Luke actually felt pretty good about going back to school the next Monday, because he wasn't sure how much more of Ashton he could take.

People still acted weird around Luke when he came back. Girls still tried to flirt with him, guys still gave him high fives as he walked down the halls. He didn't know why, though, because all Luke really did was run around naked for a few minutes.

Everywhere he went, he heard "hi Luke", "good job Luke" and "Luke, come to my party next weekend". He was bored and wished that people would just forget about this whole streaking thing. Luke almost liked it better when people didn't know who he was.

By second period Luke was already beyond annoyed with everyone around him, including his friends. He was on his way to his third period class, English, which he usually walked to with Calum, but Calum was being annoying.

"Have you seen Amy?" Calum asked, frantically looking around the hallway as he approached Luke.

"No." Luke shook his head, crinkling his nose.

"I need to find her." Calum sighed. He hadn't even bothered saying hello to Luke, which was really annoying. Luke needed to vent to someone and usually Calum was there for him, but not today.

"What'd you do?" Luke asked, sounding bored with whatever Calum had to say already.

"I was acting like an idiot and now she's mad at me." Calum groaned, running his fingers through his hair.

"Oh, what happened?" Luke chuckled. He was just a little interested now, because it was rare that Calum's girlfriend was actually mad at him. They never got mad at each other and they hardly ever argued about anything, so Luke thought that it was funny when stuff like this happened.

"It's not a big deal, really." Calum shook his head.

"Are you sure? It seems like kind of a big deal." Luke questioned, walking faster to try and keep up with his friend.

"You wouldn't get it, Luke." Calum sighed.

"Maybe I would." Luke shrugged. He wasn't the best at advice, but he could try to help his friend. Calum was obviously pretty upset about whatever had happened, Luke didn't want Calum to be sad.

"No, you wouldn't." Calum refused.

"I might - "

"You've never even had a girlfriend, Luke, you won't understand what I'm going through." Calum snapped, cutting Luke off. He must have seen Amy from across the hallway because then Calum took off running, not even saying goodbye to Luke. "Amy! Babe!"

"I hate my life." Luke said. He had lost track of how many times he'd said the same thing during the day.

"Hey, Luke!" Michael yelled from behind him. Luke turned around, thankful for once that Michael was here and they could walk to class together.

"Hey, Michael, I'm - " Luke was beginning to tell Michael just how happy he was that he'd shown up, but quickly stopped himself.

Michael was leaning up against a locker and had a girl standing with him, his arms wrapped around her waist as she kissed up his neck. Typical Michael behavior.

"Luke, I won't be in English today!" Michael laughed, placing his hands on the girls hips and pulling her closer to him. He brought his lips to hers and kissed her for a moment before looking back to Luke. "I have some, uh, business, to take care of."

"Oh, Jesus Christ." Luke mumbled to himself, rolling his eyes and turning away from Michael.

He walked to his English classroom alone, once again ignoring everyone that tried to talk to him as he did. Luke made his way straight to his desk, not making eye contact with his teacher that still didn't know his name. Luke was the first one in the classroom, since everyone else was still out in the halls talking to their friends.

Luke sat in silence as he watched all of the other students enter the classroom, and he would be lying if he said that he wasn't looking forward to seeing Ashley. When he spent the night at her house the other day he left early in the morning without saying goodbye and hadn't talked to her since. He didn't like her like that, he just liked talking to her.

At the very last second, Ashley ran into the classroom completely out of breath. She took her seat next to Luke and flipped her hair out of her face, barely making it in time before the bell rang.

"Hey." Luke smiled, looking up at her.

"Hey." Ashley chuckled, quickly getting out her things for class so she didn't get yelled at by their teacher. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Luke shrugged. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well you slept over at my house a few nights and then left without saying anything..." Ashley said, biting down on her bottom lip. Their teacher was talking to the class now, but neither of them were paying any attention to her.

"Oh, yeah." Luke said and let out a small chuckle. He felt a little guilty about that, but he felt even worse about the fact that he'd gotten so drunk that Ashley was forced to take care of him for the night. "Sorry about that, I wanted to try and get home before my mom woke up."

