It was a normal day of school. I was in 8th grade when it happened. The school was alerted to an outbreak of some kind of mutant flesheaters: Aka zombies. Then, we heard the ear piercing screams, sirens and blinding lights. Now, that was three years ago. When the world was still sane. A time of plentiful food and clean water. When life was pretty good. Now that's gone. Food is  scarce, and 66% of the human race was wiped out by the plague. Then the other 20% was wiped out by food shortages,  disease and The Wars. The rules of the world now: Kill or be killed, and Don't Trust ANYONE. Where are most of the grownups you may ask. Well, most parents, including mine, went off to The Wars. I made them promise to come back. But they never did. I live on my own and, like everyone else, I am on the run from the "Infested." Someone had to record the horrible history of the Outbreak, but it's not like it will change anything. This will be my last entry. They're coming! The infested are here!
