair and even. They sometimes think out loud. They like things organized and liked to be prepared for events. They're good at making final decisions. They like planning things. They want to feel that they are good enough at whatever task they take on (and that everyone else is too).
Healthy INFPs are extremely empathetic, gentle, and compassionate individuals. They care for the persecuted and marginalized people of the world and strive to help them. They are honest and driven by their morals to live a life that adheres to their values. They are creative and insightful, slow to judge others yet holding themselves to a high standard. (e.g. picture Yoongi donating all that meat to the poor; Namjoon's big heart always trying to help everyone become their best self; Jungkook crying so easily when one of his loved ones are upset.)
Their unhealthy, demonic, Shadow-licious ESTJ functions:
1. Extroverted Thinking - They turn VERY competitive and make quick, brash decisions. Instead of taking other peoples (or their own) feelings into account, they just think logically, and don't care who it hurts. They no longer listen to their "gut feelings." This can make them come across as cold-hearted when faced with their Shadows.
2. Introverted Sensing - Instead of imagining alllll of the possibilities, they start thinking in terms of more concrete, "black and white" or "good and bad" and therefore their senses of judgement become very hindered and impaired because they ignore all the gray area in between where the right answer may lie.
3. Extroverted Intuition - They start to overthink shit when they're alone, but no longer in that healthy, relaxing way they previously enjoyed. Instead, they do it almost obsessively, judging the shit out of everyone and pinning blame on others. They start thinking they're better than others and they prefer the world they created in their heads to the one out there in the real world with all the fakes and idiots. They stop listening to others and write them off as not even worth their time.
4. Introverted Feeling - Act first, think later. A lot of people can be hurt in the process when they stop thinking things through all the way. They stop relating their feelings with other people's feelings. Their feelings are more important than others'.
Destructive INFPs are self-absorbed, self-righteous, and waver between being passive and extremely judgmental. They enjoy living in their fantasies but care little for the practical realities of daily life. They may neglect their loved ones and family members and instead prefer to live in a world of their own making. In essence, they abandon everyone who holds them dear. They may consider themselves more morally superior or "righteous" than others, married to their idealism to such an extent that any and everyone in the real world seems flawed and disappointing. They may retreat from the world and silently judge everyone they see. Over time, they may become increasingly harsh and condemning of people in their lives. They may become so obsessed with their own ideals and fantasies that they shun or berate anyone who tries to find a way into their hearts.
(e.g. picture Yoongi getting pissed off and holing off to himself, keeping everyone he deems "bad" at bay; Namjoon getting stressed and focusing too much on his work, staying away from others and snapping at anyone who comes close because he's on edge; Jungkook lost in his fantasy world, letting other people do their own thang while he's content to play X-Box until the bungcrack of dawn and getting mad and stressed if someone tries to stop him or "make" him do something he doesn't wanna do.)
J-Hope - INTP Shadow
His normal, healthy, ESFJ functions:
1. Extroverted Feeling - This means that not only does Hoseok pay a LOT of a attention to how the people around him are feeling, but also the feelings he gets about other people. This makes him often quick to judge and he is naturally drawn towards other people that he deems awesome, fun, good, what have you. He will change his behavior to suit whoever he is around in the interest of helping each individual person to the best of his ability. He also has the desire to be seen as warm and good by others and will make decisions based on feelings alone.
2. Introverted Sensing - This means Hoseok will often look to the past to see how things turned out to figure out how he should act in the future. He'll see what worked and what didn't work and know how to go from there. He also looks for the solution that is the most socially acceptable so that people will not like him any less for a decision he makes.
3. Extroverted Intuition - This one basically makes it so that Hoseok is always looking for the good in people. Just because some people may deem other people as "bad," Hoseok will look further and give everyone a fair chance to prove themselves. It gives him an open mind so that he can come up with creative solutions to problems that other people might overlook and it helps him achieve his goals.
4. Introverted Thinking - This means he can be naturally critical of others since his mind is always figuring them out and trying to come up with facts about them. It also means that while he's perfectly capable of coming up with facts, he ain't the best at putting together too many loose pieces of information (such as anything theoretical) and keeping them together in his brain. Notice how when they play trivia games or things like that, Hoseok just sorta puts on a "thinky" face and shuts down.