"I see." Ashley nodded. "It just surprised me that you left so soon. I thought that you were going to, I don't know..."

"Explain why I got so drunk that I couldn't even walk?" Luke finished for her, keeping his voice down so they didn't get in trouble for talking.

"Basically." Ashley shrugged.

"I was just having a bad day." Luke sighed, tapping his pencil against his desk to try and distract himself. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to go about explaining to someone he barely knew that he was in love with a girl that already had a boyfriend.

"I kind of assumed that." Ashley laughed softly, also trying to keep quiet.

"I have a bad habit of getting really drunk when I'm upset about things." Luke tried to explain. "It's an easy way to forget why I'm so upset in the first place."

"I kind of assumed that too." Ashley shrugged. "That part was pretty self explanatory."

"Oh, yeah." Luke chuckled nervously.

"So... What was wrong?" Ashley asked slowly after a second. The whole class was moving around and talking now, and both Luke and Ashley had missed their teacher's instructions. "What are we even supposed to be doing?"

"Reading in partners." Luke said, after quickly glancing around the room. He scooted his desk closer to Ashley's. "You'll be my partner."

"Oh, alright." Ashley nodded, setting her book down on her desk again because her and Luke obviously wouldn't be reading. "So why were you upset? Why did you get so drunk?"

"It's not a big deal." Luke sighed, shaking his head.

"Yeah, it kinda is." Ashley scoffed. "I found you sitting in Michael's front yard, you couldn't even walk on your own."

"My friend is dating this girl." Luke finally said, letting out an annoyed sigh. He wasn't very good at sharing his feelings with anyone other than his close friends (and his mommy), so this was all pretty new to him.

"Alright..."

"I really like the girl." Luke continued.

"Oh." Ashley nodded. "And this girl likes your friend?"

"Obviously!" Luke said a little too loudly, letting out a big groan. "They're dating and, like, have sex and stuff. They lost their virginities to each other."

"Why is it that every conversation we have somehow gets to the topic of virginity?" Ashley stopped Luke for a second, laughing to herself.

"I don't know, it's a big deal to me." Luke shrugged.

"And I don't see why!" Ashley laughed. "Luke, I keep telling you - "

"What you keep telling me is bullshit, Ashley!" Luke snapped, cutting her off. He wished that she would just get it through her head that they did not share the same views on sex, so Ashley should just stop trying so hard to get Luke to think the same thing as her.

"It's - it's not bullshit." Ashley said softly. "It makes sense, you just don't get it..."

"I want to have sex, I want to lose my virginity, and I don't care who I do it with!" Luke whispered, not wanting any of their classmates to hear this discussion. "You can try to tell me about this stupid idea that sex is special or whatever, but I'm not going to listen!"

"Luke," Ashley whispered back. "I'm not trying to tell you that you shouldn't have sex at all. Like, I'm not against people having sex, I think sex is cool. I just think that you'd feel a lot better about it if you did it for the first time with someone that actually cared - "

"But that's the thing," Luke whined. "I don't have someone that cares about me enough to have sex with me."

"Well maybe not now, but I'm sure that eventually you'll find someone." Ashley shrugged.

"Is it really that big of a deal, though?" Luke questioned, rubbing at his eyes. He was frustrated and wanted to go home and cry into his pillow while shoving his mouth full of his mom's cookies. But he couldn't, so Luke was forced to keep himself together.

"What do you mean?" Ashley asked.

"Well, like, you've done it before, right?" Luke asked. "Is sex really special? Cuz' I just wanna do it so I don't have to jack off all the time."

Ashley tried to keep a straight face, but she ended up bursting into a fit of laughter that she couldn't control. She covered her mouth with her hands, trying to conceal the fact that she was laughing so hard. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"It's not funny." Luke said, dead serious.

"Yeah, it kind of is." Ashley laughed, wiping the corners of her eyes with her hands. "Plus, having sex and jacking off is totally different."

"No it's not!" Luke argued, letting a small laugh slip out.

