"Maybe this is a sign." Michael sighed, letting go of Melissa. She sat up on his lap while she pulled her phone out of her pocket, answering the call. "Maybe we just aren't meant to have sex."

"Shut up." Melissa rolled her eyes, slapping Michael on the chest. She put the phone to her ear and Michael stopped talking, knowing that he'd get yelled at again if he tried to. "Hello? Yeah, I'm with him now. Okay... Okay... Yeah. Alright, bye."

"Who was that? Why do you keep talking about me?" Michael asked as soon as Melissa hung up.

"That was Luke." Melissa shrugged. "I just really like talking about you to all of your friends."

"I'm serious! What are you doing?" Michael groaned. Like he'd said before, he didn't mind at all that Melissa talked to his friends. In fact, he kind of liked that they were all getting along with each other. Michael just wanted to know why he was being talked about.

"I can't tell you." Melissa said, shaking her head. "Not yet."

"What do you mean, 'not yet'?" Michael whined, sitting up quickly and almost making Melissa fall off of his lap.

"I can't tell you just yet." Melissa shrugged again.

"When can you tell me?" Michael pouted.

"Stop pouting at me like that!" Melissa groaned, grabbing the sides of Michael's face and pinching his cheeks so he couldn't pout anymore. "You'll find out soon."

"You're all planning to murder me, aren't you?"

"Why in the world would we do that?" Melissa scoffed. She climbed off of Michael's lap, grabbing his hands and pulling him off of the bed.

"What are you doing? Aren't we going to have sex?" Michael questioned, following Melissa out of the room.

"Not right now. Later." Melissa said, not even bothering to look back as she pulled Michael down the stairs.

"My presents - "

"We'll get them later." Melissa said quickly.

"Can I change my shirt - "

"You look hot in that one." Melissa said, tightly holding onto Michael's hand.

"Where the hell are you taking me?" Michael asked as they reached the bottom of the stairs, getting a little impatient.

"Your apartment." She shrugged.

"No, the kids are there!" Michael whined. "I like being alone with you, we're never going to get to have sex if the kids are in the apartment!"

"They can watch." Melissa shrugged. She grabbed her jacket that was hanging on the hook near the door and put it on.

"Mel, let's just stay here." Michael begged and tried not to laugh, grabbing Melissa's hand and trying to drag her back into the house.

"I have something really cool planned back at your apartment, you're going to like it." Melissa said excitedly, pulling Michael out the front door.

"A sexy - "

"It's not a sexy maid costume, you've got to let that go." Melissa said, shaking her head again.

"Fine." Michael said, letting out a big sigh.

Michael agreed to go back to his apartment without anymore argument and followed Melissa back to his car, which was still parked out on the driveway. The ride home was pretty quiet, mostly because Michael had no idea what was going on.

When they got back to the apartment Michael stopped Melissa outside of the front door, a little scared to see what was inside waiting for him.

"Are you sure that no one is going to murder me?" Michael asked, placing his hands on Melissa's shoulders.

"No one is going to murder you." Melissa laughed.

"Do you promise?" Michael raised an eyebrow, wanting to purposely stall them a little. He was annoyed at Melissa for not telling him what was going on all afternoon and thought that he would get back at her.

"Michael, I promise." Melissa sighed. "Let's go inside."

"Not yet." Michael shook his head, pulling Melissa forward and bringing his lips to hers. He moved his hands down to Melissa's waist, holding her close to him as she kissed him back.

"We really need to go inside now." Melissa placed her hands on Michael's chest and gently pushed him away from her.

"Alright, fine." Michael groaned, rolling his eyes. He just wanted to get whatever this was over with. "If I get brutally attacked by something it's all your fault."

"You're not going to get brutally attacked by anything, Michael." Melissa snapped. She pushed past Michael and opened the front door, pulling him in behind her.

The lights were all off, just like Michael had left them earlier that morning, and Michael honestly didn't believe that there was anything special in there.

"Mel, there's nothing - "

"SURPRISE!"