Healthy ESFJs: Healthy ESFJs are empathetic, compassionate, and hard-working. They easily relate to other people and do what they can to make them feel understood and accepted. They are practical and hands-on in their communities, eager to improve the lives of others. They are honest and boundless in their generosity and care for others. (e.g. picture Hoseok working hard to make everyone around him happy, even when he's tired or has needs of his own. It honestly makes him happy to make others happy.)
His unhealthy, satanic, Shadow Bitch INTP functions:
1. Introverted Thinking - He becomes detached from people and their feelings and just focuses on facts. He won't let other people know what he's going to do and won't care what they think of his decision. He won't talk as much (that'd be a huge tip off something ain't right with Hoseok lol). He'll start arguments when normally he avoids them. He becomes independent when normally he loves having someone to do stuff with. He can't explain why he made a decision and will become short with people if asked to do so.
2. Extroverted Intuition - He loses touch of what other people care about basically and just starts putting things together in his mind the way HE sees them and other people have a hard time keeping up with his line of thinking. He can get rambly at times and jump from one topic to the next. So instead of letting others show him how they are or how things are, he looks ONLY for reasons why he knows he's right, no longer opening up his mind to the possibility that he could be wrong about someone or something.
3. Introverted Sensing - Hoseok will get prone to nostalgia or stuck in the past, thinking things were better "in the good old days." In contrast, he may also at times think some things are better or more exciting now and some past memories will be remembered as bleak in comparison.
4. Extroverted Feeling - His magical ability to make others happy suddenly goes POOF! It's just gone. He can no longer really get a feel for how those around him are feeling or how he should act in a social situation. It suddenly feels overwhelming to care so much about others as he's used to, so he stops. He'll actually start being MEAN to people that interfere with his beliefs.
Destructive ESFJs are manipulative, controlling, and prone to gossip. They adopt the beliefs of the people around them and bully anyone who lies outside of that value system. They may enjoy spreading rumors if it allows them to gain approval from authority. They are the "teacher's pet" and constantly seek praise from the people they respect. They will have pity parties for themselves whenever they don't get the praise they were expecting. They may be passive-aggressive, two-faced, and dishonest. Anyone who doesn't believe in their traditionally accepted views is mocked, ridiculed, or gaslighted. They need attention and approval constantly from the people in their lives and will become easily angered over any perceived slight or anything that takes the place of their attention. They will berate anyone who doesn't follow "the rules" even if those rules are corrupt. (e.g. picture Hoseok telling ARMY to focus "only on him" and him getting upset or even volatile when he's upstaged by other members or feeling ignored.)
Jin - ESFJ Shadow
A/N: I just freaking noticed that Jin and Hoseok have opposite personality types. So basically it's Freaky Friday in the BTS house when they're stressed because Hoseok enters Jin's body, and Jin enters Hoseok. Oh God! Imagine Hoseok laughing like Jin and Jin laughing like Hoseok. No, don't do it. I just did. It's weird.
His normal, healthy, INTP functions:
1. Introverted Thinking - He wants to figure out how everything works in his eyes first and foremost and will know right away if something is "off." He spends a lot of time in his head and is very organized on the inside, even if he comes across as "laid back" on the outside. He's very independent and is comfortable going off on his own since he doesn't NEED others to guide him; he trusts his own mind. He doesn't like being rushed into anything. He always thinks before he speaks so that he can say just what he wants to and nothing he doesn't. He makes decisions on his own, without regard to others.
2. Extroverted Intuition - Jin's mind forms connections constantly, so when he talks he can jump from one subject to the next because in his mind it was logically connected, though others may fail to see the connection and think he's scatter-brained. He sees never ending possibilities in his mind. Do try and keep up.
3. Introverted Sensing - Jin puts the world in a box. He gathers all the info he can and uses it to shape his view of the world. As such his memory is huge and there's little he won't remember and put into practical use later on in life.
