In the meantime, Jae Hyun and Hae Won were still struggling at the sports centre. Not being aware that Eagle was a formidable agent, none of them expected that he could easily handle two people at the same time.

Initiating the battle, Hae Won lunged at Eagle, attempting to punch his face. However, he neatly evaded her while she fell off balance, scraping her body against the floor. Seeing his best friend being tortured, Jae Hyun, of course, could not stand idly by.

"You bastard," he propelled himself upward, channelling all his power into a forceful kick at Eagle's chest. But it proved futile to the trained agent who remained unflinching. Jae Hyun then strived to grab the man's shoulder and wrestle him down but it did not bother him either.

"The audacity," Eagle scoffed and seized Jae Hyun by the neck, swiftly ascending into the air and hurtling him against the upper gallery fence.

The impact was so strong that Jae Hyun felt as if his spine was broken. For a brief moment, his flying ability wavered and he began to fall off. However, his hands miraculously clung to the fence just before he could levitate again, clutching his hips and groaning in agony.

"Don't even think about defeating me," Eagle taunted, approaching him, "You can't even control your power."

Undeterred, Jae Hyun made a grip on Eagle jacket and forcefully slammed him against the fence.

"Agrhh," Eagle grunted "You're so much like a person I know... Myeong Sang Chul?"

"Huh?" Jae Hyun was rendered speechless for a moment, "My father?"

It was not until Eagle mentioned Sang Chul that Jae Hyun realised who Eagle was.

"You... you killed my father?" he mumbled and glared at the man.

The incident was more than a decade ago and Eagle's appearance had changed drastically. In addition, he now had a scar on his left cheek, created when Sang Chul attacked him with a knife. Jae Hyun could not exactly remember how he looked, but he could at least roughly recall.

"You still remember me?" Eagle inclined his head and stared at Jae Hyun.

"You bastard," he clenched his fist and delivered a full-on punch to Eagle's face, pushing further away.

Eagle then grabbed the young boy's collar and threw his body at the upper gallery's seats. Jae Hyun's body was severely crippled, covered with countless bruises and wounds. But the adrenaline rush prevented him from feeling any pain. All he thought about was that he must avenge his father's tragic death. He then quickly got up and retaliated by capturing Eagle, pushing him down and banging his body against the ground.

Meanwhile, Hae Won was absolutely flustered, panicking and clumsily running around while frantically searching for some way to help her friend.

Eagle began to go mad and made a brutal kick at Jae Hyun's midriff, pulling him up high and tossing him at full force toward the ground.

"Ahhhhh," Jae Hyun screamed out loud as his altitude dropped.

"Jae Hyun-ah," Hae Won gasped while witnessing the fall. As her protective instinct kicked in, she rushed over to catch him.

"Huh..." Jae Hyun panted while falling into her arms. Some magically how, he managed to brake himself right when he landed on her. That was by far the neatest ending he had ever made. "I... I can brake myself now."

"I got you," Hae Won chuckled and hugged him tightly, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah... I'm alright," he stroked her hair, "Just stand here, OK? I'll fight him."

Jae Hyun then continued fighting. Clenching his fist and dashing through the air, he strived to deliver another punch at Eagle's face to knock him out. But he missed and they both slid past one another. Not faltering, Jae Hyun managed to brake himself one more and turned back, determined to fight until the end.

"Hey, Jae Hyun!" Hae Won shouted and gripped a kettlebell.

Seeing Hae Won preparing to lift the kettlebell, Jae Hyun could already anticipate her intention. From behind, he grabbed Eagle's arms and locked them while driving him towards Hae Won at his maximum speed. As he approached Hae Won, he released Eagle, letting inertia do the rest of the job.

"Yahhh," Hae Won grunted and slammed the kettlebell at Eagle's face.

In an instant, Eagle was completely knocked down. Being hit by the 5kg kettlebell, he immediately passed out, falling onto the ground and lying motionless while blood began to stream out from his nose and mouth.

"Jae Hyun-ah," Hae Won ran over to Jae Hyun who had just fallen onto the ground. Seeing her friend being injured so badly, she was totally freaking out, scrambling her hands through his legs, arms and then faces to check on his wounds and bruises.

"Hae Won-ah, are you OK?" he softly chuckled and asked her.

"I'm fine," she said and helped him up.

"I'm worried, you know?" he stared at his friend, touching the sides of her ribcage to ensure that she did not break any bones.

"Don't worry," she chuckled and raised her arms up, making it easier for him to check up on her, "See, I'm totally fine!"

"I was worried that you would break some bones... but you seem fine, I guess," he shyly smiled at her.

"I can heal myself, remember?" she grabbed his wrists, "By the way, don't do that again. You cannot heal so it should be me the one who protect you."