The lights went on and all of Michael's friends popped out from different places around the room. Calum was there with Lacey in his arms and Luke was with Sara and Ashton had his arm around Emily (whose baby bump was growing at an impressive rate) and everyone seemed to happy to see Michael. Parker came running from the kitchen and practically pounced on Michael, hugging his leg tightly. Katie came soon after and grabbed Michael's other leg.

"You did not!" Michael couldn't help but laugh a little, turning around to see Melissa standing with her back against the door, once again looking very pleased with herself.

"I did." Melissa shrugged.

"You're the best." Michael gave her a big smile, pulling Melissa closer - as best as he could with two kids hanging on him - and quickly kissed her.

"I'm sorry it's not a huge party. I was going to invite all of your friends but, well, you don't have many and I thought about inviting your parents but I've never met them before and I figured that it'd be kind of awkward and that maybe we could just have dinner with them or something..." Melissa rambled on, looking down at the floor. "I just wanted to do something nice for you, I thought - "

Michael cut Melissa off and kissed her again to shut her up. He didn't know why she was so nervous about this, it was the best birthday party he'd had in a while. (Last year his friends bought him a frozen pizza and stuck 23 candles in it and they drank lots and lots of beer).

"It's perfect." Michael said against her lips, leaving a few more short kisses before pulling away.

"It's not a lot, it really isn't, but I just figured that you'd want to spend your birthday with all of your friends rather than just me..." Melissa trailed off, suddenly seeming embarrassed about this whole thing. Everyone had stopped talking and was staring at Michael and Melissa, waiting for what was going to happen next.

"No, Mel, this is so great, really." Michael assured her, wrapping an arm around her waist. "I don't know what you're so worried about. This is amazing, thank you."

"You're welcome. It was kind of hard to keep it a secret from you, you kept bothering me." Melissa chuckled, poking Michael in the chest.

"I was suspicious!" Michael protested.

"Yeah, yeah." Melissa sighed, playfully rolling her eyes at him.

"Happy birthday Daddy!" Parker yelled loudly and giggled, squeezing Michael's leg to get his attention. He was staring up at Michael with a huge smile on his face, still hanging off of Michael's leg like a koala.

"Thanks buddy." Michael smiled, ruffling Parker's hair with his free hand.

"Happy birthday Mikey!" Katie said loudly (and Katie was usually never loud), calling Michael by his name for once instead of just screaming at the sight of him.

"Aw, thank you Katie." Michael said, bending down and picking Katie up in his arms. She wrapped her arms tightly around Michael's neck, hugging him.

"Did you get my present?" Katie asked, quieter this time, and smiled at Michael.

He was a little surprised, Katie hardly ever spoke more than a few words to Michael, and suddenly she was striking up a whole conversation. He didn't mind, of course, because he'd been waiting for Katie to do something like this. He wanted her to feel comfortable enough around him to talk like this.

"The bear? Yes, I did, and I love it." Michael nodded, quickly kissing Katie on the forehead. "Thank you very much."

"You're welcome. It's a cute bear." Katie said, blushing and burying her face in the crook of Michael's neck.

"I got you a present too!" Parker said, getting Michael's attention once again by hitting him on the leg. This time when Michael looked down at Parker he looked upset, probably because he wasn't used to Michael and Katie being so comfortable with each other and Parker didn't like sharing his dad.

"Really? Where is it?" Michael asked, looking down at Parker.

"Oh, I don't have it yet." Parker said, giving Michael a small shrug. He let go of Michael's leg and stepped away from him, folding his arms across his chest. "I'll go find something."

Parker turned and ran out of the room, down the hallway and into his own room, probably to go find a toy or something that he could give Michael as a birthday present, even though in the end Parker would use it more than Michael ever would.

It only took a few seconds for Katie to wiggle around in Michael's arms and make him put her down as well. She ran off down the hall, following Parker into his room.

"Guess what?" Melissa asked, nudging Michael's shoulder with her own.

