I woke up the next morning to Jason shaking me. I open my eyes, letting them adjust to the light that is flooding into the room. My eyes finally focus on Jason and I sit up.

"Hey babe, sorry to wake you but I have to run into town for some business" he says getting off the bed and getting dressed. I yawn and rub my eyes.

"What business?" I ask him. I kinda slur it because you know, I'm still half asleep.

"Oh Dawn from California came up and is giving me all the money left over from the gang" He tells me while he slips on his shoes. Dawn was part of the gang that Jason took over, you know the one with 500 members, anyway Dawn was out of town that day so that is why he is still alive. And the money was all the money from the gang that was hide is different place and Dawn gathered up the money and is giving to us, since we are the leaders.

"Ok well be careful" I tell him while I get out of bed, putting Jason's t-shirt on my still naked body. I walk over to him and kiss him on the lips.

"I will, i love you and Mel is already fed and everything, she fell back asleep so you have so quite time to yourself" he says smiling. He is such a great father.

"Ok thanks, I love you to" I kiss him once more, he smiles and walks out of the bedroom, stoping in Melanie's room to kiss her on the head, and then down the hallway. Once I hear the door shut, I walk over to the wall, to where the control panel is. It controls all the locks and alarms of the whole house, Jason made sure we had one so when I'm alone, I'm safe.

I lock up the whole house, all the doors, windows and even the garage door and windows. I walk over to Mel's room to see her sleeping peacefully, I smile and walk back into my room take shower. I strip of Jason's t-shirt and step into the shower.

I spent about 20 minutes in there and decided to get out. I step out, wrapping the towel around me and going into the bedroom. I grab some clothes and put them on, I blow dry my hair and put it up in a messy bun.

I walk into Mel's room because she should be done with her nap. I see her laying there, starring at the ceiling, I laugh which causes her to look over at me.

"Hi princess" I say picking her up, kissing her on the head. She giggles and I walk over to her changing table. I put a fresh diaper on her and a cute little outfit, it was a little pink onesie that said 'Daddy Princess' on it with a crown on it. I slipped a little jean skirt on her and some pink socks.

I grab her blanket and head downstairs to the living room. I sit on the couch and hold her while I tickle her stomach, she giggles and makes weird little noises.

After a while I lay her down on her blanket that is on the ground and walk into the kitchen to get something to eat. I was making some salad when my phone rang.

"Hello" I say answering it.

"Hey Kelli" Tess says from the other line. I smile and continue making the salad.

"Hey whats up?" i ask as I chop some ham up to put in the salad.

"We need to talk" she says. When i hear this I lay the knife down and focus on her.

"Ok whats going on?" i calmly ask.

"I think I need to talk to you in person, i'll be over in a minute. And with that she hung up. I sigh and put my salad in the fridge, well it looks like I'm not going to eat anytime soon. A few seconds later I hear a knock on the door. I answer it and it is Tess.

"Hey, come in" I say, opening the door wider for her. She steps in and walks to the living room. She takes a seat down on the couch and I sit next to her.

"Ok, whats going on?" I ask looking at her.

"Your last name isn't Herman is it?" she asks. Herman is the name that we told them our last name was, to cover up our story. I sigh and shake my head no.

"I knew it, I saw you and Jason on the news" My head shoots up and I look at her with wide eyes.

"What did they say?" I ask. She crosses her legs and looks at me again.

"Just about how you killed and bombed and everything. That you two ran the most awesome gang in the U.S" she says. Shit, this isn't good.

"Look I can exp-"i was cut off my her laughing. I give her a weird look and she goes on.

"It's ok, Ray and I are in a gang" What? What the hell is going on?!

"What?!" I ask her rather loudly. She smiles and nods her head.

"Yea, Ray is the leader to the Stratford gang, and we know all about you two. When you first moved in I didn't think it was you, because I have never seen your faces, but now I put it all together" she smiles. Ok I didn't see that one coming.

"Wait so you two are in a gang?" I ask her, she smiles and nods. I would have never thought that they would be in a gang, let alone the leaders.

"So I was thinking, would you and Jason want to be in the gang, it would be more money and keep you safer" Tess asks me. My eyes widen, I can't be in a gang, not after what happened.

"I don't know, the people that did that to us are still out there and if they find out about you, i don't want to go through that again" i tell her. She nods and takes a breath in.

"Well, Ray isn't doing good, he's very sick and doesn't have much time left. He wants me to take over the gang, but I'm not capable of that, but Jason is, both of you can do it, please" she begs me. I look down at Mel who is playing with her toys. I promised her that nothing bad will happen to her, and begin in the gang with bring her harm.

"I don't know Tess, I will have to talk to Jason" I say. She nods and stands up.

"Well I have to pick Ray up from the doctors, talk to you later" She says giving me a hug. I hug her back and follow her to the door. I let her out and I walk back into the living room. I pick up Mel and hold her.

"I don't know what to do" I talk to her, like she will understand. She takes her hand and plays with my nose. I laugh and kiss her.

I was sitting on the couch still waiting for Jason, he has been gone for a while and I'm starting to get worried. I just fed Mel and she was up in her crib sleeping.

I was watching tv when the front door opened, I look and see that it is Jason. I get up and walk over to him, he had two huge duffle bags full of something, I guess its money.

"Hey what took so long?" I ask him. He sits the bags down on the floor and hugs me.

"Nothing just some other gang members run into us" he tells me. I pull back and look at him, I look over it body but he didn't have any cuts or bruises.

"Don't worry I didn't get hurt, they just wanted me to join there gang" he tell me. I nod and he walked into the kitchen, I follow him and lean on the counter.

"What did you say?" I ask him while I play with my nails. He takes a sip of his coke then puts it down on the stove.

"I told all of them no, the big Toronto gang wanted me, well both of us but I told them no too" I nod and so does he. Jason puts his coke back into the fridge and takes the bags down to the safe in the basement. I walk over to the couch and sit down, I have to tell Jason about what Tess said.

After a couple of minutes Jason comes up and sits next to me. He puts his feet on the coffee table and pulls me into his side.

"Hey Jay, I need to tell you something" I tell him. I sat up and face him.

"Your pregnant?!" he asks with excitement, I laugh and shake my head no.

"No, it's a about Tess and Ray" I tell him. He sits up straighter and focuses on me.

"Ok what is it?" I take a breath in and tell him.

"Tess found out who we really are and then she told me how she and Ray are in a gang and Ray is really sick and she wants us to take over to the gang" I say in one breath. Jason looks away and takes in everything I just said. It takes a couple of minutes for him to respond and when he does, he says this.

"Let's do it"