"Uh, no." Ashley scoffed, shaking her head. "Sex is with two people, masturbating is with you and your hand."

"Well the same thing always happens in the end." Luke shrugged.

"Okay, sure." Ashley rolled her eyes. "To answer your question - "

"Ashley, have you masturbated before?" Luke smirked, resting his head on his hand and staring innocently back at her.

"To answer your original question - " Ashley repeated louder than before, obviously not wanting to respond to what Luke had just asked.

"Ashley!" Luke yelled, cutting her off once again.

"You're such a little perv!" Ashley said, kicking Luke's shin under their desks. "Sex can be great and sex can be not so great, it all depends on who you're doing it with."

"See, maybe I'll go out one night and have sex with a girl and it'll be great. That doesn't mean I have to actually know her." Luke said, trying to continue this argument even though he already knew that he'd lost.

"That's not what I meant." Ashley sighed.

"I don't see why you have such a problem with me wanting to just have sex to get this whole virgin thing out of the way." Luke went on.

"I just don't think it's right." Ashley shrugged.

"I also don't see why you didn't just fuck me at Calum's party a few weeks ago." Luke chuckled, "I'm a great person, I'm pretty sure it would have been great sex."

"No, it would have been awkward and probably would have lasted about 30 seconds." Ashley furrowed her eyebrows at Luke, tucking some hair behind her ear.

"No, at least two minutes." Luke countered.

"Yeah, sure." Ashley scoffed.

"So..." Luke trailed off, contemplating whether or not he actually wanted to say what he was thinking. It was probably going to make Ashley really upset, but Luke went for it anyway. "Now that we know each other better can we have sex or something?"

"No!" Ashley gasped, kicking Luke's shin again.

"Can I eat you out?" Luke whispered, leaning in closer to no one else could hear. "Or, like, finger you?"

"No!" Ashley yelled, pushing Luke away from her. "Do you even know how to do either of those things?"

"I was hoping that you'd be able to walk me through it." Luke admitted shyly, blushing as he looked down at his desk.

"Luke, you're a great guy, but the only way I'd ever have sex with you is if I really loved you." Ashley sighed, putting a hand on Luke's shoulder. "And that's not going to happen."

"Ouch." Luke clutched his chest, pretending to be offended. He really didn't care, he didn't like Ashley in that way anyway. Luke just wanted to have sex with someone and he figured that Ashley might be willing to help.

"Sorry." Ashley shrugged.

"Are you one of those tough girls that don't like to fall in love?" Luke questioned. "Because Michael is just like that, and I think you two would be great together - "

"I've known Michael since I was four years old, I can't picture ever getting together with him." Ashley said before Luke could even finish what he was saying. "The thought of us actually makes me want to puke. He's gross."

"He's alright." Luke shrugged. "But was I right?"

"Right about what?" Ashley sighed, rolling her eyes again. Luke knew that she was pretty much done with this conversation now, and he should have just tried to change the subject by suggesting that they actually do some work now. Of course he didn't.

"You don't like to fall in love."

"No, that's not true." Ashley said, shaking her head again. "I just don't do it."

"Why, do you have some huge sad backstory about love and how you've had your heart broken by some hunky guy in a muscle tee?" Luke mocked.

"A muscle tee?" Ashley laughed. "No, I don't. You're really annoying."

"This is all your fault, if you weren't so friendly towards me I wouldn't be acting like this." Luke shrugged. It was true, now that Ashley had been nice to Luke and shown that he could trust her, he was going to have a very hard time leaving her alone. It'd be nice to talk to someone other than Michael or Calum about his virgin troubles for once.

"Okay, so next time you're laying in Michael's front yard because you're too drunk to do anything else I'll just leave you there." Ashley kicked Luke again, just because.

"No, don't do that." Luke laughed, covering his face with his hands. Sometimes he hated laughing in front of people, he felt like he made weird faces.

"We can be friends, Luke. I just won't have sex with you." Ashley said after a minute, once they were both done laughing.

"So, like, friends without benefits?" Luke clarified, running his fingers through his hair to try and make it look cooler.