4. Extroverted Feeling - Jin wants to be able to use what he knows to help other people. He wants to somehow make the world a better place. He's not the best equipped at dealing with feelings (of himself or others) and that may cause him to isolate like a true introvert until he's better able to handle them. He kind of numbs himself to his own feelings and so he doesn't usually recognize them in others right away either. Feelings freak him out and may make him freeze up because he doesn't want to offend anyone by accident.
Healthy INTPs are curious, creative, and logical. They are open-minded towards others and are driven to explore theoretical concepts in great depth. They are objective, fair, and non-judgmental. The healthy INTP thinks outside the box, forms innovative connections, and is an excellent problem solver. They balance careful logic with a quiet concern for the feelings of others. (e.g. picture Jin taking care of the others like an absolute boss and not making a big deal out of it at all and how (even though we all picture him as funny and loud) if you pay attention to him, he does spend a lot of time quiet, observing shit and you just know something's going on in that handsome brain of his - but we may never know what.)
His unhealthy, unnatural, Shadow Slut ESFJ functions:
1. Extroverted Feeling - Since it ain't natural for Jin to always be worried about everyone around him, when his Shadow Biotch forces him to do so, it doesn't make him loving and happy and empathetic. It makes him short with anybody to impede on his good time and slams the door in the face of anyone who threatens to ruin his peace. He may even say things just because he knows it will hurt someone.
2. Introverted Sensing - He gets a little too "stuck in his box" and stops taking in new information, instead relying on what he already knows and thinking he "knows-it-all." He'll think other people are stupid for not understanding what he does or just shut people out and act like he's the only one that matters or even exists.
3. Extroverted Intuition - He may start to feel judged by the way others perceive him or start to feel misunderstood. He'll be less able to see the big picture as this function drops in dominance. He'll start to fuck shit up just to see what happens.
4. Introverted Thinking - When faced with his Shadow, he puts his first thang last, and so he'll stop thinking of things so logically and it'll become more emotional. This will cause him to be critical of others or even belittling or mean.
Evil INTPs are haughty, careless, and so absorbed in their own world and ideas that they ignore and neglect the people in their care. They look down on "the mass" for being less intellectual or "enlightened" than they are. They avoid responsibilities and ignore loved ones, drifting into their own isolated world. Anyone who tries to join them in their world is shunned or treated with silent passive aggression. They ignore any kind of moral code; everything is about cause and effect and experimentation. They may even toy with people just to see what happens; using them like tools or objects to use and cast aside. Harsh words are often spoken by them, but they care little about the emotional impact of those words. Their lives and wishes revolve around being left alone to tinker and experiment. INTPs when they are under stress and cannot seem to solve the problem with their dominant thinking function, will revert down the line until they end up at their inferior function. The INTP will become far too focused on the way other people are perceiving them, and might lash out because of this. They will feel incapable of figuring out the problem at hand, which will cause them to focus more on how the people around them are potentially judging or misunderstanding the INTP. (e.g. picture Jin acting better than someone - that's hard for me to picture though - or freaking out on someone - that's easier for me to picture lol.)
Jimin - ISTP Shadow
A/N: Me and Jimin's healthy functions are exactly the same, just in a different order, but that order makes a big difference. I am very similar to him (the most similar to him than I am to any of them), but also VERY different.
His normal, healthy, ENFJ functions:
1. Extroverted Feeling - This is the same as Hoseok's above. Y'all mind if I copy and paste? rofl Jimin pays a LOT of a attention to how the people around him are feeling, but also the feelings he gets about other people. This makes him often quick to judge and he is naturally drawn towards other people that he deems attractive, funny, important, a good time etc. He will change his behavior to suit whoever he is around in the interest of helping each individual person to the best of his ability. He also has the desire to be seen as warm and good by others and will make decisions based on feelings alone.
2. Introverted Intuition - He's able to see how the world works, essentially. He can see the bigger picture of things, taking very abstract ideas and clustering it into a picture in his mind and he can then use that information to achieve his goals because he can somewhat predict what's gonna happen if he does a certain thing based on how he knows the world works.
