My councillor comes closer to me."what did you say..." she whispers. I gulp. "I went into one of the forbidden rooms." she grabs my hand. "I'm taking you to Master Lind. come with me." I follow her. my mind whirls. what have I done? I should have resisted my urge to go where I don't belong. I am angry with myself. now I will have to get yelled at by Master Lind. my mind aches. I am a disappointment. We get to his office. my councillor knocks on the door "Yes??" I hear a voice behind the door. My councillor opens her mouth. "We have a troublemaker." Master Lind answers back."Oh. well, come on in." my councillor opens the door. Master Lind is sitting at his desk. he fixes his emerald eyes on me. he sighs. "I never thought I'd see you here Jinder." I don't say anything. "What did you do?" He asks me. "I went into one of the forbidden rooms." I say. he raises his eyebrow. "Oh? did my system work?" He asks. "Uh yeah..." I answer biting my lip. Master Lind speaks. "Why did you do that?" I don't answer. I can't tell him about the figure. "Look," he starts. "Jinder, we brought you here because we trusted you! we saved your life! now, we all have secrets. things we do not want you to know we are trying to keep you safe. if you know what we know you will no longer be safe! you have disappointed me Jinder! It is imperative that you follow our very few rules! Do you understand?" I start to cry. what have I done? he has been so kind to me, and all I have done is made him sad. Why did I do that? "I am sorry." I whisper. "I won't do it again." Master Lind smiles. "Thank you Jinder. I know you will not do it again due to the side affects..." I nod forcefully. "But we will have to punish you still." I knew that was coming. "I understand you are working with Prochain in training..." I nod. he continues. "Most people enjoy working with it. I understand you are good at it too... you have won your last match. your punishment is that you will have to stay in your room all day tomorrow. your breakfast will be delivered to you at 8:00. you will resume training the day after. do you understand?" I nod reluctantly. I love training. "Good. now go get some sleep." my councillor escorts me back to my room. my eye is strangely itchy on the way back. about ten feet away from the door she stops me. "I am still here for you if you need me." she whispers. I ignore her and walk in. everyone is asleep except for Arix. I turn around and see my councillor is gone. I sit on my bed. Arix comes over to me. "Did you get in trouble?" she whispers. I nod. "I am not allowed to leave the room all day tomorrow. there for I cannot do training either. that really sucks." I say. Arix looks at me. "I am sorry, but at least you'll never do it again." I nod. "I agree." I say. she gives me a friendly hug and goes to bed. I crawl under the covers and drift off to sleep.