"Yeah, pretty much." Ashley shrugged.

"Cool." Luke nodded. "I'd want Justin Timberlake to play me if they ever make this into a movie."

*•*•*

Luke barely had a chance to walk through the back door after school without his phone ringing. He groaned and took his headphones out of his ears, answering the call.

"Hello?" Luke asked blankly. He hadn't checked who was calling, because he was too upset that whoever it was had interrupted his little dance party. He was listening to Taylor Swift.

"Luke, hey!" Of course it was Ashton. Of course. Luke thought about just hanging up right there and maybe pretending that Ashton had called the wrong number. Then he heard someone giggling in the background of wherever Ashton was and he changed his mind.

"Hey, what's up?" Luke asked.

"Are you home yet?" Ashton questioned, having to raise his voice so Luke could hear him over the loud music playing. It sounded like Ashton was at a club or something, it was making Luke's ears hurt.

"Uh, yeah." Luke chuckled. He looked down at the ground, seeing that he'd taken only one full step into his house.

"Awesome." Ashton laughed, mumbling something else to whoever he was with. (It was Charlie, Luke knew that, but he was pretending that he was clueless). "We're coming to pick you up."

"What? Why?" Luke whined. He didn't want to go out with Ashton and Charlie again. He had big plans for tonight. Big plans to eat ice cream in bed and watch cheesy rom coms on Netflix.

"Because we're all going to my house and eating pizza, duh." Ashton scoffed. "We do this every week."

"Uh, no we don't." Luke said slowly. He had no memories of ever going to Ashton's house on a Monday night to eat pizza. Luke wasn't really a big fan of pizza anyway - tacos were much better.

"Well, Michael and Calum come over every week." Ashton laughed. Oh yeah, it was so funny, he'd some how forgotten that they usually don't invite Luke over for their Monday night pizza parties.

"Is your girlfriend gonna be there?" Luke sighed.

"It depends." Ashton said, but Luke already heard Charlie laughing. "Are you going to hit on her again?"

"I didn't hit on her!" Luke protested.

"You asked if she'd want your fingers inside of her!" Ashton yelled back, earning some more giggles from Charlie.

"Whoa, that's not what I was asking her at all!" Luke yelled. He let out another groan and finally walked into the kitchen, only to find a fresh plate of cookies laying out on the counter. He grabbed a huge handful and shoved two in his mouth.

"Dude, we're already, like, on our way your house." Ashton sighed. "Michael and Calum are already at my place, they're waiting for us."

"So go, don't pick me up." Luke said, his mouth still full. He gave a quick nod to his mom, who was sitting on the couch reading a magazine, as he walked through the living room.

"Michael made me come all the way back here to get you!" Ashton groaned.

"I hate you." Luke said, stuffing his face with another cookie. "I'll be waiting outside of my house, if it takes you longer than five minutes to get here I'm locking myself inside for the rest of the night."

Then Luke hung up his phone, shoving it back into his pocket.

"What are you doing?" Liz laughed as Luke angrily ate more cookies.

"My douchey friends have been having Monday night pizza parties without me for God knows how long and now they suddenly want me to come over." Luke explained briefly. His head hurt really bad, maybe it was from stress.

"Why didn't you just tell them you couldn't come?" Liz asked.

"It just doesn't work that way." Luke sighed. He put a hand on his head, hopping that maybe it would somehow stop his headache. Luke whined, "Mommy, I have a headache."

"Take some medicine." Liz shrugged, her eyes returning back to her magazine. This was clearly not her problem, so she wasn't going to be much help.

"It's fine, I'll see if Ashton has something at his house." Luke groaned, turning on his heels and walking towards the front door. He looked through the window just in time to see Ashton's fancy car pulling up in the driveway.

"I'll see you later tonight, then." Liz called after Luke as he began to walk towards the door.

"Yeah, it was nice seeing you for about 30 seconds." Luke scoffed. "I love you, bye."

He angrily shuffled out the front door and over to Ashton's car, getting in the backseat and slamming the door shut.

