This agitated Venus even further. She was furious, that her property was being claimed by someone else. Even further, the one claiming it was pretending to be as stubborn as herself.

She wasn't at ease. Instead, she wanted to rip his hand right off his body and then take her treasury home with her. Cygnus chuckled.

"So that's how you deal with a man of strength. I warn you again. Leave me in place and I won't even care to remember you."

"Is that so? Then I must make sure for you to remember me."

Venus jerked back. With another move, she slided beneath Cygnus' hand and tried to hit him from behind. Too late. Before she could hit his pressure point, he had already hit her back. Just one single hit and that led her to fall down like a lump on ground.

"Oh. Was that all?"

"Mate! Did you hit her that hard?"

"Well... I guess that was just a hit. How could she.."

Cygnus bent down to check her breathing. She wasn't breathing.

"Lady! Miss!!"

"Phaet! She is plain. She doesn't move."

"Wha-?"

Before he could complete his sentance, Phaethon saw his friend fall down on the lady lying before him. He couldn't understand. He was confused. Before he could process anything else, two hands pushed Cygnus' body aside, dusting their own clothes after getting up on the two legs.

"What on earth did you do to my friend?" asked Phaet in utter confusion.

"He himself brought this tragedy for him. And Oh! Those molluscs!"

Venus snatched them right off his hands, stomping her way ahead.

"What on earth! Cygnus! Cygnus! Oh my dear friend wake up!"

A vigorous cough from Cygnus and Phat's heart came to an ease. His mind was running in circles as to what brought them to such a tragedy. A first ever time Cygnus got defeated. And that too, by a lady!

" What was that witch!? "

" Heaven knows."

"A tragedy!"

"No. A remedy."