"What?" Michael questioned. He wasn't sure that he could take any more surprises today, he'd been through too much in the last 24 hours.

"Ashton is going to let the kids sleep at his place tonight." Melissa said, giving Michael a big smile.

"Really?" Michael asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I talked to him about it this morning." Melissa nodded. She laced her fingers together with Michael's, pulling him towards her.

"Am I going to get my last few birthday presents?" Michael smirked at her.

He really hoped that all of this was going to go as planned and Ashton would actually going to take the kids for the night. He loved Parker and he loved Katie, yes, but he just needed one night without them.

"Yes." Melissa nodded slowly, biting down on her bottom lip.

"Oh boy." Michael chuckled, already anticipating what was going to come later that night.

The two of them stayed there and talked quietly with each other for a few more minutes as everyone else dispersed and went to the living room, all of them wrapped up in their own conversations.

"Hey Michael, come over here!" Calum called after a few minutes, waving Michael over to where he was standing with Luke and Ashton.

"Go talk to your friends." Melissa said, pushing Michael forward. "I'll still be here when you're done."

"Okay." Michael nodded quickly, turning around again to give Melissa one last smile before he went over to where his friends were.

"Hey." Ashton said as Michael approached them, patting him on the back. "Happy birthday."

"Thanks." Michael said, watching Melissa from across the room as she walked over to Emily and Sara and made some conversation with them.

"Sara and I got you a present, it's over there. Don't open it now, though." Luke said, shaking his head. "Wait."

"Alright." Michael nodded, chuckling softly. "Thank you."

Michael felt so appreciative about so much at the moment, he didn't think that he was every going to be able to say thank you enough times.

"Hey, Lace, say happy birthday to Uncle Michael." Calum said, poking Lacey in the tummy and trying to get her to talk. She didn't say happy birthday to Michael, but he didn't mind. She was quietly sitting in Calum's arms, looking all around the room in awe.

"Calum only talks to Lacey now." Luke leaned in to Michael to speak, trying to say what he wanted without Calum hearing.

"That's not true." Calum snapped, tearing his attention away from Lacey for once.

"It's true." Ashton agreed with Luke, nodding to himself.

"She's my daughter, what am I supposed to do?" Calum scoffed. He turned back to Lacey and tickled her again. "You're my little girl, I have to talk to you."

"I can't wait to have my baby." Ashton let out a big sigh, a huge smile plastered across his face.

"Ashton, you can't have a baby." Michael joked, gently patting Ashton on the back.

"Yeah, well, my wife can, and she's going to." Ashton scoffed. "It's taking forever, though, nine months is a really long time."

"Yeah, that's the point." Michael shrugged.

"I'm so excited." Ashton giggled and all the other boys groaned, unable to take Ashton's happiness.

"What if it's not a girl?" Michael asked. He knew how bad Ashton wanted a daughter, Michael wondered how he would feel if he had a son instead.

"It's my kid, I'll love it no matter what." Ashton shrugged, a goofy smile still plastered on his face. "Plus, if we have a boy then it'll just give us another opportunity to try again for a girl."

"Nice." Calum scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"So, Luke, what about you? Any news on the baby? Or, babies?" Ashton asked, leaning over and looking a Luke, who didn't seem to be paying any attention to the boys anymore.

"Two. Babies." Luke said blankly, his eyes focused on Sara across the room. It was still hard to tell that she was pregnant since it was still so early, but Michael knew that eventually they'd definitely be able to tell that Sara was expecting a baby - or two, in this case.

"You're going to be fine." Calum rolled his eyes. Luke had probably been complaining about this all day and Calum was probably very annoyed with Luke, like usual.

"No I'm not!" Luke yelled loudly, shaking his head, and suddenly all four boys erupted into a big pep talk for Luke about how he could do this and they were going to help him every step of the way.

Finally, Luke decided that he would be okay.

"Okay, but can we just take a minute and appreciate how much Michael's girlfriend loves him?" Ashton changed the subject once they'd settled down a bit, wrapping an arm around Michael's shoulders.

