Tap, tap, tap. The sound of footsteps echoed through the dimly lit and empty halls as the jet-black haired assassin continued, her eyes focused on her destination. Eclipse's fist was clenched, her dark grey wolf ears twitching slightly. She wasn't looking forward to meeting with her so-called 'master'. Soon, she stopped in her tracks. Before her towered two dark oak doors with large golden knockers. Eclipse knocked three times and waited until she heard the all-to-familiar "Enter."
   
    Quickly opening one door and stepping in, Eclipse shut the door just as quickly as she opened it. Inside the room was dimly lit by a few candles. The room had no windows and the walls were all made of stone. A single old wooden chair sat in the center of the room, the backrest made of long broken boards about seven feet tall. Upon the chair sat a dark shadow of a man, covered in a black cloak. White hair peeked out from the hood, while one grey eye glowed from below the shadows of the hood. It was him. Her master, Bristor.

    "Eclipse. I see you've finished your most recent mission. I already have your next one," came a deep gruff voice. Eclipse wouldn't dare speak without permission. "I've heard you need more practice when it comes to working with others. You will have a partner on your next mission."

    "But-" Eclipse tried to protest, only to be interrupted by Bristor.

    "You dare interrupt me?! Shut your mouth, lest you be punished for your misdeeds. You will go on this mission with a member of the Occisorn assassin group. His name is Tobias Malroni. He is a high ranking assassin, like yourself. You will meet with him to get the details. He will be here later today to meet with you at noon. Do not be late. Now go." Bristor dismissed her with a wave of his hand.

    Eclipse closed the door behind her after walking out of the dim room. She slid down the door, sitting against the door with her face in her hands, her mind racing. 'What the hell just happened?'
