"Hey Mental!" I groan as I hear Maela's voice. "have another bad dream? did you wake up bawling? wet the bed?? I think you did!" she and her idiot friends double over laughing. I feel a lump in my throught, but I will not cry.

Her friend Xannia grabs my arm and says "she totally peed her bed! I can smell it!" I turn around and walk towards the cafeteria, but Xannia blocks my way out. "I think we should teach you a lesson!" she smirks. "you do NOT walk away from the best people without being dismissed!" I know what is coming. It's happened too many timed before. I am going to get beat up. I start squirming and screaming "Let me go!!!!" but that just makes them laugh harder. Maela puts her hand over my mouth and punches me in the face. It hurts. it stings. but I will. not. cry. Xannia takes scissors and starts cutting my hair, my long, red, beautiful hair. No matter how hard I try to hold it back, a sob escapes my lips. suddenly I hear a voice. "HEY YOU BUTTS!!!!!" I look and see Arix, Violetta, and Autuum walking towards us. Maela and Xannia look at them and say "What do you want?"Autuum looks at her and says "Let her go or we'll get Master Lind." Maela scowls but seems to consider what the consequences would be. finally, after what seems like forever she speaks. "you were lucky this time Mental. we'll be coming for you." She says and stalks of with Xannia. The four rush over to me and Arix pulls me into a warm imbrace. "Are you alright?" Violetta asks me. in response I start sobbing. "My hair! My hair!" I cry.

Violetta looks at my hair. her face gives is away. "How much is gone?" I ask even though I know the answer. "She sighs and says "Its only to at your shoulders." This brings a new round of tears. My hair. My long hair I could once sit on is gone.

I am sitting in the cafeteria still getting over the shock of losing my hair. "Stupid sector 7! They always feel like they are the best." I think to myself. Sector 7 truly is the worst. at least all the other sectors are decent. but not 7. oh no. not ever. there are 10 guys

sectors and 10 girls sectors. Each sector is pared with another. for example, if you were in girls sector 1, you would be paired with boys sector 1. every day from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm I will go with my group (boys and girls sector 4) and train. I look at my watch. 10:30. I've still got time. I take another bite of my cereal. Arix walks over to me. "you know you could always tell Master Lind about Maela you know." she says. "no." I say. "already tried to do that remember? that just got me beat up more." I look up at Arix and she squeezes my hand. "I'll always be here if you need me." she says and goes to get her toast.