3. Extroverted Sensing - This function supports the above one in a way. It makes it so that Jimin gets a lot of joy out of figuring people and and the world out. It gives him a TON of confidence. Even though he'd rather plan ahead, he's confident that he can figure things out or "wing it" since he is always so in tune with what's going on around him.
4. Introverted Thinking - Same as Hoseok's again. Never noticed how similarly their minds worked before but now that I think of it, yeah. It's true. This means he can be naturally critical of others since his mind is always figuring them out and trying to come up with facts about them. It also means that while he's perfectly capable of coming up with facts, he ain't the best at putting together too many loose pieces of information (such as anything theoretical) and keeping them together in his brain. He'll usually get mad when they play trivia games and he can't figure out the answers.
Healthy ENFJs are intensely compassionate, empathetic, and hard-working. They believe in devoting their lives to the advancement of their fellow men and they strive to encourage and uplift anyone in their path. They are warm, generous, and understanding. They know how to inspire people to live up to their fullest potential and are careful not to be pushy or controlling with the people in their lives. (e.g. picture Jimin the little ARMY recruiting fairy, showing tons of love but also working so so hard to show us his best.)
His unhealthy, unnatural, Shadow Skank ISTP functions:
1. Introverted Thinking - He becomes detached from people and their feelings and just focuses on facts. He won't let other people know what he's going to do and won't care what they think of his decisions. He won't talk as much and appear sorta calculating. He'll start arguments when normally he avoids and even stops them. He becomes independent when normally he practically NEEDS to have someone to do stuff with. He can't explain why he made a decision and will become short with people if asked to do so. (Hoseok and him have this in common too. This may explain why BTS said they're both the scariest when angry but tbh, I'm scarier than both of them combined when angry. lol)
2. Extroverted Sensing - This makes Jimin a bit blind sided, choosing to divulge ONLY in the things that Jimin KNOWS to be good or safe or best. He'll stay far away from anything that he isn't sure will be BEST for him, and in doing so, he'd be shutting out a large portion of the world and of the people in it. It'd make him act sorta uppity, like he's better than others and avoid people who aren't good enough for him.
3. Introverted Intuition - When this got bumped down, suddenly Jimin is thirsty AF to improve himself but he'll take it to an altogether unhealthy level. We've seen him do this before with starving himself for 10 days to "become more handsome," with beating the shit outta himself until he's "perfect," and with seeming not to know what to do without himself when he isn't actively improving himself.
4. Extroverted Feeling - Again, it'd be the same thing Hoseok does here. Ctrl + V. hehe. His magical ability to make others happy suddenly goes POOF! It's just gone. He can no longer really get a feel for how those around him are feeling or how he should act in a social situation. It suddenly feels overwhelming to care so much about others as he's used to, so he stops. He'll actually start being MEAN to people that interfere with his beliefs.
Destructive ENFJs are dramatic, overbearing, and manipulative. They like to influence and push people to conform to their opinions and "vision." Their way is always the best way, and anyone who disregards their "friendly" advice is treated with passive-aggressive bullying. The evil ENFJ respects rank and authority, and treats those in authority with respect and eager attentiveness while looking down on people they believe are less "sophisticated" than themselves. They share other people's secrets without remorse and kiss up to anyone who can help them to advance their vision or idea for the future. They can seem incredibly kind and exuberant in person and then ridicule and mock you to others when you aren't around. (e.g. picture Jimin being a catty little bitch, friendly to your face, then as soon as you walk away he's side-eyeing you and then talking about you behind your back. I can see it. Can you?)
V - ISTJ Shadow
His normal, healthy, ENFP functions:
1. Extroverted Intuition - If you ever thought Taehyung's head was empty you are the exact opposite of right. In fact, his head is the fullest out of all of them. Everything and anything is collected in the data bank of his wild mind and his ideas don't seem to make sense to most others. But they make perfect sense to Tae because of the way that his extroverted intuition works. There's a lot of genius packed in a small space, and he sometimes has absolutely no idea what to do with it all.