"Hi, Streaker." Charlie smiled, turning around in her seat to look at Luke. His mood instantly brightened and he smiled back at her, subconsciously moving to try and fix his hair.

"Hey." Luke grinned, biting down on his bottom lip.

Ashton quickly put an end to their short conversation by placing a hand on Charlie's thigh, making her flinch and look back up at him.

"Can you call in and order the pizzas, babe?" Ashton asked, handing his phone to Charlie. Luke was pretty surprised, he would have expected Ashton to just call in the order himself. He usually seemed to love putting other people at risk by using his phone while driving.

"Ash, can you remember to get half cheese on one of them?" Luke finally spoke up from the backseat. He'd eaten pizza with the boys before (not at the Monday night pizza parties, of course) and they always seemed to forget that Luke didn't like all of the gross things on pizza that everyone else did.

"Oh, yeah, make sure that one is half cheese." Ashton reminded Charlie. "Luke has this weird thing about food, all he really eats is cookies."

Shortly after, they had arrived back at Ashton's house and were currently in his basement. Luke was sitting alone on one side of the couch while Michael was on the other, mindlessly playing video games. Ashton and Charlie were sitting together in a chair on the other side of the room and Calum had disappeared into a corner so he could call his girlfriend for the fifth time.

"Luke, do you want to play?" Michael asked after a few minutes, holding the game controller out to Luke.

Luke barely heard what Michael said, though, because he was too busy watching Charlie and Ashton. They weren't making out for once, which was almost unusual, but they were being really cute. Charlie was cuddled up into Ashton's chest and he had his arms wrapped around her. They were whispering quietly to each other and every few seconds one of them would laugh at something that the other said.

It just wasn't fair. Ashton was an idiot, and a jerk, why did he get to have a cute girlfriend like Charlie? Luke would probably treat her a lot better than
Ashton did. He was funnier than Ashton, so Charlie would probably laugh a lot when they were together. It would be so much better if Charlie just left Ashton for Luke.

"Luke!" Michael repeated, picking up a pillow and throwing it at him.

"What?" Luke finally snapped out of it and turned towards Michael, who was pouting at the fact that Luke wasn't paying attention to him.

"I asked if you wanted to play?" Michael sighed.

"No, not right now." Luke said, shaking his head. He continued to stare at Charlie, still wondering what she was doing with someone like Ashton.

"Hey, what'd we do in English today?" Michael asked, scooting closer to Luke. He couldn't tell if Michael was acting this way just because he felt bad for Luke or because he knew that Luke was mentally beating himself up about Ashton and Charlie. Either way, Michael was being way too clingy for Luke's liking.

"Uh, I don't know." Luke shrugged. He spent the entire class talking to Ashley. They both shared a love of double chocolate ice cream and Netflix.

"What do you mean? You always know." Michael said. Michael always relied on Luke to help him catch up with what he missed when he ditched class to go off with a girl.

"We just read from the book with partners." Luke shrugged.

"What pages?" Michael groaned.

"I don't know, I didn't read them." Luke said, shrugging again.

"But... Weren't you just sitting there by yourself the whole time? I'm always your partner and since I wasn't there you just sat alone, right?" Michael furrowed his eyebrows, clearly not understanding that Luke was capable of doing things without Michael.

"No, I was talking to Ashley." Luke mumbled, looking down at his lap.

"Ashley? Who's that?" Michael questioned.

"Ashley Miller, she sits right next to me." Luke glared at Michael. Ashley was his neighbor, how did he not know who she was? Michael stared back at Luke with a blank expression on his face, the name not ringing a bell. "Dude, she's your neighbor."

"Oh, Hot Ashley!" Michael exclaimed, finally getting it.

"I mean, yeah, but - "

"Didn't you hook up with her?" Michael asked, stifling a laugh.

"A little, but we don't talk about that anymore." Luke said, waving Michael's comment away with his hand. He shrugged, "She's cool."

"Do you like her?" Michael smirked, nudging Luke in the side with his elbow.

"No." Luke answered quickly, his eyes finding their way back to Charlie and Ashton a few feet away from him. "We're friends without benefits."