"What?" Michael scoffed, not sure why Ashton brought that up. He and Melissa hadn't ever used the term love with each other and Michael was sure that Melissa didn't feel that way about him yet.

"Dude, she's totally in love with you." Ashton furrowed his eyebrows at Michael, like he was confused at the fact that Michael hadn't realized this before.

"No, no." Michael said quickly, shaking his head.

"Yes, yes." Ashton mocked him.

"Michael, she put this whole thing together." Calum reminded him, only entering the conversation for a moment, and then continued to play around with Lacey.

"Well, yeah... That doesn't mean she loves me." Michael mumbled, staring down at the floor. He didn't want to have this conversation right now and he wasn't sure why his friends were pushing this so much. He was fine with how his relationship with Melissa was right now, and he'd discuss the whole concept of love with her when the time came.

"She called me at three in the morning in a panic because she wanted to do something nice for your birthday and wanted my help." Luke spoke up, still watching Sara from the other side of the room.

"That doesn't mean she loves me." Michael shrugged.

"She loves you!" Ashton groaned loudly, frustratedly running his hands through his hair.

"We've only been dating for a few months, I don't know if it's that serious..." Michael trailed off, shaking his head to himself.

He didn't think it was possible to fall in love with someone in such a short amount of time, mostly because it took him practically his whole life to figure out that he loved Beth and that didn't even turn out very well.

"You talk to her about having kids together all the time. I've heard you say that you want to spend the rest of your life with her. She's, like, the one." Luke said, his eyes wide.

"Well, yeah, I talk about having kids with her but I'm not sure if that means that I really love her. I don't know, guys, I feel like I'm getting so ahead of myself - "

"Stop arguing. You know we're right." Calum added, looking up at Michael for a short second.

"She loves you and cares about you a lot and you need to realize that before you do something to fuck up and lose her." Ashton sighed.

"I'm not going to do anything to fuck up." Michael frowned, folding his arms over his chest. Now he was just worried, he was going to be paranoid about everything that he did around Melissa because he'll be afraid that he'll fuck up.

"We'll see." Luke chuckled.

"Anyway, I hear that you two are going to have a little alone time tonight." Calum chuckled. He reached over and covered Lacey's ears with his hands, even though he wasn't even saying anything that bad.

"Oh yeah, I'm taking your kids tonight." Ashton nodded.

"I think you're finally going to get laid." Luke laughed. Michael just rolled his eyes and slapped Luke on the back of the head.

"What does that mean?" Michael scoffed. "How would you know if I've had sex recently or not?"

"We just know." Ashton shrugged.

"You haven't fucked anyone since Beth left." Luke smirked, still looking as if he was very pleased with himself.

"Luke!" Calum snapped, gesturing to Lacey again.

"What, I can't even say the word fuck? Calm down, she's not going to repeat it or anything - "

"Duck." Lacey spoke up for the first time, giggling softly to herself.

"Look what you've done!" Calum yelled, shaking his head at Lacey.

"She just said, duck! Not fuck, it's fine!" Luke defended himself, looking innocently between the three other boys.

"Fuck!" Lacey giggled again and Calum gasped, turning to Luke and glaring.

"Lacey Hood! Don't you ever say that again!" Calum scolded her, but Lacey just laughed and hugged Calum tighter. Calum looked towards Luke again. "This is your fault."

"This is your fault, before I met you I didn't swear nearly this much!" Luke turned to Michael and yelled at him, throwing his hands up in the air.

"It's not Michael's fault, at least he doesn't go around swearing in front of a two year old!" Ashton argued in Michael's defense.

"I didn't mean to say it, it just slipped out!" Luke groaned.

"Now my two year old daughter is going to go around saying the word fuck all the time!" Calum yelled, not even bothering to cover Lacey's ears this time.

"Blame Michael." Luke scoffed, folding his arms across his chest.

Michael opened his mouth to argue some more but before he could say anything he felt someone grab his leg again. He looked down and saw Parker standing there with Katie right beside him.

