****** ALEXIS' P.O.V.******

After that, I felt really awkward just strolling back into drama class after that little performance. So I decided to Google map my way home and walk. But when I got home my mom had crepes made just the way I like them and it looked like she had been waiting for me to come home because the second I opened the door her head came popping out of the kitchen.

"Finally your home! Now tell me everything! How was it? Did you make any new friends? Did any of the cute guys hit on you?" She said without taking a breath.

"Jeez mom, one question at a time!" I said as I put down my bags and walked over to the kitchen so I could get a drink.

"Sorry I guess I'm just a little excited for my baby girl's first day at school again. It's almost as if you were in kindergarten all over again." My mom said and it almost sounded like my mom was going to start crying towards the end when she brought up kindergarten.

" So... how was it?" She asked super cheerfully after I had taken a sip of my cream soda pop.

Oh God, I can't tell her! She will get mad and then she will have to tell Bryan. Then that will create tension or even worse! What if he doesn't believe her? And... what if he thinks I'm lying and it's all part of some plan of mine to get my mother back! Oh no. There is no way on God's green earth I'm telling her what happened. Nope, not happening! ! And plus she's finally happy I can't take that away from her. So that's what I did.

"It was great mom!" I said as she told me to take a set at the counter and plopped Nutella, strawberries, bananas, ice cream and Irish cream onto the crepe on my plate.

"Are you trying to make me fat?" I asked and my mom laughed.

"Oh come on. You could never be fat even if you tried!" She said and I gave her a grin.

"You wanna make a bet?" I said and then we burst out laughing.

Man, I really did miss this.

"So... Bryan wanted to go out tonight, so I thought you might want to invite a friend over. You two can go out or order in. I left some money on your dresser for you." She said as she munched down on her crepe.

"Ooohhh is it date night?" I asked my mom in an 'Ooh la la voice'.

"Maybe." My mom said as she started turning red. It was pretty cute to see her this happy and giddy.

"So do you know where you two are going?" I asked and she let out a laugh.

"Not a clue! He hasn't even given me a hint!"

"So what about you? Do you have a friend that could join you for dinner?" She asked and I automatically thought of Taylor and Breanna.

"Yeah, I think so," I said with a smile and my mom jumped up in excitement.

"Ooohhh what's her name?" She asked all curious.

"Well, actually I might have two friends over if that's ok, Taylor and Breanna. Breanna is in three of my classes so far." I said with a smile.

"Awe, well I hope they are free. I'd hate to leave you alone." She said looking glum.

"I think I can survive! But it would be fun if she could come. I'm going to try and give her a call. She gave me her number in English class. Then we will call Taylor." I said and my mom nodded her head.

I had made it halfway down the hall when I turned back around.

"Hey, mom?" I yelled down the hall and she peeked her head out from the kitchen.

"Yes?"

"Thank you," I said with a smile.

"Awe. You are welcome."

"Love you, mom," I said with a smile.

"I know and I love you too." She said and I made my way up to my room.

I got upstairs and jumped on my bed and called Breanna.

"Hey." She said in a cheery voice.

"Hey loser, are you free tonight? "I asked as I crossed my fingers.

"Umm yeah why what's up? " She asked curiously.

"Well my mom is going on a date and she gave me money to go out so I was wondering if you wanted to go out and do something? I also thought we should invite Taylor" I asked hoping she would say yes.

"Oh god Alexis, I like you but I'm totally into guys." She said and I sat up on my bed totally shocked.

"Oh my God Breanna I'm not asking you out, I meant as friends!" I said before I heard her burst out laughing.

"I know I just messing with you. That was payback for lunch." She said while giggling a bit.

"Ha ha very funny! So can you come?" I asked still praying for her to say yes so I wouldn't be home with the demons.

"Yeah sure, text me your address and I'll be there in five. Oh and I can pick up Taylor on the way." She said and I mentally screamed in happiness.

"Sounds good. I can't wait!" I said and hung up the phone and texted her the address. Then I made my way downstairs.

Sure enough when I when downstairs I found Amber and Tiffany sitting in front of the tv.

"Umm hey... my mom said they're going out tonight so we're going to be alone tonight," I said from behind the couch but they didn't respond or even nod or move.

Really?!

I walked over and stood in front of them.

"What the hell? Move I can't see!" Amber yelled at me and I shook my head.

"I was trying to tell you something but you were both ignoring me!" I said and they tried to look behind me at the television.

"Whatever it is, it can wait! Now get out of the way! My future husband is on Tv and I don't want to miss a single second of it!" Tiffany said and I shook my head.

"Unbelievable!"

What is that important they can't even respond to someone when they're talking to them? I thought before looking at the TV.