"What the hell does that mean?" Michael scoffed.

"Like, she won't have sex with me." Luke explained briefly. He added, "Or let me finger her."

"So she friendzoned you?" Michael let out a loud laugh, falling back into the couch.

"No, no, I never wanted to be more than friends in the first place. I just - Ugh." Luke stopped himself mid sentence, knowing that if he continued he'd just make the whole situation worse. Luckily he didn't have to say any more, because the doorbell rang.

"That's the pizza." Ashton said, sitting up a little. He took his hands out from underneath Charlie's shirt (Luke wasn't sure why he didn't notice that in the first place) and ran his fingers through his hair. "Go get it, Luke."

"Ashton!" Charlie scolded him, slapping Ashton on the chest.

"What? He's not doing anything." Ashton mumbled, leaning in and playfully resting his forehead against Charlie's.

They were still cute. Luke still hated it.

"It's fine." Luke sighed and stood up from the couch, straightening out his shirt.

"Ashton there's, like, four pizzas. He can't carry all of them on his own." Charlie groaned, shoving him away from her. She stood up from the couch. "I'll help you with the pizzas, Streaker."

Luke blushed a little at Charlie's nickname for him and he quickly turned around and ran up the stairs, not wanting to keep the pizza guy waiting any longer. He heard Ashton call Charlie back and for a second Luke thought that she wasn't going going to come help him with the pizza, but the sound of her footsteps coming up the stairs told him differently.

Charlie ran up ahead of Luke and opened the front door, greeting the pizza guy with a huge smile. "Hey!"

"Uh, hey." The guy nodded to her, and Luke noticed that his face was getting red as well. See, Charlie just had that affect on people.

"I'll take those." Charlie said, holding her hands out for the pizzas.

"Oh, alright." The pizza guy stammered, handing Charlie the boxes. She mumbled a quick thanks before turning around and shoving the pizzas towards Luke, who stumbled backwards and struggled to hold onto all of them.

"Well, thanks." Charlie giggled and tried to shut the door, but the guy reached out and stopped her.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" He asked.

"What?" Charlie asked with a blank expression on her face, quickly glancing over her shoulder to Luke. He just shrugged, not having any idea what was going on.

"You have to pay me...?" The guy said and rolled his eyes.

"Oh, well the guy that I talked to on the phone said if the pizzas weren't here in a half an hour we'd get them for free!" Charlie explained, sounding more excited about this than she should have been.

"Uh, the pizzas were definitely here within a half an hour of your call." The guy said, glaring at Luke because apparently this was all his fault and not the pretty girl's. "I mean, I got stuck in some traffic but I was still here in, like, 15 minutes."

"I don't think so." Charlie said, shaking her head. She slowly shut the door and eventually the guy walked away, giving up.

"Whoa." Luke let out a huge sigh once he was sure that the guy was gone. He was so sure that he was going to get beat up for that, the guy looked really angry with him.

"Ashton and I do that all the time." Charlie laughed. "I hardly ever have to actually pay for pizzas anymore."

"Really?" Luke questioned. "Wow, you're, like, a professional con artist."

"I wouldn't say a professional, but yeah, I'm pretty good." Charlie smirked, jokingly flipping some hair off of her shoulder. She noticed the way that Luke was just blankly staring back at her and stopped laughing. "Why, is that bad?"

"No." Luke said, quickly shaking his head. "I kind of love it."

"Oh." Charlie giggled. "Okay."

"Like, you're so cool." Luke blushed even more, unable to stop himself from blurting out exactly how he felt.

"Oh my God, you're adorable." Charlie laughed, biting down on her bottom lip. (Oh God, Luke almost had a heart attack). She turned away from the door again and motioned for Luke to follow her back downstairs.

Luke would also be lying if he said that he wasn't looking at Charlie's ass while he walked behind her.

When he'd successfully made it downstairs without dropping any of the boxes of pizza, Luke set them down on the coffee table in front of the couch and sat on the couch again, squashing himself in between Michael and Calum, who'd finally hung up the phone.