"Hey Park." Michael smiled, running his fingers through Parker's hair.

"I got you a present." Parker gave Michael a big smile, holding up one of their video game controllers.

"Oh, thanks Pac-Man." Michael said, gently patting Parker on the head.

"It's nice, right?" Parker asked hopefully, blinking up at Michael with his big green eyes.

"Yeah, it's super nice." Michael nodded, taking the controller from Parker. He showed it to his friends. "Look what I got, guys."

"That's awesome." Luke laughed, seeming to forget about the small argument he was having with his friends.

"Yeah, I want one." Ashton pouted, folding his arms across his chest.

"You can get one for your birthday." Parker said, giving his Uncle Ashton a big smile.

"Alright, I'm looking forward to it." Ashton nodded. "I love video games."

"So do I!" Parker giggled. "Mario Kart is my favorite."

"I know, Park, I've played Mario Kart with you lots of times." Ashton reminded him, squatting down so he was eye level with Parker.

"Oh? Oh yeah, I remember." Parker nodded after looking at Ashton with a confused expression on his face.

"Parker's played so many games of Mario Kart he just can't keep track." Michael laughed, running a hand through Parker's hair again. He didn't want to admit it, but his hair was getting long and Parker would be needing to get it cut again soon.

"Yep." Parker nodded, a big smile still on his face.

"I like Mario Kart too." Luke spoke up, seeming to feel left out. Everyone was paying attention to Parker now, except for Calum, who was playing with Lacey again and totally ignoring everyone else.

"Mario Kart is the best." Parker rolled his eyes at Luke. "Duh."

"Pac-Man, why don't you go play with Katie some more? You can come back and talk to us later." Michael suggested, wanting just a little more time alone with his friends. It wasn't very often that he got to just talk to his friends with no kids around, and Michael knew that soon they'd all have children and they'd never be able to hang out like this.

"Okay. Happy birthday... Again." Parker said to Michael, hugging him again before grabbing Katie's hand and pulling her across the room, to where Melissa was standing with Emily and Sara.

The little "party" continued on for a few more hours (they had cake and ice cream and everything) until everyone decided that they were tried and it was time to go. Lacey fell asleep on Calum and Sara and Luke got in a minor argument as they left, which wasn't unusual at all.

Fortunately for Michael, Ashton stayed true to his offer and was willing to take Parker and Katie with them when he and Emily left, promising that they'd had the kids back in time for them to get ready for school the next morning.

"I want to stay." Parker whined, reaching up and holding Michael's hand, trying to pull Michael back into the apartment.

"You're going to sleep at Ashton's house tonight, buddy, I thought we already talked about this." Michael sighed, stayed put and not allowing Parker to pull him any farther into the apartment.

He quickly glanced over his shoulder at Melissa, who was helping Katie get her shoes and cost on. Katie was perfectly fine with spending the night at Ashton's house, even though she really didn't know him. She was fine going anywhere as long as Parker would be going with her.

"But I want to stay with you." Parker pouted, staring up at Michael with his eyes wide.

"I'll see you in the morning, you'll only be at Ashton's house for a few hours." Michael assured him.

"No." Parker said, continuing to pout.

"Michael." Ashton spoke up from his spot near the front door. He clearly wanted to get going, Emily wasn't feeling very good and Ashton wanted to get home as soon as he could, and Parker was just making things difficult.

"Michael, it's okay. They can just say here, we don't have to - " Melissa stood up and walked over to where Michael was standing, folding her arms across her chest.

"No." Michael said quickly, shaking his head. All he was asking for was one night alone, just one night without Parker or any other interruptions. "He'll go, it's fine."

"I don't want to go, Daddy." Parker sniffed. "I want to stay here with you."

"Park, listen to me." Michael said, getting down on his knees and placing his hands on Parker's shoulders. "You're going to stay with Uncle Ash for the night. It'll be just like when you go over to Mommy's house, but shorter. You'll be back here in the morning, okay?"

"Okay." Parker nodded slowly, his eyes quickly filling with tears.

