Twilight breaking to dawn
Light shimmers in the night
Dew rests on the grass
Cool against my feet

The wind whispers
And whistles
through the woods
Playing with my hair

Stars yawn above me
And clouds cover them
In a blanket of white
The sweet scent of summer
Is chased away by the breeze

The sun peeks through the mountains
Gently waking the world
It wraps all in its warmth
Each sunbeam a kiss

The moon
Dances away
Into the velvet sea of space
