-Thirteen-
"What brought that on?"
"Maybe I just wanted to see you"

Kenna smiled as she saw Bobby. He looked to her. "I missed you last night," he said.
Kenna smiled. "I missed you too. You were at a meeting and I was sleeping. Haven't been sleeping much lately. If you get my drift," she mumbled.
"Oh I do."
Kenna smirked and looked to him. "Good to know cap. I'll see you in a little bit," she said as she walked off to get changed into her uniform.
Bobby stood there watching her. He knew she had changed him. She had brought out a side of him he never knew he had. He knew that he was always going to love and miss his wife. But Kenna had made him see that he could love again.
Bobby looked to see Buck as he walked in with Ellie. The two of them smiled to each other. "Hey cap. Have you seen Kenna?" Buck asked.
"Getting changed. Why?"
Buck shrugged. "No reason. Just wanting to see if she's okay," he said as he shared a look with Ellie.
Ellie rolled her eyes. "Buck. Don't even go there. You're just clutching at straws," she said as she walked to make herself some coffee.

Kenna sat in the back of the engine as they went to their incident. A fire had broken out at a school. Bobby smiled to Kenna as he helped her out of the engine. "Stay safe in there," he said as he discreetly squeezed her hand.
"Always. Make sure you come back to me too."
Bobby watched as Kenna walked into the building with Buck. He stayed with Ellie to run point and keep an eye out for anymore breakouts of fire.

Kenna and Buck were in the cafeteria area of where the fire had started. She frowned. "This doesn't seem normal. Like what is it?" She asked.
"I don't know."
Kenna was about to speak when they saw a young boy standing in front of them. He had a lighter and a gas can. Kenna frowned. "You should be outside," she said. Although it was obvious that the young boy in front of them had started the fire.
"They were supposed to die! They're nothing but bullies! They needed to die," the boy said.
Kenna frowned but it was Buck who spoke. "You were bullied? You don't want to do this."
"I want them all to die. They don't deserve to live. Not while I've been dying inside for so long. They ruined my life and I want them to pay," he said.
Kenna looked to him. She heard screaming coming from within in the cafeteria. "Do you have them locked in there?" She asked.
"Yeah. And so I suggest you turn and leave. Or you're going down with them. I'm not above taking out some firefighters to get what I want."
"You don't want to do this."
"I do. I want them to suffer. I want them to feel the pain I've had to endure. My name is Dean West. And I'm going to go down in history," he said as he threw gas on the door.
Kenna said absolutely nothing as she saw him throwing the lighter towards the door. She quickly ran towards it to grab it before it could get near the door.
Buck tackled Dean to the floor. His screams echoing in the corridor. Kenna managed to unlock the door and let the kids out.
"Buck. Kenna. The fire is out on the west side of the school. What's your status? Over."
"Yeah cap. We apprehended the guy who started the fire before he could start another. Coming out now. Have LAPD ready. Over."
Kenna turned to the young boy. "You've ruined your life. You know that don't you?" She said.
"I don't care. I wanted them all to die. To suffer," Dean said.
"You're the one who's going to suffer now," Buck told him as he took him outside.

Bobby was sitting in his office. He had just finished up writing the report. He looked up as Kenna walked in. She smiled and locked the door. "Kenna?"
"Everyone is upstairs. Waiting for you to cook. So I thought I'd come down here and see what you're up to," she said as she moved behind him and started massaging his shoulders.
Bobby groaned. "You shouldn't have locked the door."
"Why's that cap?"
"Because. It makes me want to do inappropriate things to you."
Kenna took a step back. Bobby stood from his seat. He took a step towards her. He grabbed her waist and pulled her against him. Kenna bit her lip at feeling so close to him. "Bobby."
"See. I can feel you wanting me."
"Well," Kenna said as she walked over to him. Bobby grabbed her hips and pulled her close. "Treat all your visitors like that?"
"Only one," Bobby said as he kissed her neck.
"I can always swing by for a private lunch sometime." She whispered pressing her lips to his neck.
"Yeah. With people who can easily just walk in? I don't think so."
Kenna looked to him and grinned. "Are you expecting anyone now?" She smirked, pulling herself from his neck to look at him.
"No. Flip the light off just in case someone knocks. Maybe if they think I'm not here they'll go away," Bobby smirked. "They'll think I'm out getting something for dinner."
Kenna rolled as she climbed off his lap, shimming out of her trousers on her path back from the light switch.
"You know Cap, a girl could get the wrong impression," Kenna teased, reaching between them to unfasten his pants as she straddled him again.
"Shut up, you're as turned on as I am." He smirked.
Kenna grinned and tugged his pants down, exposing him enough that she could lower herself onto him.
"See," Bobby said, attempting to tease her at how ready she had been for him, but it came out more as a breathy moan once she started moving.
"Shhh..." She teased, playfully covering his mouth with her hand as if to silence him.
Bobby rolled his eyes and thrusted up to meet her downward motion, eliciting a short gasp from her.
"Now who's being too loud?"
"You really want to see who can make the other make the most noise?" She asked, lifting a brow.
"I'll win." He smirked, knowing just how loud she could be.
"Would you really though? ...this isn't my office. I'm just the firefighter who got accosted by her captain."
Bobby chewed on his lip, not exactly wanting to concede to the gorgeous brunette impaled on him. The woman who was clearly waiting for him to do just that before she'd move again.
"No." He smirked, pulling her to his lips as they began to move together.
Both of their moans were muffled by the other's lips as she rode him, his hands tugging at her to grab onto her ass.
Her fingers interlocking in the hair on the back of his head, consciously making an effort not to disrupt the front he spent so long styling.
"Fuck..." She whispered, pulling her lips from his and bearing down harder when she felt her climax approaching.
Bobby pressed his lips back to hers, absorbing the soft moans she emitted as her body buckled against him, quietly grunting his own release.
Kenna hadn't moved from him, instead choosing to lay slumped against his chest as she caught her breath.
Her head was resting on his shoulder, his arms loosely wrapped around her. "You okay?" He asked.
Kenna nodded. "Yeah. Little out of breath. But yeah," she said. She pulled away from him. "Wow. Again."
Bobby looked to her and smirked. "Not that I'm complaining. What's brought this on?" He asked.
Kenna shrugged and smiled. "Maybe I just wanted to see you. Because I do believe that's what people in a relationship do," she said.

Kenna and Bobby walked into the kitchen area. Buck stood there with a grin on his face. "Oh Kenna my Kenna. You're looking glowing."
"Yes Buck. It's called a workout. You should try it sometime," Kenna said as she smiled to him.
Buck smirked. "Workout doing what though. We sent you to get cap to make dinner," he said.
Kenna rolled her eyes. "Pretty sure you capable enough to make a sandwich Buckley."
Bobby saw the smirk on Buck's face. He knew he needed to tell Kenna that he was onto them. But he also didn't want to potentially ruin everything that they had.
Neither were aware of how things were about to take a turn for the worst. And how things were about to be tested between them.
