"Laura lego" me and Laura have been best friends for as long as i can remember. We went to school with eachother from kindergarten to grade and ten and have played hockey together since we were three, you know those guys and girls who two of them are like best friends and insepreable well thats us, or it was us until I moved away for prep and then the big leagues. Although me and Laura have kept in touch it just hasent been the same nothing feels better than seeing her face in person and not on a six inch ipad screen. "Im coming Jeff" she yells form upstairs in her bedroom "I'll be down in a sec." Her words hit me like a baseball to the face they hurt but in a good way not that i enjoy being hit in the face by a baseball. idrk ima dude im not good with this metaphoric shit,anyways what im trying to say is ever since ive got home i feel like things are different when i see laura or hear her voice. When ever im around her i get butterflies in my stomach and my heart seems to skip ten thousand times fater then my usual heart beat. Ive talked to Stallsy about it and he says im in love, i cant be in love with laura, shes like a sister to me, shes like a beautiful, perfect sister to me, what am i thinking, no, no this cant be happening,

Lauras POV THIS IS WHEN KAROLINE STARTS TO WRITE

I slipped into my Hawks jersey Jeff gave me for my 19th birthday. It's so great to have him back in Ontario, I understand he is living his dream but I just wish we could live our dreams together. For as long as I can remember Jeff and I have been attached at the hip, but now ever since he has been home my feelings have started to change... I never noticed how adorable his laugh is or how cute his dimples are. I guess I'll just have to brush off my feelings, they could ruin our friendship and our friendship is extremely valuable to me.

I walk downstairs to find Jeff siting on the couch on his phone, most likely texting his friend Elias from North Carolina. Once he notices I'm here he stands up.

"Finally, let's go. We are going to be late."

"Well sorry. I'd love to see you deal with all this hair" I say defending myself.

*at the game*

There is a huge crowd at the game today. I get kinda nervous, I've been to many Leafs games but this is huge turnout. Yes believe it or not the Leafs actually have fans, especially in the Toronto area. If you're not a Leas fan then you're a Sens fan. If you're neither, you're hated.

*skip to third period*

Bozak chipped the puck over the glass and the whistle was blown. It's a TV timeout with 10 minutes left to the game and the Hawks up 3-0 with goals from Kane, Toews and Shaw. I look up and see that they have the kiss cam going around, a few people have recognized Jeff and they drew a good bit of attention towards us, possibly a little more then needed. Suddenly Jeff lightly taps my arm, I look at him and he points towards the screen above the ice. We are on the kiss cam. Jeff and I. Together. On a kiss cam.
Once you're on the kiss cam there isn't a chance to back out. Jeff starts to lean in. Are we really going to do this? Am I really going to kiss my best friend? Who I may be a little attracted to. Our lips connect. I feel fireworks. No scratch that it's like fucking World War Two up in here. The kiss only lasted for a little while as we couldn't make out in from of thousands. We pull back but Jeff grabs my hand.

"Uh Laura" he starts "did you um feel anything during that kiss?"

"Maybe a little..." I say not knowing how to answer.

"I don't really know how to say this but uh youlookreallyprettyandyouaresoamazingateverythingandiloveyou." A bunch of words come flying out of his mouth. Wait he loves me.

"oh um I-I love you too."

"Laura Cappelli, would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?"

"Of course." I say and kiss his cheek before he pulls me into another sweet kiss on the lips.

The section seated by is cheers and I start to blush.

January 17th, 2015. The day the Hawks headed back home with a shut out and Laura Cappelli and Jeff Skinner admitted their love for each other. + plus the day the all powerful amazing God known as Karoline Keating was born.