Now Michael felt really bad, but he knew that it was too late to go back on this. He'd made arrangements for Parker to spend the night at Ashton's house and he wanted to stick to those arrangements.

"I'll see you tomorrow, alright bud?" Michael said, leaning in and kissing Parker on the forehead.

"Bye bye Daddy." Parker said softly, slowly walking towards Katie, who was already standing by the door and waiting patiently to leave. "I love you."

"I love you too, Park." Michael gave Parker a small smile as he watched everyone leave the apartment. "I'll see you later."

"I'll have them back here in time for school tomorrow, don't worry." Ashton said, giving them a wave as he left. He shut the door behind him, finally leaving Michael and Melissa alone.

"I feel bad." Melissa sighed, leaning up against the door. "I didn't think he was going to be upset about this."

"He'll be fine." Michael said, shaking his head. "He does this sometimes when he has to go to Beth's house, he just doesn't like to leave me."

"I know, I know." Melissa nodded. "I just feel bad, I don't want him to spend the whole night upset because he misses you so much."

"He'll be fine, Mel, really." Michael assured her.

"Okay, if you say so." Melissa gave Michael a shrug, stepping away from the wall and walking to where Michael was standing.

"Parker's going to fine, Katie's going to be fine, everything will be fine." Michael said, wrapping his arms around Melissa's waist and pulling her closer.

"Fine." Melissa smirked at him.

"Thank you, again, for all of this. Seriously." Michael said again, wanting Melissa to know how grateful he was for all of this.

"It's no big deal, really." Melissa blushed looking down at the ground.

"Thank you." Michael repeated, his hands slipping up the sides of her shirt.

He pressed his lips to hers, turning his head to the side to deepen the kiss for a moment before pulling away, resting his forehead against Melissa's.

"I think it's time for you to get your other birthday presents." Melissa bit down on her bottom lip, taking Michael's hand and leading him down the hall and into his bedroom.

Michael slowly let the door shut behind him, his heart already beating fast. He knew that this time there would he no interruptions. There was no reason for anyone to call, no party to get to, no kids to get in the way. This was actually going to happen.

Melissa hesitantly unbuttoned Michael's shirt and pulled it off of him, dropping it onto the floor as they slowly walked backwards, closer to the bed.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Michael asked, just because he felt like it was always a good idea to make sure that stuff like this was okay. He would never want Melissa to feel like she had to do this with him.

"Yes." She nodded, pulling her own shirt off over her head before bringing Michael in for a kiss again.

Melissa pulled him down on the bed, causing him to land on top of her, kissing him slowly as Michael messed around with the button on her jeans. Finally Michael just went ahead and undid it, sliding the jeans off of Melissa's legs and watching as those fell to the floor as well.

She ran her hands down Michael's chest, stopping when she got to the button on his own jeans. Melissa slowly undid it and Michael wiggled his way out of his tight skinny jeans, finally kicking them off, onto the floor.

"So, uh, what are we going to do?" Michael whispered, his lips brushing against the skin on Melissa's neck. He was nervous, he'd only actually done this a handful of times and didn't want to mess it up.

"Whatever you want." Melissa said, wrapping her arms around Michael's neck again and leaving a few short kisses on his lips.

"I'm going to need some sort of format." Michael chuckled as he kissed her, moving a hand down to her waist again.

"Format? Michael, this isn't an English essay. There is no format, just... Do it." Melissa laughed. She brought her hands up to Michael's face and cupped his cheeks, brushing a few strands of hair out of his eyes.

"Just tell me what you want me to do." Michael rolled his eyes at her, blushing a little at how awkward this was.

"Michael." Melissa laughed, kissing him again and biting down on his bottom lip, making him jump a little. "I want you to fuck me."

"Wow, okay." Michael nodded, breathing heavily. "I can do that... Maybe."

Michael decided to just shut up before he made things worse by talking again. He didn't think that Melissa understood how nervous he was but at the same time he didn't want to tell her how he was feeling. All Michael knew was that he really, really wanted this to happen, and he was ready for it.