2. Introverted Feeling - This means that Tae is very focused on trying to be a good person, doing what is right, and most importantly he wants others to treat him good. He listens to his feelings to guide his way and just trusts his "gut feelings" that he's right because it feels right. He's considerate of others' feelings and believes in the Golden Rule to treat others how you expect to be treated. He sometimes needs time alone to think about what is "right" and "wrong" to him. He wants to make sure he firmly believes in whatever he believes in without a doubt so that he doesn't mess up his image of himself. He hates things that seem shallow or fake. He will beat himself up over a past action if he thinks he did wrong.
3. Extroverted Thinking - He uses simple logic when solving problems. Doesn't usually take him long to find a better, simpler, easier way of doing things. This contradicts his other function to ruminate over his decisions ceaselessly, so he tends to do both, balancing quick, easy decisions with the harder ones that he likes to give more thought. It's a creative genius. So even though he'd rather have all the time in the world to make a decision, he is more than capable of making a good snap decision.
4. Introverted Sensing - This is a subconscious function for Tae. He isn't even aware that he's doing it, but he's constantly storing information about people into the back of his mind for future reference. This makes it so that he can be very thoughtful with people, without even trying. It also makes him really good at following instructions. On the flippity, it also makes him not the most reliable, consistent or best at putting his ideas into action.
The healthy ENFP is empathetic, imaginative, and innovative. They enjoy inspiring people and showing them all the amazing possibilities the world can provide. They are responsible for their relationships and selfless in their concern for others. They enjoy sticking up for people who are hurting, and they want to find innovative ways to improve the future for the next generation. They are friendly, open-minded, and enthusiastic. (e.g. picture Tae talking to ARMY late at night, usually young ARMY, counseling them about their problems and just being otherwise friendly to anyone that appreciates it.)
His unhealthy, freakish, Shadow Zombie ISTJ functions:
1. Introverted Sensing - He stops using that creative genius of his and just sticks to what he knows works and is too afraid to fuck with how things work. Suddenly everything becomes black and white and his world loses color. He may become trapped in the past or the old way of things and reluctant to move forward with changes, even becoming selfish and hurting people in order to keep things his way.
2. Extroverted Thinking - As soon as he decides something, he's going to cut all the corners to employ his decision as simply and quickly as possible. This can lead to rash decisions that aren't well thought through when he's in the head of thinking "he's right." He can even get competitive with others, trying to beat them to the punch as a way of saying "i'm better than you because i'm faster than you." He doesn't even care if it's perfect or good enough, as long as it's done quickest. He just wants to get everything over with.
3. Introverted Feeling - Instead of worrying so much about being a good person, he takes on the mindset that of course he is and anyone who does him wrong is a bad person. Simple as that. Whatever he believes in will become set in stone and unmovable. He'll let these feelings dictate how everything's going to go and no one can tell him he's wrong. Even if it causes him discomfort, he will do what he deems is best, no matter who it hurts.
4. Extroverted Intuition - When his Shadow eats his ass sexually, suddenly Taehyung is consumed by anxiety. He's afraid to try anything new and suddenly all those amazing thoughts in his head may become overwhelming and he'll try to avoid being in his head. It becomes a scary place and he'll want to focus instead on finding his happy pill instead, anything to numb the scary thoughts.
The destructive ENFP is manipulative, self-absorbed, and disloyal. They believe the world revolves around them and their interests and ideas. They only care about others in terms of how much they can get out of them. They jump from one idea or relationship to the next, flaking on plans and shirking responsibilities without a second thought. Inspiration and stimulation become everything to unhealthy ENFPs, and they will try to attain it by any means, even if it means deceit or immoral acts. They are so sure of their own visions that they lash out at anyone who opposes them or questions their abilities. They forget their own body's requirements and may become increasingly self-destructive as they ignore their health and nutritional needs. (e.g. picture Tae Tae shutting down when he's upset and instantly going cold on people until they make it right with him.)
This took me 4 hours to research. COVID-19 be like: "Hey, nerd. Nice life you got there. Y'ain't got nothin' to do, do ya? Hmm. Sucks to suck."