"Hey." Calum whispered while Luke shoved a piece of cheese pizza in his mouth.

"Mm?" Luke asked, turning to face his friend.

"I'm sorry for getting upset with you earlier today." Calum said quietly.

"Oh, it's no big deal." Luke said, his mouth total full so his words were hard to understand.

"I feel bad for snapping at you, I was just in a really shitty mood." Calum sighed.

"Yeah, it's fine." Luke lied.

"Alright, good." Calum smiled, letting out another sigh of relief. "So we're cool?"

"Yeah, we always were." Luke shrugged. Luke didn't normally get mad at people, he just got upset with them for stupid reasons. It seemed like he was always a little upset with his friends for the dumbest things, like when they didn't order the right kind of pizza or when they made him do something ridiculous like streak across the football field. But the boys were Luke's best friends and he knew that they weren't always going to be perfect, so he tried not to get into fights with them.

About an hour later, Luke was drunk. They'd all had a little bit to drink (except Calum, he was going to drive Michael and Luke home) just for fun, but Luke had the most and now he was absolutely wasted. And when Luke got absolutely wasted, he cried.

So that's what he was doing now, sitting on the floor of Ashton's basement and crying over something that wasn't even worth crying about while his friends watched and laughed at him.

"I have a math test on Thursday." Luke cried, grabbing a pillow that had fallen on the ground and hugging it to his chest.

"You'll just have to study for it, Luke." Calum chuckled. Ashton and Charlie were still sitting close to each other but had moved to the floor, and both of them were practically in tears themselves from laughing so hard at Luke.

"There's a really hot girl in my math class, though." Luke mumbled. "We can have sex and then I'll cheat off of her on the test."

"You can't do that." Michael said, gasping for air as he laughed even harder.

"Right, cuz' I don't know how to have sex." Luke pouted.

"It's okay, Luke, you'll learn." Ashton giggled, hugging Charlie closer to him and kissing the top of her head.

"God, you're so annoying." Luke groaned, pointing towards Ashton.

"Luke!" Calum yelled, slapping Luke's hand down again.

"What?" Luke asked loudly, scowling as he looked up at Calum. "It's true, Ashton is stupid and annoying."

That only made everyone laugh even harder.

"I think it's time for me to drive Luke home." Calum got up from the floor and tugged on Luke's arm, trying to get him to stand up as well.

"No, Cal, no." Luke whined, trying his hardest to pull Calum down on the floor again. "I want to stay here."

"It's getting late, you have school tomorrow." Calum sighed.

"You sound like my mom." Luke giggled, bringing his knees up and hugging them to his chest.

"Luke, come on." Calum groaned. Michael stood up from the floor, because he had enough sense to know that he had to leave too.

"I want to stay here." Luke said in a whisper, but it was loud enough for Charlie and Ashton to hear. "Charlie's really pretty, I want to stay and look at her."

"Nope, it's time to go." Calum said before Ashton had time to get mad about what Luke had just said. Michael helped Luke get off the floor and Calum half carried him up the stairs, all three of them leaving without saying goodbye.

Luke was pretty sure that Ashton could care less about them saying goodbye, he probably wanted them to all get out of there so he and Charlie could fuck or something.

"It's not fair." Luke whined as Calum shoved him in the backseat, helping Luke buckle himself up.

"What's not fair?" Calum sighed as he got into the drivers seat.

"I always like girls that don't like me back." Luke groaned, leaning his head against the car window.

He probably sounded like a broken record to Calum and Michael, because this is the same thing that Luke said every time he got drunk. He'd always go on and on about girls not liking him and how all he wanted was to have sex and lose his virginity. It was getting old.

"You'll find someone eventually, Luke." Calum repeated for what was probably the millionth time, just telling Luke what he wanted to hear so that he'd shut up.

"I want to have sex. Why don't girls like me?" Luke sniffed, wiping his nose with the back of his hand.

Michael chuckled and looked back at Luke from his spot on the passenger seat of Calum's car. "I think that before you should learn how to like yourself first before you focus on other girls."