"No," he retorted. "You can heal but... you're... human after all. You still feel pain. How can you expect me... to do nothing? I don't wanna see the girl I like... getting hurt..." he spluttered.

"Huh?" she averted her eyes while her lips were tightly pucker, "I... I..."

"I'm sorry... Did I just... say something weird?"

"No... Jae Hyun-ah," she said and stepped closer to him. "You said you liked me, right? Actually... I also... feel the same," she leaned herself forward, hugging him tightly and giving him a tender kiss on his lips. It was her first kiss but, for some unknown reason, she was not shy, even just a bit.

Jae Hyun was completely numbed, not knowing how to react to Hae Won's unexpected action. Just like her, this was also the first time he was kissed by someone. The feeling of her plush and warm lips touching his, it was strange, but wonderful too.

"I'm sorry... if it was too abrupt," she stared at him with her blushed face.

"It's OK. I loved it..." his face also blushed as he gently ran his hand through her hair, "By the way, I think long hair suits you more."

"Aigoo," she laughed, "This isn't the time to..."

But the loving moment did not last for long.

"Aisshh," Eagle suddenly stood up and pulled out his gun, ruining the romantic atmosphere, "You kids are just... so hard to handle..."

"Stay away from him!" Hae Won commanded and stood firmly in front of Jae Hyun.

"Stop acting like you cannot die," Eagle smirked and aimed his gun at the two high school kids, "Even if you have healing ability, just one headshot and then you're done."

"You son of th..." Jae Hyun was about to launch himself at Eagle again, but Hae Won stopped him.

"Don't worry, I can do this," she tightened her grip on his wrist.

Eagle was about to shoot them, but a phone call interrupted him.

"Hey Eagle, come back to Seodong," Cheetah commanded, "Grizzly died and I couldn't contact Bumblebee. I think that So Hyun attacked them. It couldn't be Ju Won because he hasn't arrived yet."

"Copied that," Eagle flatly said and put his phone back into his pocket.

"So Hyun? My mom?" Jae Hyun mumbled as he overheard the talk.

"Huh?" Hae Won quizzically looked at Jae Hyun.

"Hey Hae Won, isn't Ju Won your dad?" he said under his breath.

"Yeah," she nodded her head.

"They're in school now," Jae Hyun nervously said and then turned to Eagle, "Hey!"

"Do not follow me," Eagle aimed the gun at Jae Hyun.

"What the hell's happening?" Jae Hyun exclaimed as Eagle began flying away.

"I said don't follow me," the man raised his voice and fired the gun without the slightest tinge of qualm.

"Jae Hyun-ah," Hae Won pulled Jae Hyun back to barricade him from the flying bullet, embracing his body. "Arghhh," a painful scream echoed through the room as blood spurted out from her shoulder.

Eagle then flew away, leaving Jae Hyun alone with his loved one being crippled, just like what he did thirteen years ago.

"Hae Won-ah," Jae Hyun gasped and hugged Hae Won tightly, freaking out as he saw his friend being shot, "Are you OK?"

"It... it hurts," she painfully heaved out the words, dropping her head onto his shoulder.

"It's alright. I'm here with you," he reassured and gently rubbed her back.

"I think... we need to get back to the school. Our parents are in danger," she toiled out of his embrace and asserted.

"Just stay here. I'll go there to check things out."

"No, let me go with you. My wounds will heal soon so it won't be a hassle," she patted his back.

After a while, Hae Won managed to persuade Jae Hyun. Carrying her in his arms, he flew her to the school. It was a special moment for her, a thing that she never experienced before.

Arriving at Seodong Highschool, Eagle spotted her moving under the sheltered walkway connecting the building and the car park. He had been going easy on Jae Hyun partly due to him being a highschool kid. However, he had no reason to show mercy in dealing with So Hyun and was relentlessly firing the bullets at her.

"Holy sh*t," So Hyun mumbled as she looked at the shelter, poked by the bullets, and then attempted to shoot Eagle. However, the man was faster than her and a bullet collided with her arm. "Arghh," she instinctively groaned and then ran away. After all, it was safer for her to fight inside the building instead of an open area like this.

"Yahhhhhhhh!" Jae Hyun abruptly showed up and tossed himself at Eagle.

"Huh?" So Hyun gaped at the unfolding scene, temporarily unable to comprehend what was going on.

"Stay away from my mom!" he yelled at Eagle and punched his face.

"Jae Hyun... No!," she screamed out so loud that her voice nearly cracked, terrified by the fact that her son was there.

Quickly retreating into the building again, she headed straight to the staircases, trying to reach the rooftop. But it was never that easy for her. A whooshing sound sprang to her ear and she suddenly felt a force exerted on her body. It was Cheetah sliding through her, with such a speed that she could not register.

"Nice attempt to take us down, Kang So Hyun," he scoffed, "But you won't."