His lips moved down, he kissed all across her neck, her chest, her stomach, trying to take his time. He wanted to go slow, and make sure that Melissa was feeling good about the whole thing as well. This wasn't something that he wanted to rush to get over with quickly, he wanted to enjoy this.

"Are - Are you on birth control or anything?" Michael asked awkwardly, breaking the silence between them. "I don't have a condom and I really don't think we should go without one. I-I mean, we don't need anymore kids running around this place."

He clearly didn't do this very often, and Michael wasn't prepared at all despite the fact that Melissa had mentioned this "special birthday present" a few days before.

"There's one in the pocket of my jeans." Melissa answered simply, her fingers twisting in the ends of Michael's hair by the nape of his neck.

"Oh." Michael nodded. He quickly climbed off of her and reached for her jeans, retrieving the condom from her back pocket. Then it finally hit him that Melissa had walked around all day with a condom in her pocket. "Why?"

"Calum gave it to me." Melissa shrugged.

Michael tried to ignore the fact that Calum, who Melissa had a small history with in the past, had given Melissa a condom and focused instead on what was actually happening.

Michael climbed on top of Melissa again, holding himself above her and wondering how they were going to go about this whole thing. Michael had only had sex with one other person, he didn't know what Melissa liked or disliked and how she did things; this was all kind of new to him.

"Oh, that's...interesting." Michael said, raising his eyebrows. "I'm so excited to use Calum's condom for this."

"Oh, shut up." Melissa scoffed, rolling her eyes.

Michael's mouth found his way back to Melissa's and their lips connected once again, moving slowly against each other. Melissa's hands travelled up Michael's back, making him shiver slightly at her touch, and ended up at the nape of his neck again, pulling him in close.

Michael slowly let his hands find their way to the waistband of Melissa's underwear and he hesitated for a moment before pulling them down, tossing them off of the bed and into the pile of clothes already on the floor. His own boxers came off next, and shortly after there was nothing separating them aside from the condom.

"Alright." Michael nodded, leaning in and kissing her again. They kissed for a few minutes before Michael started to get anxious, now more excited than nervous. "So... When are we going to start this?"

"Oh my god," Melissa laughed, covering her face with her hands. "You're so awkward."

"I'm not awkward." Michael argued.

"Yes you are." She laughed. "Just calm down, Michael, stop being so nervous."

"I am not nervous." Michael protested. "I just want this to be good, that's all."

"It will be, okay? Trust me." Melissa said, laughing again. She quickly kissed Michael on the lips before pulling away again and moving her hair to the side, giving Michael access to her neck again.

"Well, I mean, you can call me Daddy or something," Michael mumbled as he kissed down her neck, his hands still tightly gripping her waist. "Maybe it'll lighten the mood."

"Ugh, flip over." Melissa groaned, bringing her hands up to Michael's chest and pushing him so he rolled onto the other side of them bed.

"Oh?" Michael said, slightly confused. For a second he'd thought that Melissa didn't want to do this anymore. He'd definitely never done this before. "Are you going to go on top?"

"Yes..." Melissa giggled before climbing on top of Michael, putting a leg on either side of his body and straddling him. Michael sat up so his back was against the headboard and wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close to him.

"Oh, fuck." Michael swallowed hard, trying to keep himself together while Melissa left lots of sloppy kisses all along his jawline and moving her hips against his. "Fuck you."

"Okay." She nodded, laughing as she kept her lips pressed to Michael's neck.

Melissa pulled away for a second, reaching behind her and unclasping her bra, throwing it down on the floor beside the bed.

"Wow..." Michael breathed out, the whole thing really hitting him for the first time. They were actually doing this and Michael felt a lot different about it than he expected he would. He felt like it actually meant something, it meant a lot to him, and he didn't know what to think of that.

"Michael?" Melissa asked, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him close to her, their chests pressed together.

"Yeah?" Michael panted, getting more used to the feeling of this.

"I love you."
